Introduction
Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of
this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are
supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your BUFFALO dealer immediately.
Installation
Fit the Lid
• Slot the lid on top of the appliance.
Note: The lid is hinged in the middle. Lift one half of the lid to access the
container.
Attaching Labels
1. Slide the relevant label into the magnetic label holder.
2. Attach the holder to the side of the appliance.
Note: If the desired label is not included, simply write the name of the product
on the reverse of one of the labels.
Operation
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Fill the outer container with approximately 600ml of water
(MIN / MAX WATERLINE). Do not exceed the MAX
marking.
3. Carefully place the inner container into the appliance.

Note: The inner container must NOT float, even when empty. If the container
floats reduce the amount of water in the outer container.
4. Fill the inner container with hot soup and close the lid.
Note: If necessary, remove any excess water from the outer container.
5. Set the temperature control. The temperature ranges
from 1(lowest) to 10 (highest).
6. The Power light will come on and remain on and the
kettle will begin to heat up.
Note: Kettle is not designed to heat
food from cold.
7. Reduce the temperature to maintain heat levels. To maintain temperature, BUFFALO recommend the
lowest heat setting possible.
8. Use a suitable implement to remove the contents of the kettle. DO NOT tip the kettle to remove the
contents.
9. To turn the appliance Off, set the Temperature Control to ‘0’.
WARNING: Never move or carry the appliance when it is switched on or contains
hot liquid.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean any spilt food on the appliance immediately.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
• The inner container and lid are machine washable.
• Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Inleiding
Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig door. Een correct gebruik en onderhoud van deze
machine waarborgt de beste prestatie van uw Buffalo product.
Verpakkingsinhoud

BUFFALO is trots op de haar productkwaliteit en dienstverlening en controleer de inhoud van de
verpakkingen, tijdens de verpakkingsfase, op functionaliteit en schade.
Mocht u product door transport zijn beschadigd, neem dan onmiddellijk contact op met uw BUFFALO
dealer.
Installatie
De deksel plaatsen
• Plaats de deksel op het apparaat.
Opmerking: indien het gewenste label niet is meegeleverd, schrijft u de naam
van het product op de achterzijde van één van de labels.
Labels aanbrengen
1. Schuif het relevante label in de magnetische labelhouder.
2. Klik de houder op de zijkant van het apparaat.
Opmerking: indien het gewenste label niet is meegeleverd, schrijft u de naam

Bediening
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Steek de steker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
Vul de buitenpan met circa 600ml water (MIN / MAX
WATERLINE). Overschrijd de MAX markering niet.
3. Plaats de binnenpan voorzichtig in het apparaat.

Opmerking: de binnenpan mag NIET drijven, ook niet wanneer deze leeg is.
Drijft de binnenpan haal dan water uit de buitenpan.
4. Vul de binnenpan met soep en sluit de deksel.
Opmerking: indien nodig, verwijder het overvloedige water uit de buitenpan.
5. Stel de temperatuur in. Het temperatuurbereik gaat
van 1(laagste) tot 10 (hoogste).
6. Het Voedingslicht zal ingeschakeld worden en
ingeschakeld blijven en de ketel zal beginnen
opwarmen.
Opmerking: Waterkoker is niet
ontworpen om koud te verhitten.
7. Verlaag de temperatuur om warmteniveaus te behouden. Om de temperatuur te behouden, raadt
BUFFALO de laagst mogelijk instelling aan.
8. Gebruik een geschikt hulpmiddel om de inhoud uit de ketel te scheppen. Ketel NIET omkiepen om
inhoud te verwijderen.
9. Om het apparaat Off (uit) te schakelen zet u de temperatuurregelaar op ‘0’.
WAARSCHUWING: apparaat NIET verplaatsen of vervoeren wanneer in gebruik
of met hete vloeistof.
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd de stroomvoorziening uit te schakelen.
• Gemorst etenswaar op het apparaat onmiddellijk reinigen.
• Gebruik zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen.
• De binnenpan en deksel kunnen in een vaatmachine worden gewassen.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.

Elektrische bedrading
Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.
De bedrading van dit apparaat is als volgt:
• Stroomkabel (bruin) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met L
• Neutraalkabel (blauw) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met N
• Aardekabel (groen/geel) naar de aansluitklem gemarkeerd met E
Dit apparaat moet worden geaard.
Bij twijfels raadpleeg een vakkundige elektricien.
De elektrische isolatiepunten mogen niet worden geblokkeerd. In geval van een nooduitschakeling
moeten de isolatiepunten direct toegankelijk zijn.

Het WEEE-logo op dit product of bijbehorende documentatie geeft aan dat het product
niet onder huisvuil valt en als zodanig ook niet mag worden verwerkt. Ter preventie
van mogelijke gevaren voor de gezondheid van personen en/of voor het milieu,
dient men dit product in overeenstemming met het voorgeschreven en milieuveilige
recyclingproces als afval te verwerken. Raadpleeg uw productleverancier of uw plaatselijk
afvalverwerkingsbedrijf voor meer informatie over de juiste afvalverwerking van dit
