GENERAL SAFETY

PRODUCT SAFETY
The iron should always be turned to “Min” before plugging or unplugging from the mains outlet.
Never pull the cord to disconnect from the mains: instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
Always remove the iron from charging base when lling with water or emptying
DO NOT leave the iron unattended when connected to the mains or on an ironing board
Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam, use caution when you turn a
steam iron upside down there may be hot water in the reservoir
Only use normal tap water or distilled water in this product
DO NOT use perfumed water.
Never direct steam towards persons, pets or electrical systems
Never obstruct the steam holes
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it
is leaking
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed
is stable
Your iron is designed to rest on the soleplate. DO NOT place the iron on an unprotected surface.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging
2. Remove any stickers, protective foil or storage cover from the soleplate
3. Plug the base into the mains supply and charge the iron
4. Your appliance will be ready for normal use once charged
Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
CORDED/CORDLESS IRONING
For cordless ironing the iron should be placed into its base between
ironing items.
When placing the iron into the base, make sure to have a rm grip
on the handle and t it smoothly into the slots. Once placed into the
base the iron will begin to heat to the setting you have selected.
The indicator light on the base will illuminate to show the iron is
heating. It only takes a few seconds for the iron to heat in between
each session of use.
When ironing with the base attached make sure the iron is locked
to the base. To do this slide the locking tab to the locked padlock
position. To unlock simply reverse the procedure, always taking care
if the iron is still hot.
FILLING THE TANK WITH WATER
CAUTION! Before lling the tank with water make sure the
appliance is unplugged
1. Remove the iron from the charging base before lling (or
emptying) with water. Set the steam control to 'O' position in
order to avoid the water leakage.
2. Fill the lling cup with water. Hold the iron in a tilted position
and pour the water into the water tank to the maximum level.
3. Fill the iron with normal tap water when using it
for the rst time
4. For relling, you can also use tap water. However, if the
water is very hard, it is advisable to use distilled water.
5. Do not put vinegar, starch, chemically, descaled water
or de-scaling agents in the water reservoir
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
1. Stand the iron on its end
2. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket
3. Set the temperature control to the correct ironing temperature
4. After the temperature light rst has gone out and has come on again, you may start ironing
5. The temperature light will come on from time to time during ironing
6. If you set the temperature control to a lower setting after ironing at a high temperature, please
allow time for the iron to cool. This is to prevent scorching on your garment.

SPRAY FUNCTION
Press the spray button at any time to spray water on clothes,
as often as required
NOTE: Ensure that there is enough water in the tank to use
the spray function.
During rst use, you may have to pump the spray button
several times to start the spraying function.
USING THE STEAM JET
1. This function provides an extra amount of steam
to remove stubborn creases
2. Turn the temperature control to the position“MAX”. The indicator light turns o when the
required temperature is reached.
3. Press the steam jet button once
4. Wait a few seconds before pressing the steam jet button again
5. When there are stubborn creases usually all creases can be removed within three operations of
the steam jet
STEAM-IRONING
1. Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank
2. Set the required temperature. Water may leak from the sole plate if too low of a temperature
has been selected
3. Once the required temperature has been reached the power indicator light will turn o
4. Increase the steam output by pulling the Steam Button backwards and decrease the output by
pushing the Steam Button forward
5. The supplied brush enables the steam produced to gain deeper access to the material and is
ideal for thicker cloth such as drapes/curtains
IRONING WITHOUT STEAM
Press the steam control button so that it is in the down position. Set a temperature suitable for
your fabric.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
LIMESCALE
If you live in a particularly hard water area, we recommend using bottled or distilled water.
WARNING: Never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into water tank.
AFTER IRONING
1. Disconnect power supply and empty the water left in the water tank
2. Reconnect the power supply and disconnect after indicator
light goes o, this dries the soleplate
3. Let the iron completely cool down, and then wipe akes and
any other deposits on the soleplate with a damp cloth or a
nonabrasive (liquid) cleaner
Clean the upper part of iron with a damp cloth. Always store
the emptied iron horizontally on a stable surface with a cloth
protecting the soleplate.
4. When not in use, store the appliance in a safe, dry place,
out of reach of children
SELF-CLEANING
Set the temperature control to the maximum position, press the self-clean button for about 1
minute, steam will be emitted to clean the steam chamber.
Use this function once every two weeks or so.
ANTI-CALC
1. The Anti-calc function lters some minerals from the water to prevent lime-scale residue build up
in the steam chamber. However if you live in a particularly hard water area, we recommend using
bottled or distilled water.
WARNING: never pour vinegar or other liquid cleaners for eliminating calcium into water tank.
