TheUSBPrinterisamaintenance-freedevice.Ifcleaningofthehousing

isneeded,useabre-freeclothmoistenedwithamilddetergentora

disinfectant.Beforecleaning,disconnecttheprinterfromtheanalyzerand

removepaperroll.

DonotcleantheinsideoftheUSBPrinter.

 Beforeinstallingandusingtheprinterincombinationwiththe

m-PIMA™AnalyserorthePima™Analyser,carefullyreadthem-PIMA™

AnalyserUserGuide(UG-m-PIMA-01)andthePima™AnalyserUser

Guide(UG-PIMA-01),respectively.

 WheneverpossiblerechargetheUSBPrintertogetherwiththe

m-PIMA™AnalyserorthePima™Analyser.

2 OPERATION

Installaon

Allprinngprocessesarecontrolledbytheanalyzer.ConnecttheUSB

PrinterbyinserngtheUSBplugoftheprintercableintooneofthetwo

USBportslocatedatthebackoftheanalyzer.Starttheanalyzerandthe

instrumentwillautomacallydetecttheUSBPrinter.

 IftheanalyzerdoesnotautomaticallyrecognizetheUSBPrinter,

disconnecttheprinterfromtheUSBportandreconnectitwiththe

instrument.ShouldtheinstrumentstillnotrecognizetheUSBPrinter

shutdowntheanalyzerandrestartwiththeUSBPrinterattached.

ThestatuslightontherightsideoftheFEEDkeyindicatesfunconalityof

theUSBPrinter.Thelightmaybeashingorconstantlyilluminated.

Whentheprinterisdisconnectedfromtheanalyzer,thestatuslightwill

ceasetobeilluminatedaerashortwhile.

Green light: theprinterisfullyfunctionalandreadytoprint

(whenconnectedtotheanalyzer)

Orange light:theprinterbatteryislow

 (rechargetheUSBPrinterviatheanalyzer)

Red light:theprinterisnotreadytoprint

(ingeneralthisoccurswhentheprinterisoutofpaper;ifthecondition

persistsdespitereplacementofprinterpaper,pleasecontactyourlocal

distributor).

Replacement of Printer Paper

Upondelivery,theUSBPrinterisprovidedwithonerollofthermalpaper.

Ifthepaperrollisnished,anewrollneedstobeinsertedintothepaper

compartmentoftheprinter.

 Openthelidoftheprinterby

slightlypullingtheleverinside

upwards.

 Completelyopenthelidto

exposethepapercompartment

andremovetheemptypaper

roll.
