BEFORE INSTALLING THE BOILER
The boiler must be installed in a boiler house according to the technical re-
quirements and the applicable regulations.
To properly place the boiler, ensure a horizontal surface with the right load
bearing capacity, observe the minimum distances indicated on the gure be-
low (see Figure 2), and ensure the air supply required for continuous burning.
• It is forbidden to install the boiler in any living space (building of
a designated boiler house is
mandatory), because the boiler
would take the oxygen for burn-
ing from the living space, which
might cause an accident if the
air supply is insucient
• The boiler may be installed, com-
missioned by a specialist only
• The boiler must be installed in
compliance with the current-
ly applicable standards and
requirements.
• To provide the appropriate
draught and ensure safe opera-
tion, check the chimney before
installation.
• (A minimum of two chimney
inspections during each heating
season is key to safe boiler operation.)
• Flushing of the old and new heating system, removal of any contamina-
tion might be necessary before boiler installation.
• Any additive (antifreeze) to be added to the heating water must be certi-
ed with the respective manufacturer's declaration of conformity.
• After installation, the mechanic must perform the leakage test of both the
water circuit and the venting of the exhaust product.
Proper and regular boiler cleaning and maintenance is important Inappro-
priate cleaning might lead to accidents and considerably reduces the boiler's
life and eciency.
Always use the supplementary products suitable for your boiler's type, such
as the ue exhaust piles, cleaning tools, adjustable pump etc.
The boiler may be transformed with the written approval of the manufacturer
only.
