CAUTION:
Installation, inspection, maintenance and repair work should be carried out
by qualified, suitably trained personnel. Before any work is carried out, the
appliance should be disconnected from the electricity supply. Check regularly
state of: power cord, moving parts, switches, security screws. No parts can be
repaired by the user. Use only original parts and accessories.
Before your first use of b-kitchen Glass Kettle, please read this user guide carefully, it provides important
information, please also keep it for your future reference:
1. This kettle is designed for household use and may only be installed and operated in accordance with
these instructions for use. Do not use the kettle for any purposes other than water boiling.
2. This is a high-power fast boiling device. Do not touch hot surfaces.
3. Do not fill water past the “MAX” mark on the kettle. Otherwise, boiling water may be ejected.
4. Always use the kettle on a flat and firm surface.
5. Please ensure the kettle is switched off before moving it from its power base.
6. Keep the appliance and the supply cord out of the reach of children and animals. They should be
supervised to ensure that they use the appliance properly.
7. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer and those provided with the appliance,
otherwise they could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
8. Do not use it outdoors.
9. Keep it away from sources of humid, heat, or extreme temperature. Avoid strong and direct sunlight.
10. Before plugging into a socket, check whether your voltage corresponds to the rating label of the
appliance. The label is placed on the appliance.
11. All installation, assembly, assistance and maintenance procedures must be performed by qualified
personnel in accordance with current regulations.
12. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put motor unit, cord, or plug in water or other
liquid.
13. Use of single and multiple adapters and/or extensions are not recommended unless necessary, in
accordance with the relevant safety standards, without exceeding neither the power handling capacity
marked on the simple adapter and on the extensions, nor the overload limit marked on the multiple-
adapter.
14. Always unplug the appliance before assembling, disassembling and cleaning.
A. Important safety precautions

1. Safety locking lid: For easy filling, cleaning and storage, the safety locking lid is hinged and can be
opened with a push of the button on handle. Close this lid using a downward pressure to ensure it is
securely locked.
2. Spout and detachable filter: Large opening for easy pouring. The filter will prevent unwanted
particles and use as tea filter. It is easy to remove for cleaning.
3. Water level indicator: Water level must always reach the “MIN” mark (0.5L). Never fill above the
“MAX” mark (1.7L) on the glass to avoid water spill during boiling.
4. Blue power indicator light: It lights up when kettle is heating and goes out when heating is finished.
5. Power base with cord storage: Part of the cable is stowed in the power base. In order to extend the
cable to desired length, simply release it from the clips beneath the power base.
6. Lid release button: Press the lid release button to open the kettle lid for easy filling and cleaning.
7. Handle: Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use handle when moving the kettle.
8. Power On/Off switch: Switch the kettle on by pressing down the I/O switch beneath the handle.

CAUTION! HOT SURFACE!
Be careful! Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle for using, lifting and cleaning.
Remember to remove any packaging material before using for the first time.
Preparation
Before using the kettle for the first time, boil a full volume of water at “MAX” level.
Discard the first filling of boiled water in order to remove any dust and residues from the
manufacturing process to ensure that the interior of the kettle is completely clean.
CAUTION
Never fill above the MAX line. Boiled water will push out of the pouring spout. This can cause
severe injuries and burn. Never fill the kettle with anything other than water.
C. To use the b-kitchen Glass Kettle
Step 1:
Unwrap cord and place power base on a sturdy and flat surface.
Step 2:
Open the kettle lid by pressing the lid release button located on the handle. Lid will
hinge open automatically. (Pic. 1)
Step 3:
Fill with the desired amount of fresh cold water. This kettle has minimum and maximum
indication marks. Never under fill and overfill the kettle. (Pic. 2)
Step 4:
Close the lid using a downward pressure to ensure the safety locking lid is securely
locked.
Step 5:
Place the kettle on its power base. Plug in the power cord to a power socket. (Pic. 3)

Step 6:
Gently press the ON/OFF switch downward to “I” mark. (Pic. 4)
Step 7:
When the water is boiling, the indicator light will turn on and the heating cycle will
begin. (Pic. 5)
Step 8:
When the water is boiled, the kettle and indicator light will turn off automatically.
Step 9:
Lift the kettle by the handle and slowly tilt to pour water from spout into cup. Always
pour boiled water from the kettle slowly and carefully. After pouring, return the kettle
to its upright position slowly.
Step 10:
Before disconnecting plug from socket, always turn off the kettle or lift kettle from
power base. After used, part of the cable can store in the power base for easy storage.

Pause
Stop the boiling process at any time by setting power On/Off switch to “O” mark.
Resume Water Boiling
Press down Power On/Off Switch to “I” mark (may need to wait a few seconds before the
switch can be reset).
Boil-Dry Protection
If the kettle is inadvertently operated when it is empty, Boil-Dry Protection will be activated
automatically.
Remember not to open kettle lid or pour water immediately after boiling. Wait at least 5
seconds after the kettle switches off for the boiling to subside.

CAUTION
Disconnect the power plug before cleaning the appliance. Always disconnect the appliance
from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely before any cleaning operation.
IMPORTANT
Remember not to immerse the kettle or its power base in water.
1. Store the appliance in a dry and ventilated place, away from sources of heat and direct sunlight.
2. Do not heat the glass kettle by heavy objects as it can be damaged.

Wait until the appliance is completely cooled down before cleaning.
2:
To maintain optimum performance, clean the interior of the kettle from time to time to
remove lime scale deposits. This can be achieved by using a cleaner made especially for
glass-body kettles and following the manufacturer’s instructions.
3:
The exterior of the kettle should be kept clean using a damp, soft cloth without additives.
4:
The kettle is provided with a detachable filter in the spout to remove lime scale, etc. If it
becomes clogged, remove and clean under running water.
5:
Do not put the appliance in a dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical connections do not
become damp.
