Using a 9/16” ratchet, tighten all 3/8”x 3-½” Carriage Bolts (F) and 3/8” K-Locknuts (E) on all square tubing. Using 7/16” ratchet, tighten all
1/4” x 3/4” Hex Cap Screws (H) and 1/4” K-locknuts (G) on corner braces (See image A above). Using a 7/16” ratchet, tighten all 1/4” x 3/4” Hex
Cap and 1/4” K-Locknuts (See image B above).
Using a 7/16” ratchet, tighten all 1/4”x 3/4” Hex Cap and 1/4”
K-Locknuts (See image above).

For 4’x8’ Docks add Corner Braces (D) on a 45˚ angle
between Truss (A) and Truss (B). For 8x8 Docks add Corner
Braces (D) on a 45˚ angle between Truss (B) and Truss (B).
Insert 1/4”x 3/4” Hex Cap Screw (H) into existing holes and tighten with 1/4” K-locknut (G). Hand tighten only.

Place joist into the frame. For 4x8 Dock, place a 47”
long joist(M). For 8x8 Dock place a 95” long joist(N).
The procedure for installing joists is the same for 4x8 and 8x8 frames.
The only dierence are the number of joists added to the bottom of
the frame. The 4x8 dock receives 2 joists and the 8x8 receives 5 joists.
For 4x8 Docks measure 24 ¼”from the edge of the joist to the outside of the truss frame
and position truss here. This will ensure that there is a structure to mount the oat to.
Use vice grips or a clamp to hold the joist against the truss frame.

Place the bottom joist. For 4x8 & 8x8 use 95” long joists(N).
For 4x8 Docks, starting at the edge of the small truss measure and mark 16” to the centre of the truss (See image above). For a 8x8 dock place
the initial joist under the pre-drilled holes spaced 16”. PLEASE NOTE: Keep joists oriented in the correct direction as in Step 17.

Ensuring the oat is secure (use clamps to keep oat in position if necessary). Use a magic marker to create a mark between the slots of
the oat onto the truss frame. Using the reference above mark o every point shown.

Using the marks on the truss frame created in step 25 as your location guide drill holes on each mark. PLEASE NOTE: It may be necessary
to remove the oat to drill depending on the clearance of your drill. Be careful not to drill too closely to any joist screws as it will interfere
with assembly of oats to dock.
