nControleer of de aansluitspanning
overeenkomt met de netspanning
in de woning.
nMaak de boxspringleeslamp
spanningsloos voordat u met
schoonmaken begint. Trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
nZorg ervoor dat het snoer niet
bekneld kan raken.
nLeg het snoer zodanig dat niemand
erover kan struikelen.
nGebruik de boxspringleeslamp niet
als steun om u aan op te trekken of
om tegenaan te leunen.
nLet op kleine kinderen die op of
onder het bed kunnen spelen.
Onderstaande nummers komen
overeen met de tekeningen op de
uitklappagina.
1. Haak de lamp aan de hoofdsteunbuis
of afstandhouder.
2. Let erop dat het snoer niet tussen de
buis en de klem van lamp bekneld
raakt.
3. Zet de klem lichtjes vast.
4. Stel de lamp recht.
5. Draai de schroeven goed aan zodat
de lamp vastzit.
6. Monteer het verlengsnoer en de
stekker.

4. Storingen 5. Onderhoud
nDe elektrische delen van de
boxspringleeslamp werken op 12 V
zwakstroom. Een eventuele storing
is lastig, maar nooit gevaarlijk.
Controleer of:
nde stekker in het stopcontact zit;
ner netspanning aanwezig is;
nhet stekkertje van het aansluit- en
de verlengsnoeren in de
transformator en de lamp zitten.
nHet vervangen van een LED lampje
is niet nodig. Een LED lampje heeft
zo om en nabij 50.000 branduren,
dat is zo’n 45 jaar, bij 3 uren
branden per dag.

6. Auping garantie
De merknaam Auping staat borg voor
jarenlang probleemloos functioneren.
Auping maakt gebruik van hoog-
waardige en duurzame materialen.
Elk product wordt met de grootste
zorg gefabriceerd en nauwkeurig
gecontroleerd voordat het de fabriek
verlaat.
Op alle Auping producten wordt
standaard garantie gegeven. Deze
garantie wordt gegeven door de
erkende Auping dealer die het
betreffende product verkocht heeft;
diens naam en adres zijn vermeld in de
originele factuur.
Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid om
via www.auping.nl/garantie of via
www.auping.be/nl/garantie tot regi-
stratie van een aankoop over te gaan.
Na registratie kan jegens de hiervoor
bedoelde dealer kosteloos aanspraak
gemaakt worden op een verlengde
garantie, voor bijna alle Auping
artikelen. Met garantie in totaal wordt
hierna de periode van standaard en
verlengde garantie samen bedoeld. De
totale garantietermijn voor boxspring-
leeslampen bedraagt 2 jaar.
De garantietermijn gaat in op de datum
die vermeld staat op de factuur van de
consument.

Application to Auping AVS Box Springs.
For a flat, non-adjustable AVS box
spring without headboard you need to
order a separate set of spacers, Item
no. 499875SC, on which to mount the
lights.

nCheck whether the connecting
voltage matches the mains voltage
within the home.
nDisconnect the box spring reading
light from the power supply before
you clean it. Pull the plug from the
socket.
nMake sure that the power cord
cannot become trapped.
nPlace the power cord such so that
no one can trip over it.
nDo not use the box spring reading
light as a support to pull yourself
up or to lean against.
nWatch for small children who can
play on or under the bed.
Below listed steps, correspond with the
images on the folding page at the end
of this booklet.
1. Hook the clamp over the headboard
support or spacer.
2. Make sure that the power cord is not
clamped between the light’s tube
and clamp.
3. Loosely tighten the clamp by turning
the bottom 2 screws.
4. Set the arm of the light horizontally
by turning the top screw.
5. Now tighten the bottom 2 screws so
the clamp is properly fixed.
6. Connect the extention cord (if
needed) and connect the lights to
the plugs of the power transformer.

4. Troubleshooting 5. Care
nThe electrical components of the
box spring reading light operate on
12 V weak current. Any fault, while
inconvenient, is never dangerous.
Check whether:
nthe plug is properly plugged in;
nthere is mains voltage;
nthe small plug of the connecting
and extension power cord is
properly plugged into the
transformer and the light.
nYou never need to replace the LED
lamp. A LED lamp is rated at
around 50,000 burning hours. That
represents approximately 45
years, if the lamp was to be turned
on for 3 hours per day.

6. Auping warranty
The Auping brand name guarantees

materials. Each product is manu-
factured with the utmost care and
meticulously inspected before it leaves
the factory.
All Auping products come with a
standard warranty. This warranty is
issued by the certified Auping dealer
who sold the relevant product and
whose name and address are listed on
the original invoice.
In addition, you have the option
of registering your purchase at
www.auping com/warranty. Following
registration, you can avail yourself of an
extended warranty with the above
referenced dealer, at no cost, for
almost all Auping products. The term
‘total warranty’ hereinafter refers to the
period of the standard and extended
warranty together. The total warranty
period for this Box Spring Reading Light
is 2 years.
The term of the warranty commences
on the date specified on the consumer’s
invoice.
