1. : Turn the unit on or o.

8. Vol+ / Vol-: Increase/decrease the volume level.
9. SNOOZE: Repeat the alarm.
10. ALARM 2: Set or view the settings for Alarm 2.
11. DIMMER: Adjust the brightness.
12. CLOCK: Set or display the clock.
13. MUTE: Mute of resume the sound.

Remote control battery
The remote control comes with a CR2025 3V button cell pre-installed.
First time use
• To activate the battery and use the remote control, pull out the plastic tab
that separates the battery from the contacts inside the compartment.
Battery replacement
• If the remote control unit is no longer working even when it is operated
near the Alarm Clock, you will need to replace the battery with a new
battery of the same type.
• Push in the tab and pull out the battery tray. Remove the old battery.
• Insert a fresh CR2025 battery with the (+) marking facing upwards. Then
push the battery tray with the battery back into the slot.
WARNING!
Keep batteries out of reach of children. Swallowing may
lead to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours due
to internal burns. If swallowed, go straight to a hospital
emergency room. Dispose of used batteries immediately.

Using the remote control
• The remote control has a range of up to 3 metres from the Alarm Clock.
Point the remote control directly towards the sensor at the front of the
Alarm Clock.
• Make sure no obstacles are blocking its path. The remote control will not
operate if its path is blocked.
• Handle the remote control with care. Do not drop, apply shock or step on
the remote control. Do not spill water on the unit.
• Do not use the remote control while simultaneously operating a remote
control unit of any another unit, which may result in interference.
• If the remote control is operated near other products which generate
infrared rays, or if other remote control devices using infrared rays are
used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other
products may operate incorrectly.
• If you do not intend to use the remote control for an extended period of
time (more than a month), remove the battery to prevent possible damage
from battery leakage and corrosion.
Battery precautions
• Do not use any other battery than specified.
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type.
• Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could
cause batteries to short-circuit, leak or explode.
• Do not expose the battery to excessive direct heat such as sunshine, fire
or the like.
• Do not attempt to short-circuit, disassemble or throw batteries into a fire.
• Never recharge a battery unless it is confirmed to be a rechargeable type.
• Dispose of batteries promptly and properly, observing any local
hazardous waste regulations. Do not burn or bury them.

Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts
for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within
this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or
refunded at our discretion, solely at our option with no charge for parts and
labour. The benets conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights
and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for
a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable
loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does

General Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with this
type of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of
re, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual
in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card,
purchase receipt and carton. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the
next owner of the appliance.
Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures
when using an electrical appliance, including the following:
Electrical safety and cord handling
• Voltage: Before plugging in the power adaptor, make sure your outlet
voltage and circuit frequency correspond to the voltage stated on the
product rating label.
• Wall socket: Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral
convenience receptacles as this can result in a risk of re or electric shock.
When the adaptor is plugged into the power supply, make sure the wall
socket is easily accessible so it can be readily unplugged.
• Do not immerse: To protect against re and electric shock, do not immerse
the cord, plug, power adaptor or the product itself in water or other liquid.
• Protect from moisture: Never subject this product to moisture or extreme
temperatures. Do not expose it to dripping or splashing water. Do not use
the product near water (bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub,
swimming pool) or in a damp basement.
• Protect the power cord: Do not kink, bend, squash or damage the cord of
the power adaptor and protect it from sharp edges and heat. Ensure nothing
is placed upon or against the cord. It is always best to have a clear area
from where the cord exits the unit to where it is plugged into a wall outlet.
Run the cord in such a way that there will be no risk of anyone pulling it
inadvertently, tripping over it or stepping on it.
• Damaged cord: If the electric cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied personnel. Contact our
after sales support line in order to avoid a hazard.
• Disconnect: To prevent damage to the product due to lightning strikes and
powerline surges, switch the product o and unplug it from the wall outlet
during lightning storms and when the product is not going to be used for an
extended period of time. Grip the plug when disconnecting, do not pull the
cord.

Usage conditions and restrictions
• Attachments: Do not use attachments that are not recommended by the
product manufacturer or distributor.
• Adjustments: Only use and adjust controls and perform procedures as
specied in this manual. Any other adjustments or procedures may expose
you to danger and void your warranty.
• Installation and use: Improper use or installation may result in the risk of
re, electric shock and/or injury. We assume no liability for any eventual
damages caused by improper use or incorrect handling.
• Usage restriction: This product is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the
product.
Safe usage
• Location: Place the product on a straight, rigid and stable surface, away
from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
• Ventilation: The unit should be situated so that its location or position
does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, do not place
it on a bed, sofa, carpet, rug or similar surface that may block the
ventilation openings. Do not cover the ventilation openings with items
such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc. Do not place it in a built-
in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet. Do not place anything
underneath the product (for example, CDs or magazines).
• Prevent overheating: Place the product in a suciently aerated place,
allowing at least 10cm clearance at the back and top of the product, and
5cm on both sides, to prevent overheating. Do not place the product on top
of another appliance that may cause overheating (for example, a receiver or
amplier).
• Keep away from heat: Do not place the product near heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
• Prevent damage: Do not place the product near other items that may
damage it, such as naked ame sources (lit candles) or objects containing
water (a vase or sh bowl).
• Keep openings clear: Take care that no objects fall and no liquids are
spilled into any openings or vents.

Care and cleaning
• Cleaning: Clean the unit only as recommended in this manual, with a dry,
soft cloth.
• Do not use chemical cleaners: Do not use strong cleaning agents, such
as benzine, thinner or similar substances as these can damage the surface
of the unit.
• Do not open: Do not remove the cover or the back of this product. There
are no user-serviceable parts inside this product.
• Do not repair yourself: Do not attempt to dismantle, open or repair this
product yourself. Do not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods
described in this instruction manual. Service methods not covered in the
operating instructions should be referred to qualied service personnel.
• Service: Contact the after sales support line and arrange a service by
qualied service personnel in the following circumstances:
* The power supply cord or plug of the power adaptor has been damaged.
* Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
* The unit has been exposed to rain.
* The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
* The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate
normally.
• Battery disposal: Dispose of spent or damaged batteries in accordance
with local regulations.

symbol within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert you to the presence
of non-insulated dangerous voltage
within the product’s enclosure that
may be of sufficient magnitude to
constitute a risk of electric shock to
persons.
The exclamation point within an equi-
lateral triangle is intended to alert you
to the presence of important operating
and maintenance (servicing) instruc-
tions in the literature accompanying
the product.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove
the cover (or back).
This unit contains no user-serviceable parts inside.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel only.
