Available Drying Cycles

NOTE: Use the automatic cycles for drying items

that can be dried with heat. These cycles

automatically dry loads to the dryness level

selected.

MORE DRY will dry very small loads and some

heavy items, such as blue jeans, but will overdry

lightweight items, such as sheets and shirts.

Overdrying can cause wrinkling, shrinking, excessive

lint conditions, and will use more energy than

necessary.

LESS DRY, which uses the least energy, will dry

large loads and lightweight items, such as sheets

and shirts, but might leave other items, such as

denim and heavy bath towels, more damp.

To increase energy savings and to make sure loads

are dried without overdrying, set your loads on

LESS DRY. If items are damp at the end of a cycle,

the timer knob needs to be set closer to the MORE

DRY setting the next time these loads are dried. If

items are overdry at the end of a cycle, the timer

knob should be set closer to COOL DOWN when

these loads are dried again. Remember the settings

that work best to get ideal drying results.

The COOL DOWN period at the end of each cycle

provides items a chance to tumble with no heat and

cool down to room temperature. This prevents

wrinkles from setting if items cannot be cared for

immediately.

NOTE: The timer knob will not advance as

quickly in the AUTOMATIC cycles as it does in

the TIME DRY cycle. The time it takes for the

timer to advance depends on the type and size of

the load being dried.

AUTOMATIC REGULAR/DELICATE Cycle

Use for sturdy items like play or work clothes and

also for delicate items. The type of heat is

determined by choosing the proper FABRIC

SELECTOR option. There are two settings in the

AUTOMATIC REGULAR/DELICATE cycle –

MORE DRY and LESS DRY.

TIME DRY Cycle

This cycle will operate dryer for up to 75 minutes.

Cottons and heavyweight items dry best between

50 and 75 minutes, and lightweight items dry best

between 20 and 40 minutes.

AUTOMATIC PERMANENT PRESS/KNITS

Cycle

Use for permanent press items and synthetics. The

type of heat is determined by selecting the proper

FABRIC SELECTOR option. There are two

settings in the AUTOMATIC PERMANENT

PRESS/KNITS cycle – MORE DRY and LESS

DRY.

operating the dryer.

To Dry Clothes

IMPORTANT: Refer to the INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS before using dryer.

IMPORTANT: Before using dryer for the first

time, use an all-purpose cleaner or a detergent

and water solution and a damp cloth to remove

shipping dust from inside dryer drum.

1. Sort items into

separate loads. 5. Select FABRIC

SELECTOR.

Follow garment

manufacturer’s

care labels for

recommended

temperature

settings.

6. Select timer setting in cycle desired:

AUTOMATIC REGULAR/DELICATE,

TIME DRY, and AUTOMATIC

PERMANENT PRESS/KNITS. These cycles

control the drying time.

7. Push timer knob in to start dryer.

NOTE: To stop dryer at any time, open the door

or turn timer knob to an OFF position. To

restart dryer, close door, reset timer if

necessary, and push in the timer knob.

Optional Equipment

A drying rack,

is available as

rack can be used

for no-tumble

drying of articles

such as tennis

shoes, sweaters,

stuffed toys or

other delicate

items.

Ciclos de secado disponibles

NOTA: Utilice los ciclos automáticos para

aquellas prendas que puedan secarse con calor.

Estos ciclos secan automáticamente las cargas

hasta el nivel de secado seleccionado.

El ajuste MORE DRY (Más seco) se emplea para

cargas muy pequeñas y algunas prendas pesadas,

tales como pantalones de dril (blue jeans), pero

seca excesivamente la ropa liviana como, por

ejemplo, sábanas y camisas. Un secado excesivo

puede hacer que la ropa se arrugue, se encoja y

capte demasiadas pelusas. Además, consumirámás

electricidad de la necesaria.

El ajuste LESS DRY (Menos seco), que consume

menos electricidad, se emplea para cargas grandes y

ropa liviana, tales como sábanas y camisas, pero

dejaría más húmedo otro tipo de ropa como, por

ejemplo, telas de dril y toallas de baño pesadas.

A fin de lograr un mayor ahorro de energía y

asegurar que las prendas no se sequen

excesivamente, coloque el secado de la carga en

LESS DRY (Menos seco). Si las prendas quedan

húmedas al final de un ciclo, cuando seque

nuevamente ese tipo de cargas coloque la perilla del

temporizador más cerca del ajuste MORE DRY

(Más seco). Si las prendas se secan excesivamente

al final de un ciclo, cuando sea necesario secar

nuevamente ese tipo de ropa deberácolocar la

perilla del temporizador más cerca del ajuste de

COOL DOWN (Enfriamiento). Tenga en cuenta los

ajustes que funcionen mejor para obtener resultados

de secado ideales.

El período de COOL DOWN (Enfriamiento) al final

de cada ciclo permite que las prendas sigan dando

vueltas en la secadora sin recibir calor y se enfríen

hasta alcanzar la temperatura ambiente. Esto evita

que la ropa se arrugue cuando no pueda retirarse de

inmediato de la secadora.

NOTA: En los ciclos AUTOMATIC

(Automáticos) la perilla del temporizador no

avanza tan rápido como en el ciclo de o TIME

DRY (Secado predeterminad). El tiempo que

tome el temporizador para avanzar dependerá

del tipo y del tamaño de la carga que se esté

secando.

Ciclo AUTOMATIC REGULAR/DELICATE

(Automático regular/delicado)

Este ciclo se emplea para prendas fuertes, tales

como ropa de juego y de trabajo, asícomo para

prendas delicadas. La intensidad del calor se

determina escogiendo la opción correspondiente

en el FABRIC SELECTOR (Selector de tela). El

ciclo AUTOMATIC REGULAR/DELICATE

(Automático regular/delicado) ofrece dos opciones:

MORE DRY (Más seco) y LESS DRY (Menos

seco).

Ciclo de TIME DRY

(Secado predeterminado)

La duración del secado en este ciclo podráser

de hasta 75 minutos. Las prendas de algodón y

las prendas pesadas se secan mejor entre 50 y

75 minutos, mientras que las prendas livianas lo

logran entre 20 y 40 minutos.

Ciclo AUTOMATIC PERMANENT

PRESS/KNITS (Automático de

planchado permanente/tejidos de punto)

Este ciclo se emplea para las prendas de planchado

permanente y prendas sintéticas. La intensidad del

calor se determina seleccionando la opción

correspondiente en el FABRIC SELECTOR

(Selector de tela). El ciclo AUTOMATIC

PERMANENT PRESS/KNITS (Automático

de planchado permanente tejidos de punto) consta

de dos opciones: MORE DRY (Más seco) y LESS

DRY (Menos seco).

Secado de la ropa

IMPORTANTE: Véase las INSTRUCCIONES

DE INSTALACIÓN antes de utilizar la secadora.

IMPORTANTE: Antes de utilizar la secadora

por primera vez, emplee un limpiador de uso

general o una solución de detergente con agua y

un paño húmedo para limpiar el polvo del

tambor de la secadora acumulado durante su

transporte.

1. Divida las prendas en

cargas separadas.

5. Ajuste el FABRIC

SELECTOR

(Selector de tela).

Siga las

instrucciones de los

fabricantes para el

cuidado de la ropa

que aparece en las

etiquetas, en cuanto

a los ajustes de

temperature recomendados.

6. Coloque el ajuste del temporizador en el ciclo

deseado: AUTOMATIC REGULAR/

DELICATE (Automático regular/delicado), de

TIME DRY (Secado predeterminado) y de

AUTOMATIC PERMANENT PRESS/

KNITS (Automático planchado permanente/

tejidos de punto). Estos ciclos controlan la

duración del secado.

7. Oprima la perilla del temporizador para iniciar el

secado.

NOTA: Para detener la secadora en cualquier

momento, abra la puerta o gire la perilla del

temporizador hasta la posición OFF (Apagado).

Para continuar el secado, cierre la puerta,

reajuste el temporizador si es necesario y oprima

la perilla del temporizador.
