DO NOT use liquid bleach or other harsh chemicals.
DO NOT use steel wool or abrasive sponges as this can
scratch the surface.
DO NOT submerge the scale.
Avoid pouring water directly into your scale, as water
may become trapped. If this occurs drying me may
exceed 4 hours.
Water drops on the LCD display will not interfere with
your weighing. These drops will dry and disappear.
If the scale displays “ ” or the readings jump aer
washing, then water is sll inside the scale. Simply shake
out the excess water and let your scale dry longer.
By following these washing instrucons, you will experience
shorter drying mes and your scale will provide you with years
of reliable service.
the top right of the LCD, the screen begins to
ash. This means that you are close to the nal
amount of water needed.
❺ Once the Target Weight is reached, the display color
will change from orange to white.
◦Timer connues to count up.
◦Weight reading will show actual weight even if
it is greater than the target weight.
❻ Remove brewing vessel aer brewing is complete.
◦Weight and nal Time reading remains on the
display for ve seconds then return to zero.
◦Scale is now ready for another brew.
Zero (Tare) Funcon
• Zero funcon is disabled under “AUTO” mode.
• Under Manual mode: press the ZERO buon as needed.
Auto-o Seng
• Auto-o funcon is set to 180 seconds by default.
• Auto-o can be set to 60 seconds, 120 seconds, 180
seconds, or disabled manually.
• To change the Auto-o me seng or disable this funcon:
❶Turn o the scale.
❷ Press and hold the ON/OFF buon.
❸ While holding the ON/OFF buon, press the ZERO
buon 4-5 mes quickly unl “180” is shown on the
LCD display.
❹ Release both buons.
❺ Press the ZERO buon to switch between
“0/60/120/180”.
◦If “0” is selected, the Auto-o funcon will be
disabled.
❻ Aer choosing the desired me, press the ON/OFF
buon again.
❼ The display will show “PASS” to conrm this seng.
❽ The scale will turn o automacally.
Note:
◦If “60”, “120”, or “180” is chosen, the scale will
turn o aer the designated number of seconds of
inacvity.
◦If the Auto-o funcon is disabled, the scale will not
shut o on its own.
Please note: To maintain a longer baery life, turn o the scale
by pressing the ON/OFF buon aer each use.
Auto Mode A : (Automac Zero and Timer)
❶ Place brewing vessel on the scale plaorm.
◦Aer 3 seconds, weight reading goes to “0.0”
(Auto-tares).
❷ When the coee bean icon appears in the upper
le of the LCD screen, add coee grounds to the
brewing vessel.
◦Adjust the amount of coee grounds as needed.
❸ Press the RATIO buon.
◦The upper right of the LCD shows the calculated
target weight and the lower display shows zero.
❹ When the kele icon appears, begin adding water to
your brewing vessel.
◦The count-up mer begins automacally.
◦The Upper “Target” rate bar segments appear
at 10 second intervals.
◦The Lower “Actual” rate bar segments appear
as water is added.
◦Pour brewing water at a rate that keeps the
lower and upper bars even.
◦When the weight of the added water reaches
60g less than the calculated amount shown at
◦As the mer counts up, the Upper “Target” rate
bar segments appear at 10 second intervals.
◦As water is added, the Lower “Actual” rate bar
segments appear.
◦Numeric me is displayed in the lower le LCD.
❻ When the weight of the water added reaches 60g

right, the screen begins to ash. This means that you
are close to the nal amount of water needed.
❼ Once the lower display reading reaches the upper
display volume the enre display screen will change
color from orange to white.
❽ Stop adding water to the brewing vessel.
◦If the vessel is removed from the scale weight
in lower right will show a negave reading.
◦Timer will connue. Press the TIMER buon to
stop the mer.
◦Press the TIMER buon again to reset the mer
to zero.
◦Press the ZERO buon to clear the weight
reading and the rao.
Warning Messages
• “ ”: Overload
◦Quickly remove weight from plaorm to protect the
scale.
• “ ”: Unstable
◦Scale is not steady during start up. Please turn o
scale, set on a stable surface and restart scale.
◦Water is inside the scale. Shake out excess water
and let dry.
Washing Instrucons
This scale has been treated with a water-resistant nano-
coang. However, washing the scale under running water is
not recommended. Please follow these instrucons when
washing:
❶ Wash the exterior of the scale with a so, damp cloth
❷ Do not wash scale under running water.
❸ Leave scale to dry on a dish rack with LCD and buons
poinng upward.
Changing Units of Measurement
• Press the UNIT buon to switch between grams (g) and
ounces (oz).
◦Grams (g) is the default unit of measurement.
◦Units cannot be changed during the brewing process.
Changing The Set Rao
❶ Press and hold the RATIO buon for 3 seconds.
◦The rao will display blinking in the upper right of
the LCD.
❷ Press the RATIO buon unl the desired rao is displayed.
◦The default rao is 1:17 (add 1 part coee to 17 parts
water).
◦Scale has 7 pre-set raos: 1:14, 1:15, 1:16, 1:17,
1:18, 1:19, and 1:20
❸ Wait three seconds and the scale will automacally store
the new rao and return to the mode you were in last.
◦Rao cannot be changed once the brewing process
has begun.
Calibraon
❶ While the scale is o, press and hold the ON/OFF buon
and ZERO buon at the same me.
◦The LCD will read “CAL” in the upper right.
❷ Press the ZERO buon again and the LCD will ash
“500.0g”.
❸ Place a 500g calibraon weight onto the center of the
plaorm.
❹ The LCD will read “PASS” then return to the normal
weighing mode.
❻ Calibraon is complete.
