1. Safety instructions
This product has been designed with the utmost safety in mind.
However, incorrect use may lead to electric shock or fi re. This is
why users should observe the following instructions when using
this device.
This device uses a semiconductor unit and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not disassemble this device, otherwise
you are exposed to the risk of electric shock. If any damage
to this product occurs, please have this product repaired by a
qualifi ed service technician.
1.1 Power
Power supply of this unit must be match the serial plate data.
1.2 Heat source
Keep this unit out of heat sources like stove or direct sunlight.
1.3 Cleaning
Prior to cleaning, please disconnect power fi rst. For cleaning,
don’t use liquid detergents or caustic liquids - just clean the unit
with a soft cloth.
1.4 Heavy objects
Do not place heavy objects on the unit, otherwise damage
might occur.
1.5 Connecting other devices
Before connecting other devices to this unit, please make sure
to disconnect power. Otherwise damage to the unit or personal
injury might occur.
1.6 Faults to be repaired
If any of the following problems occurs, please disconnect
power to the unit and contact a qualifi ed service technician.
A. Power cord or plug is damaged.
B. Liquids or other foreign objects have penetrated inside the
product.
C. If the unit does not work, even though you operate it
according to the instructions, do not press any buttons other
than those listed. Otherwise, damage to this unit may occur
along with a more demanding repair.
D. This unit has fallen on the ground from a big height.
E. Burns can be smelled from the product inside.

1.7 Maintenance
If you don’t have enough technical knowledge necessary to
maintain this unit, don’t attempt to repair it by yourself. By
removing the cover, you are exposed to a risk of electric shock.
If needed, please contact a qualifi ed service technician.
1.8 Replacement of parts
If you need to replace any part of this unit, ask your service
technician to make a replacement for equal spare part models.
If other spare part models are used for replacement, serious
damage, electric shock or shortening the unit’s lifetime may
occur.
1.9 Safety check
When done with the maintenance, ask your service technician
to perform an on-site safety check to make sure that the unit’s
operation is safe.
Remark:
Before using this product, read these instructions carefully
and keep it well for future use.

4. Putting into Operation
Before fi rst use, be sure to read the safety instructions
contained in this user's manual carefully.
Before fi rst use, please charge the BT speaker to a maximum
level. Hold down the power On button to turn on the BT
speaker. Turning on/off is indicated by a sound signal. To turn
the BT speaker off , hold down the power On button.
Warning: After a longer period of inactivity, the appliance will
turns itself off .
5. Pairing devices via Bluetooth
Turn on the BT speaker and search for its Bluetooth name
“BBS 9900” in the device you want to pair and start the pairing
process. If you are requested to enter a pairing code while your
device and the BT speaker are pairing, use the code: “0000”.
To disconnect a paired device, end the pairing session on your
mobile device.
Remark: To ensure a stable Bluetooth connection, make sure
that the distance between the BT speaker and your connected
device is kept within 10 meters.
Warning: Some connected devices support common volume
setting. If some of the connected devices do not support this
feature, the volume setting will operate separately on each
device.
6. TWS button, EQ mode switching
TWS function
If you purchase a second BT speaker (“BBS 9900”), you can
connect both BT speakers to each other for optimal stereo
sound. First, make sure your mobile device is not connected
to any BT speaker. Turn on both BT speakers, the speakers
will automatically connect to TWS mode. If the BT speakers
do not connect to each other, press and hold the TWS button
on both BT speakers. Wait until the speakers are automatically
connected together. The TWS LED indicator shows the status
of the search (orange dashed indication) and the status of the
successful connection (orange solid indication). Successful
pairing will also be accompanied by an acoustic “true wireless
paird” signal.
Changing the volume level using the volume control buttons will
take eff ect automatically on both paired BT speakers. Pressing
and holding the Power On button on one of the speakers will
turn both paired speakers off .
Remark: If the BT speakers do not pair successfully, switch
both BT speakers off and then on and repeat the pairing
procedure.
Warning: The TWS function is only available in the Bluetooth
mode. It is not possible to pair the device with another type
of BT speaker with TWS function, even within a re-edition of
products with a diff erent Bluetooth name.

EQ function
There are 3 preset equalizer modes. Changing the equalizer is
done with a short press of a button. Each equalizer mode will be
accompanied by a signal tone.
7. Audio AUX IN
The BT speaker is equipped with a 3.5mm jack. Your device
can be connected to the BT speaker via the supplied audio
cable. First connect the audio plug to your device and then to
the BT speaker’s jack.
Caution: before connecting your device and BT speaker, make
sure that the output signal from your device is at the minimum
level (minimum output volume). This will prevent the BT speaker
from damage. When the audio cable is connected, the BT
speaker does not meet the water ingression protection class.
Remark: In this mode, not all functions of the BT speaker are
available. The Bluetooth function is not active if the audio jack is
connected to the BT speaker.
8. Play/Pause button
Press the Play/Pause button to start or pause music playback
during Bluetooth connection or while a USB memory media is
inserted.
9. Light eff ects
The BT loudspeaker is equipped with lighting eff ects in the area
of passive light emitters. Switching on/off or change of the light
eff ect is done by double short pressing the Play/Pause button.
10. Bluetooth button and incoming call control
Incoming calls:
An incoming call to a paired Bluetooth connected device will
be accompanied by the caller's dial tone and will interrupt
the playing music. Short press the button to pick up / end the
incoming call. To reject the incoming call, double-press the
button.
Remark: Microphone reception in the BT speaker may be
attenuated due to the waterproof nature of the device. To
improve the reception, please speak loud and in the vicinity of
the BT speaker.
Disconnect your mobile device:
Press and hold the button to end Bluetooth transmission. The
BT speaker disconnects from the mobile device.

11. Volume and track playback control
To control the BT speaker’s volume (+/- buttons), use the
buttons on the BT speaker. During music playback, you can
press and hold the “+” button to jump to the next track playback.
To select the previous track, press and hold the “−” button.
If the battery level drops below 20%, the sound level will be
reduced to extend the battery life. Charge the BT speaker.
12. To disable BT speaker notifi cation and
messages
By pressing and holding the “+” a “-” buttons together for 5
seconds, you can turn the BT speaker's notifi cation and alert
messages off or on. When turned off and on, the BT speaker
will remember the last selected mode.
Caution: in the off state, no messages notifying about the
BT speaker state will be shown. Charge the BT speaker as a
preventive measure. Avoid using the sound at a maximum level.
The set off /on function of BT speaker notifi cations and alerts is
not transmitted to the other BT speaker in TWS mode.
13. USB-A port
Playing music:
Insert the USB storage disc with audio content in the USB
slot. Press the on/off button briefl y to switch to the “USB
mode”. Music from the connected storage will start playing
automatically. Upload your music to the storage in the order in
which it will be played by the BT speaker.
Warning: Due to a number of devices on the market,
compatibility and playback support are not guaranteed for all
media. The memory devices you want to connect should be
tested in advance and/or formatted as FAT32. The playback of
protected media, fi les or content stored inside them may fail.
While the USB storage is connected, the speaker does not
meet the water ingression protection class.
Power bank feature:
The BT speaker can be also used as a Power bank to charge
another portable devices. Lift the protective cover of the sockets
at the BT speaker’s rear and connect your portable device’s
charging cable to the USB port. The charging will take place
automatically as long as the BT speaker is turned on. To enable
the Power bank feature on the BT speaker in the off state, press
the On button briefl y. Once the charging process is complete in
the BT speaker off state, briefl y press the power button again to
turn off the power bank function.
Warning: The power bank function does not primarily serve as
the main source of charging mobile devices. Fast charging of
modern devices is not supported.

14. BT speaker reset
To reset the BT speaker, press and hold the power button for 10
seconds until the Bluetooth LED indicator goes off . Then turn on
the BT speaker.
RECOMMENDATION: If there is an unexpected problem with
the BT speaker connection or function. reset the BT speaker.
15. Charging the BT speaker
A charged battery provides power for several hours of operation
at normal volume levels. A high volume consumes more battery
power; therefore, we recommend listening at normal volume
levels. To charge the BT speaker, please connect the charging
adapter to the mains and then to the BT speaker. The battery
status indicator will fl ash blue during charging. A low battery
level will be indicated by an audible alert and a fl ashing LED
indicator with the music playback volume being reduced at the
same time.

Warning: For charging, use only the original accessories
supplied with the appliance. To achieve the maximum battery
lifetime, it is best not to start charging until the low battery
audible signal is output. Charge continuously until fully charged.
If the battery life is very short, the battery life is exhausted
and we recommend that you have the battery replaced by an
authorised service center.
Recommendation: If the unit is not to be used for an extended
period of time, we recommend to fully charge the battery once
every two to three months. We recommend to store the unit
with a the battery charged to prevent irreparable damage to the
battery (loss of capacity).
16. Ingression protection (IPX7)
The unit is resistant against water thus allowing you to listen
to your music in bath, shower, on the beach or by the pool.
IPX7 water resistance guarantees the unit’s function with slight
splashing or immersing in water 1 m deep for up to 30 minutes.
Full immersion is not recommended due to possible signal loss
for playback sound transmission.
Warning: Always remember to seal the BT speaker inputs (No.
12–14 in the picture “BT speaker description”) with the original
gasket and make sure that the gasket is not damaged. Never
charge the device during possible contact with liquids. The
unit is designed for contact with clean water only without any
additives. Avoid exposing the unit to contaminated or industrially
treated fl uids (such as lemonade, sea/salt water, oils, etc.).
