This section contains safety instructions that will
help protect from risk of personal injury or property
damage.
Failure to follow these instructions will void all types
of warranty.
1.1 General safety
•This appliance complies with the international
safety standards.
•Do not use this appliance outdoors and or the
bathroom.
•Never attempt to dismantle or separate the mounted
parts of the appliance.
•Only use the original parts or parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
•Always use the appliance on a stable, flat, clean,
dry and non-slip surface.
•Do not put any other substances (milk etc.) into the
water tank other than water.
•Never put hot water into the water tank.
•If you keep the package material, keep it away from
children.

•When the water tank is not in its place, do not pour
water into the slot where the water tank is mounted.
•The appliance is designed to operate at 4-37°C
80% relative humidity.
•Due to the manufacturing technology, steam and
odour may arise in the heating element of the
appliance during the initial use. This is normal for
your appliance. It will return to normal after being
used for a few times.
•Avoid contacting the hot surfaces. The base
(heating surface) where brewing reservoir gets hot
and thus, the brewing reservoir also gets hot during
operation. Therefore, do not touch this area during
usage process and until the appliance gets cold,
hold the brewing reservoir by its handle. Otherwise,
there is a risk of burning.
•Do not move the appliance when there is liquid in
the brewing reservoir, when there is water in the
water tank or when the appliance is still hot.
•Make sure that the appliance is unplugged before
moving the appliance.

•For additional protection, this appliance should be
connected to a household residual current circuit
breaker of maximum 30 mA.
•Connect the appliance to a grounded outlet
protected by a 16 ampere fuse.
•Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the
appliance itself is damaged.
•Do not use the appliance with an extension cable.
•Do not expose or immerse the appliance in water
or other liquids.
•Never touch the appliance or its plug with damp or
wet hands.
•Prevent damage to the power cable by not
squeezing, bending, or rubbing it on sharp edges.
Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces and
naked flame.
•Make sure that there is no danger that the power
cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone
could trip over it when the appliance is in use.
•Unplug the appliance if any failure occurs.

•Unplug the appliance before cleaning it and never
clean it when it is in use. (Out of quick and deep
cleaning).
•Do not pull the power cable of the appliance to
unplug the appliance from the outlet.
•Your mains power supply should comply with
the information given on the rating plate of the
appliance.
•Do not use the appliance in or near places where
combustible or inflammable places or materials are
present.
•Do not use the appliance next or close to heat
resources (hob, grill, heater core, stove etc.).
•Keep the appliance away from steam resources and
avoid using it in environments containing excessive
steam.
•Do not use the brewing reservoir with any other
heater (hob etc.) apart from the appliance.
•Make sure the appliance is kept in a place out of
the reach of children.

•The appliance is designed to be used in houses,
kitchens of the employees at offices, stores and
other working environments, and in the guest rooms
at the hotels, motels and other accommodation
places.The appliance is not intended for commercial
use.
•Do not use the appliance for anything other than
preparing coffee.
•Extreme caution is advised when using the appliance
near children and persons who are restricted in
terms of their physical, sensory or mental abilities.
•This appliance may be used by children who are at
the age of 8 or over and the people whose physical,
perceptive or mental skills are impaired or who
are inexperienced or not knowledgeable about
the appliance as long as they are supervised or
informed and made understood the safe use of the
appliance and the encountered dangers.
•Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance procedures should
not be performed by children over 8 unless they are
supervised by an older person.

1.2 Compliance with WEEE directive and disposing of
the waste product
This product complies with EU WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU).
This product bears a classification symbol for waste electrical
and electronic equipment (WEEE).This product has been manu-
factured with high quality parts and materials which can be re-
used and are suitable for recycling. Do not dispose of the waste
product with normal domestic and other wastes at the end of its service
life. Take it to the collection center for the recycling of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment. Please consult your local authorities to learn about
these collection centers.
1.3 Compliance with RoHS Directive
The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive
(2011/65/EU). It does not contain harmful and prohibited materials speci-
fied in the Directive.
1.4 Package information
Package of the product is made of recyclable materials in ac-
cordance with our National Legislation. Do not dispose of the
packaging materials together with domestic or other wastes.
Take them to the packaging material collection points desig-
nated by the local authorities.
