In particular, note that it is prohibited to pickup or hold your smartphone in your hand in roadtraffic.uSet the display brightness so that you can adequatelysee important information such as speed and warningsymbols. Incorrectly set display brightness may lead todangerous situations.uThe contact surfaces of the display holder may be-come very hot (>60°C). Allow the contact surfaces toadjust to the ambient temperature before you touchthem. This is particularly important when using a Smart-phoneGrip.uConsult a doctor before using fitness app programs.Fitness apps may cause people to overexert themselvesphysically.uAlways observe local restrictions for using electronicdevices.uAvoid operation near your body for extended periods.uDo not stand your bicycle upside down on its saddleand handlebars if the SmartphoneGrip or its holderprotrude from the handlebars. English – 4AssemblySmartphoneGrip Assembly (seefigureA)Press and hold the release mechanism(4) to position theSmartphoneGrip. Place the upper edge of the Smart-phoneGrip next to the snap-in hook(6) of the displayholder(5)➊. Pull the SmartphoneGrip towards you andpush the SmartphoneGrip onto the display holder➋. Let goof the release mechanism(4).Press the release mechanism(4) while pulling it towardsyou➊ to remove the SmartphoneGrip. Remove the Smart-phoneGrip and let go of the release mechanism(4)➋.Inserting the Removal Blocker (seefigureB)Insert the removal blocker(12) into the adapter tray(16)from below until you hear the removal blocker(12) click intoplace.From this point onwards, you can no longer remove theSmartphoneGrip from the display mount(5) without remov-ing the display mount(5) from the adapter tray(16) byloosening the two fastening screws(11).Note: The removal blocker(12) is not an anti-theft device.Smartphone Assembly (seefigureC)The SmartphoneGrip can hold smartphones in the followingsizes:

The specified dimensions include any phone cases. Smart-phones with folio cases must not be used.The total weight must not exceed 276g.Pull the front retaining bracket(1) forwards➊. Insert yoursmartphone(15) with the long side of the phone positionedagainst the fixed retaining bracket(2)➋. Release the frontretaining bracket and place your smartphone(15) in thecentre of the SmartphoneGrip➌.uBe careful not to pinch your fingers between the movableretaining bracket and the SmartphoneGrip when insertingyour smartphone.Once you have inserted your smartphone, check that thesmartphone cannot come into contact with any hard parts onthe bike even in case of vibrations, as this could cause last-ing damage to the smartphone.Keypad Lock Assembly (seefigureD)To remove the keypad lock(13), unscrew the securingscrew with a hex key (1.5mm)(14)➊ and remove thekeypad lock(13)➋.To insert the keypad lock(13), slide the keypad lock(13)into the provided opening and screw it into place with a hexkey (1.5mm)(14).Note: The keypad lock is not an anti-theft device. Thekeypad lock prevents the SmartphoneGrip from beingquickly removed from the holder. The keypad lock does notaffect the smartphone in any wayNote: Never leave your smartphone unattended in theSmartphoneGrip.OperationStarting OperationPlace your smartphone in the SmartphoneGrip.Start theeBike Flow app to have riding data displayed.Depending on the smartphone's operating sys-tem, theeBike Flow app can be downloadedfree of charge from the Apple App Store andthe Google Play store.Use your smartphone to scan the code in order to downloadtheeBike Flow app.Charging your SmartphoneWhile the smartphone is in the SmartphoneGrip, it can becharged at the same time as displaying riding data. If yoursmartphone has an inductive charging function, you cancharge the smartphone without needing a cable.Inductive ChargingThe charging process starts automatically when you place asmartphone with an inductive charging function in theSmartphoneGrip. The status LED(9) lights up yellow. Whenthe smartphone is fully charged, the status LED(9) will lightup green permanently.The charging voltage is switched off when you remove thesmartphone from the holder.Charging via USBIf your smartphone does not have an inductive chargingfunction, you can charge your smartphone via the USBport(3).
