Thank you for purchasing our Bluetooth Headset HCB86. First
ofall,pleasechecktondeverythinginyourpackageandcare-
fully study the user guide to know the function details. HCB86
is developed by the innovative Bluetooth wireless technology,
enabled to connect the Bluetooth mobile phone designed with
Audio Gateway (HCB18/ HCB21), PDA, desktop and notebook
with the USB Bluetooth Dongle plugged-in, etc. Before using
it,pleaseconrmyourmobilephonecomplieswithBluetooth
V1.1/ V1.2/ V2.0/ V2.1 and supports the Bluetooth Headset or
HandsfreeProle.

4. Charging the Headset
HCB86 comes with a Lithium Polymer battery built-in.

1. Plug the travel charger into the power socket.
2. Plug the end of the travel charger into the power interface
adapter of the Headset.
3. While charging, the indicator will turn red; when charging is
completed,theredindicatorwillshutofforashesred.
Note: Charging time is around 90~120 minutes.
●Forrsttimeuse,makesuretofullyrechargetheHeadsetupto
4 hours. After a long time of not using it (around one month),
while recharging, it takes a while for the indicator to turn red.
●Whilecharging,pleasedonotusetheHeadset.
●PleaseusetheoriginalchargertorechargetheHeadset.
●Whentheindicatorashestheredlight,itmeansthebatteryis
low, please recharge the Headset right away.
●PleaserechargetheHeadsetwithinthetemperaturerangeof-10
℃(+14℉) +45℃(+113℉).
5. Power On/ Off
1. Press and hold the function button for 2~3 seconds, the power

willturnonaftertheindicatorashesthebluelight3times.
2. To turn the power off, press and hold the function button for
2~3secondsuntilyouseetheredindicatorash3times.
Note:
●WhileturningtheHeadseton,youwillhearthe“DuDu”sound
from the receiver. The blue indicator light will ash 5 times,
then 2 times, and after repeating this for 5 times, the indicator
willashthebluelightevery3secondstocomeintoastandby
mode.
●WhiletheHeadsetisturnedon,itwillautomaticallysearchfor
thepaireddevice.Under“ON”modeandwithintheeffective
rangeof10metersfromtheHeadset,theindicatorwillashthe
blue light to indicate that it entered the connecting mode.
●Whenturningtheheadsetoff,youwillhearone“Bi”soundfol-
lowedbytwo“Du”sounds,thentheindicatorwillshutoffafter
ashingtheredlightforafewtimes.
6. Pairing the Headset (or any Bluetooth Device)
You must pair the Headset with your Bluetooth phone or any
BluetoothdevicebeforeyouusetheHeadsetforthersttime.
1. Ensure the Headset is off.
2. Press and hold the function button for 5 seconds until the blue
indicatorlightasheswiththeredindicatorlighttoenterthe
pairing mode.
3. Ensure your mobile phone has the Bluetooth function and

start the Bluetooth new device searching function. Please
follow the instructions of your mobile phone to proceed the
operation.
4. When your mobile phone is in the stage of searching a new
Bluetoothdevice,itwillndHCB86.
5.PleasechooseandconrmHCB86.
6.KeyintheHeadsetPassword“0000”andpressYES.Ifthe
pairingissuccessful,theindicatorturnstoashthebluelight
only. For some mobile phones, after pairing you may have
toselect and conrmHCB86 again tostart the connection.
(Please read your mobile phone manual carefully to take the
right steps.)
7. The Headset is in the standby mode, you can start to receive
and make call.
Note:
●If the pairingis not successful, theHeadset will return to the
standby mode, please repeat the pairing process to try the pair-
ing again.
●Whilepairing,itisbettertokeepthedistancebetweenthemo-
bile phone and Headset around 10 cm to 1m and make sure no
metal objects are between.
●While pairing the Headset withotherBluetoothdevice,when
the device asks for the Password, please key-in “0000”. For
more details, please check the manual of your Bluetooth device
to proceed the operation.

●Eventhoughthefollowingsituationshappen,thepaireddevices
remain pairing.
- The power for one of the devices is off.
- The service for one of the devices is off.
- One of the devices is re-switched on.
7. Pair with 2 Bluetooth phones
After achievement of pairing 1st Bluetooth phone, please repeat
the pairing process, No.6 “Pairing the Headset”, to pair with
2nd Bluetooth phone
8. Operating method: While answering the call from 1st
phone, there comes another call from 2nd phone
1. While answering the call from 1st phone, there comes another
call from 2nd phone, you have to end the call from 1st phone
rstand wait for 3~4sec. to hear theringingfrom headset
receiver then press function button to answer the call from
2nd phone (exception: there are some Bluetooth phones, the
ringing only from mobile phone itself, you can’t hear the ring-
ing from headset). If you use 2 different brand mobile phones
that pair with the same Bluetooth headset, you possibly have
to press answering button on 2nd phone to instead of pressing
function button on headset for answering the call from 2nd
phone while you are on the line of 1st phone.
2. During stand by time, the call from any of both mobile phones
will be connected to Bluetooth headset automatically.

Note: Only one call can be answered by Bluetooth headset at
a time.
Remark :Bluetooth headset doesn’t with holding call function
while you answer the other call.
9. Pair Wearing the Headset
1. According to your preference, adjust the headset on your left
or right ear.
