INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar el

aparato. Guarde este manualpara futuras referencias o nuevos

usuarios.

- Este aparato está diseñado exclusivamente para uso

doméstico quedando excluido su uso en bares, restaurantes,

granjas, hoteles, moteles y ocinas.

- Este aparato puede ser usado por niños a partir de 8 años

y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales

reducidas, o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento, si se

les ha dado la supervisión o formación apropiadas respecto

al uso del aparato de una manera segura y comprenden los

peligros que implica. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.

La limpieza y el mantenimiento no deben ser realizados por

niños sin supervisión.

- Mantenga la plancha y su cable fuera del alcance de los

niños menores de 8 años cuando el aparato esté conectado

a una toma de corriente o cuando esté enfriándose.

- No deje el aparato sin supervisión mientras esté caliente,

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the appliance, read the following instructions

carefully. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or

new users.

- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not

intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels,

and oces.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children must not playwith the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by

children without supervision.

- Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children under 8

years of age when the appliance is plugged into a mains

socket or when it is cooling down.

- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is hot, plugged

into an outlet, or on the ironing board.

- Unplug the appliance from the mains before lling or

emptying the water tank.

- The lling opening must not be open during use.

- Place and use the appliance on a at, stable, dry, and heat-

resistant surface. Make sure the surface is stable.

- Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped, shows

visible damage, or is leaking.

- This symbol means “caution, hot surface”. The

accessible surfaces of the appliance may reach high

temperatures during operation. Be careful not to

burn yourself. Do not touch hot surfaces during operation or

immediately after.

- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the

power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ocial

Cecotec Service Centre or similarly qualied personnel to

avoid hazards.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage

stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall

outlet is earthed.

- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cable. Protect

it from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allowthe cable

to touch hot surfaces. Do not let the cable hang over the

edge of the working surface or worktop.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other part of the

appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical

connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before

handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- Avoid contact with the steam emitted by the appliance.

Steam temperature is very high and can cause burns and

other damage.

- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an

external timer or separate remote-control system.

- Switch o and unplug the appliance when not in use and

before cleaning it. Pull from the plug, not the cable, to

disconnect it from the outlet.

- Keeping the iron at maximum temperature for too long may

cause discolouration, which will not aect the performance

of the appliance.

- Do not try to repair the device by yourself. Contact the ocial

Cecotec Technical Support Service for advice.

Cecotec takes no responsibility for any damage caused by

misuse of the machine. Any misuse or non-compliance with

these instructions voids the warranty and Cecotec's liability.

- Cet appareil est conçu pour un usage domestique uniquement

et ne doit pas être utilisé dans les bars, restaurants, fermes,

hôtels, motels et bureaux.

- Cet appareilpeut être utilisé par des enfants de 8 ans et plus

et par des personnes aux capacités physiques, mentales ou

sensorielles réduites, ou sans expérience ni connaissances

s'ils sont surveillés et/ou ont reçu les informations

nécessaires à l’utilisation correcte de l’appareil et qu’ils

ont bien compris les risques qu’il implique. Empêchez les

enfants de jouer avec le produit. Le nettoyage et l’entretien

ne doivent pas être menés à terme par des enfants.

- Maintenez le fer à repasser et son câble hors de portée des

enfants de moins de 8 ans lorsqu'il est branché ou en train

de refroidir.

- Ne laissez pas l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est

chaud, branché ou sur la table de repassage.

- Débranchez l’appareil de la prise avant de remplir ou de

vider le réservoir d'eau.

- L'orice de remplissage ne doit pas être ouvert pendant

l'utilisation.

- Placez l’appareil sur une surface sèche, stable, plate et

résistante à la chaleur. Assurez-vous que la surface est

stable.

- Ne mettez pas l’appareil en fonctionnement s’il est tombé,

s’il montre des dommages visibles ou s’il goutte.

- Ce symbole signie: attention! Surface chaude. Les

surfaces accessibles de l’appareil pourraient

fonctionnement. Faites attention à ne pas vos brûler! Ne

touchez pas les surfaces chaudes lorsque l’appareil est en

est endommagé, il doit être substitué par le Service Après-

éviter des dangers.

- Assurez-vous que le voltage du réseau coïncide avec le

voltage spécié sur l’étiquette de classication de l’appareil

et que la prise possède une connexion à terre.

- Ne tordez pas, ne pliez pas, n’étirez pas et n’abîmez pas le

câble d’alimentation. Protégez-le des bords pointus et des

sources de chaleur. Ne laissez pas le câble toucher des

surfaces chaudes. Ne laissez pas le câble dépasser de la

surface de travail ou du plan de travail.

- Ne submergez ni le câble, ni la che ni aucune autre partie

de l’appareil dans de l’eau ni dans aucun autre liquide, ni

n’exposez les connexions électriques à l’eau. Assurez-vous

d’avoir les mains complètement sèches avant de toucher la

che ou d’allumer l’appareil.

- Évitez d’entrer en contact avec la vapeur générée par

l’appareil. La température de la vapeur peut être très élevée

et provoquer des brûlures et autres dommages.

- Cet appareiln’a pas été conçu pourfonctionner à travers des

minuteries ou systèmes de contrôle à distance externes.

- Éteignez et débranchez l’appareil de la prise de courant

lorsque personne ne l’utilise et laissez-le refroidir avant de

le nettoyer. Tirez sur la che pour le débrancher ; ne tirez pas

sur le câble.

- Maintenir le fer à une température maximale pendant

longtemps pourrait provoquer sa décoloration, ce qui
