circuit interrupter (GFCI) that has been installed

by a licensed electrician.

• Power cables should be protected at all times to avoid

punctures, cuts, bruises, and abrasion.

Safety Information

• Never handle power cords with wet hands.

responsible for losses, injury, or death

resulting from a failure to observe these safety

precautions, misuse or abuse of pumps or

equipment.

• Rinse the container and ﬁlter with fresh water.

• Rinse clay media, decorative mixed gravel, and polished

black gravel individually.

• Place container in desired indoor location.

NOTE: Only set on a sturdy and ﬂat surface.

• Install the plant and waterfall ﬁlter onto the container

(Ex. 1).

NOTE: The ﬁlter ships with a waterfall light and water

pump pre-attached for quick and easy setup, ensure

cords do not obstruct the ﬁlter from sitting ﬂat (Ex. 2).

• Remove any debris, algae, or buildup as needed.

• Periodically clean the pump’s sponge ﬁlter by removing the

intake screen when the pump is turned off (Ex. 9).

• Periodically clean the pump by removing it from the bottom of

the ﬁlter (Ex. 10). First disconnect the tubing from the bottom

of the ﬁlter, then slide the pump away from the waterfall to

remove.

• To clean the pump, open the water chamber cover to access

and clean the internal impeller using white vinegar or Aquascape Pump Cleaner Maintenance Solution (#91143).

• If desired, conduct a water change 1-2 times per month by removing up to 20% of the water and replacing with fresh water.

General Maintenance

• Add the mixed gravel to the bottom of the container, then

add the clay media to the upper ﬁlter (Ex. 6).

• If adding plants, rinse existing soil or fertilizer from roots,

then insert the roots into the clay media (Ex. 7).

• Connect the plant light by inserting into the port at the

back of the plant and waterfall ﬁlter (Ex. 3).

• Plug the waterfall light, plant light, and pump into the

included controller with pre-attached transformer (Ex. 4).

NOTE: The controller features designated ports for the

Waterfall Light, Pump, and Plant Light. See the icons

above the switches on the controller (Ex. 5).

NOTE: Select water loving plants, such as small marginal

plants.

NOTE: Depending on plantings, you may not need to use

all clay media.

• Top with the polished black

gravel to anchor plants

and/or clay media (Ex. 8).

NOTE: Do not plant/ﬁll the

upper ﬁlter so much that

water begins dripping water

over the back of the ﬁlter.

• Fill the AquaGarden with

fresh water.

NOTE: It is recommended to use Pond Detoxiﬁer (sold

separately) to remove chlorine from tap water making it

safe for ﬁsh and plants.

• Once container is mostly full, turn on the pump and lights

as desired.

NOTE: The fountain is designed for continuous use. It is

recommended to run the pump/waterfall 24/7 to maintain

ideal water conditions.

NOTE: Keeping the lights on for excessive periods of time

can lead to issues with water quality and algae growth.

• Lights are not working

– Make sure the outlet is receiving power

– Make sure the ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is not tripped

– Verify the controller is securely connected to the transformer

– Make sure the light cord is completely plugged into the controller

– Verify the proper switches are turned to the on position

• Waterfall is not running properly

– Verify there is enough water in the container for the pump to operate

– Make sure the pump is completely plugged into the controller

– Verify the pump is properly connected to the ﬁlter

– Clean the sponge ﬁlter located at the intake of the pump

– If needed, remove the pump from ﬁlter to clean the internal assembly/impeller

Warranty Information

ONE YEAR WARRANTY

Aquascape warrants that the container, ﬁlter, lights, pump, and controller/transformer, will be free of manufacturing

defects for one year from date of purchase. Proof of purchase required. Warranty does not cover damage resulting

from negligent handling, misuse, or lack of reasonable maintenance or care. The Tabletop AquaGarden should only

be operated in freshwater conditions without corrosive chemicals like chlorine or bromine. If upon Aquascape’s

inspection, product shows evidence of a manufacturing defect, Aquascape’s liability is limited, at Aquascape’s option,

to the repair of the defect, replacement of the defective product, or refund of the original purchase price. The warranty

excludes costs of labor, removal of product, shipping and expenses related to the installation and re-installation of the

product. All products that include plumbing (tubing, pumps, check valves) need to be properly drained and winterized

otherwise warranty is null and void. No liability for loss or damage of any nature or kind, whether arising out of or from

the use of the product, whether defective or not defective, is assumed by Aquascape, Inc. or its afﬁliates. Aquascape

shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or other damages arising under any theory of law whatsoever.

• Rincer le récipient et ﬁltrer à l’eau douce.

• Rincez le support d’argile, le gravier mélangé décoratif et

le gravier noir poli individuellement.

• Placer le contenant à l’endroit souhaité à l’intérieur.

REMARQUE : Placez-le uniquement sur une surface

solide et plane.

• Installez la plante et le ﬁltre cascade sur le conteneur

(Ex. 1).

REMARQUE : Le ﬁltre est livré avec une lumière

cascade et une pompe à eau pré-attachées pour une

insérez les racines dans le

support d’argile (Ex. 7).

poli pour ancrer les plantes

et/ou des milieux argileux

(Ex. 8).

REMARQUE : Ne pas planter/remplir le ﬁltre supérieur au

point que l’eau commence à couler à l’arrière du ﬁltre.

• Remplissez l’AquaGarden d’eau fraîche.

REMARQUE : Il est recommandé d’utiliser Pond Detoxiﬁer

(vendu séparément) pour éliminer le chlore de l’eau du

robinet, la rendant sans danger pour les poissons et les

plantes.

• Une fois que le récipient est presque plein, allumez la

pompe et les lumières comme vous le souhaitez.

REMARQUE : La fontaine est conçue pour une utilisation

continue. Il est recommandé de faire fonctionner la

pompe/la cascade 24h/24 et 7j/7 pour maintenir des

conditions d’eau idéales.

REMARQUE : Garder les lumières allumées pendant des

périodes excessives peut entraîner des problèmes de

qualité de l’eau et de croissance des algues.

• Retirez tous les débris, algues ou accumulations au besoin.

• Nettoyez périodiquement le ﬁltre en éponge de la pompe en

retirant le tamis d’admission lorsque la pompe est éteinte

(Ex. 8).

• Nettoyer périodiquement la pompe en la retirant du bas du

ﬁltre (Ex. 9). Déconnectez d’abord le tube du bas du ﬁltre, puis

faites glisser la pompe loin de la cascade pour la retirer.

• Pour nettoyer la pompe, ouvrez le couvercle de la chambre à

eau pour accéder et nettoyer la turbine interne à l’aide de vinaigre blanc ou de la solution d’entretien nettoyant pour pompe

Aquascape. (#91143).

• Si vous le souhaitez, effectuez un changement d’eau 1 à 2 fois par mois en supprimant jusqu’à 20 % de l’eau et en la

remplaçant par de l’eau douce.

• Connectez la lumière de la plante en l’insérant dans le port

à l’arrière de la plante et du ﬁltre en cascade (Ex. 3).

• Branchez la lumière de la cascade, la lumière des plantes

et la pompe dans le contrôleur inclus avec transformateur

pré-attaché (Ex. 4).

REMARQUE : le contrôleur comporte des ports désignés

pour la lumière de la cascade, la pompe et la lumière de la

plante. Voir les icônes au-dessus des commutateurs sur le

contrôleur (Ex. 5).

• Ajoutez le gravier mélangé

au fond du récipient, puis

ajoutez le support d’argile

au ﬁltre supérieur (Ex. 6).
