This biometric device is equipped with anti-fake technology: In case your fingerprint would be
reproduced on a piece of silicone or on other material, the anti-fake technology associated with
the fingerprint sensor prevents the presented counterfeit material to grant access to the data,
improving drastically the protection of your data.
All data is encrypted in real time(AES256bit).

4. Precautions
1) The product is provided with a protection film on the fingerprint sensor. Please remove the film
before using to optimize the fingerprint recognition.
2) Be careful not to scratch or damage the fingerprint sensor.
3) When registering the fingerprint, the registered finger must completely cover the fingerprint
sensor in order to increase the fingerprint recognition rate.
4) The fingerprint registration must be completed before using the USB memory. Carefully follow
the user manual instruction.
5) This device can record up to 3 different fingerprints and save them in an order
6) If the authentication fails for 5 consecutive times after the fingerprint registration, the green
LED and the red LED flash alternately. In this case, you have to disconnect and reconnect the USB
memory.
7) User data deletion
Having presented a total of 15 unregistered fingerprints, all the data is erased. (Existing data
cannot be recovered by the manufacturer and we shall not be liable for the deleted data.)
8) If you connect the USB memory directly to the computer without using the extension cable,
depending on the computer’s USB terminal location, plug it conveniently as the fingerprint sensor
can be located either on the front or the back side.
9) Be sure to click the ‘Safely Remove Hardware and Remove Media’ button to eject this device
from the computer. Removing this device without clicking the button may result in data loss.
5. How to register / reset your fingerprint
-Connect the USB memory to the USB terminal of the computer directly or connect via extension
cable.
1) First fingerprint registration
Green LED On> Place the finger to the direction you wish to register on the sensor. (Please let the
fingerprint completely cover the sensor.)
When the fingerprint is recognized, the green LED flashes 2 times and vibrates 1 time. Then lift off
your finger.
-Notice-
- When registering the fingerprint, the sensor must be completely covered with fingerprint in order
to increase the recognition rate.
- For fingerprint registration, please register three kinds of fingerprints at once*
(*This device can record up to 3 different fingerprints and save them in order. These 3 fingerprints are
recorded by scanning each fingerprint 4 times in different directions.)
- If the fingerprint registration exceeds the fingerprint recognition waiting time(about 40seconds),
or if the USB memory is connected to the computer again, the registration will restart from the
first fingerprint.
Repeat this step 4 times in total. If the LED is changed to red, the first fingerprint registration is
completed.
2) Second fingerprint registration
Red LED On>Place the finger to the direction you wish to register on the sensor.
When the fingerprint is recognized, the green LED is on and vibrate 1 time. Then lift off your
finger. Repeat this step 4 times in total. If the LED is changed to orange, the second fingerprint
registration is completed.
3) Third fingerprint registration
Orange LED On> Place the finger to the direction you wish to register on the sensor.
When the fingerprint is recognized, the green LED is on, vibrate 1 time. Then lift off your finger.
Repeat this step 4 times in total. When the three fingerprints are registered, the orange LED blinks.

4) Reset fingerprint
In order to reset the device, the user with the currently registered fingerprint must keep one of
the registered fingers on the sensor for about 15 seconds. After this procedure, the red and green
LED will start flashing alternately and the fingerprints are successfully deleted. (Please notice that
this procedure only deletes registered finger and that prior stored data is still accessible after the
next fingerprint registration).
６. Fingerprint recognition and USB Memory use
1) After registering all 3 fingerprints, place the registered finger on the
fingerprint sensor.
2) If the fingerprint recognition is successful, the green LED will blink and the
USB key is ready to use.
3) If the fingerprint recognition fails, the red LED flashes.
4) After the first fingerprint registration and recognition, the USB memory must
be formatted. (Removable disk format*).
*For compatibility with Mac OS, select Format Type ‘ExFAT’.

5) All data is safely stored in real time encrypted with AES256bit without
installing any program.
6) 10 minutes timeout function – If the USB memory is connected to a
computer for about 10 minutes and is unused throughout this period(no
writing or reading operation), the USB device will automatically disconnect
for security reasons.
7) When the green LED and red LED alternately blink (Fingerprint wait time
exceed, 10 minutes timeout error), you can use it by reconnecting the USB.

within two years of purchase (free warranty period).
*However, the customer shall not have any claims under this warranty for repair or
adjustment expense if;
