INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

Lea las siguientes instrucciones atentamente antes de usar

el producto. Guarde este manual para futuras referencias o

nuevos usuarios.

- Asegúrese de que el voltaje de red coincida con el voltaje

especicado en la etiqueta de clasicación del producto y de

que el enchufe tenga toma de tierra.

- No deje el aparato sin supervisión mientras esté caliente,

conectado o en la tabla de planchado.

- Coloque y apoye el dispositivo sobre una supercie resistente

al calor, plana y estable.

- PRECAUCIÓN: supercie caliente. La temperatura de

las supercies accesibles puede ser elevada cuando

el aparato está funcionando.

- No ponga el dispositivo en funcionamiento si se ha caído, si

muestra daños visibles o si gotea.

- No tire del cable de alimentación para desconectar o cambiar

el dispositivo de sitio, utilice el enchufe en su lugar.

- No retuerza, doble, estire o dañe el cable de alimentación.

Protéjalo de bordes alados y fuentes de calor. No permita

que el cable toque supercies calientes. No deje que el

cable asome sobre el borde de la supercie de trabajo o la

encimera.

- No sumerja el cable, el enchufe o cualquier otra parte del

producto en agua o cualquier otro líquido, ni exponga las

conexiones eléctricas al agua. Asegúrese de que tiene las

- Evite entrar en contacto con el vapor generado por la

plancha. La temperatura del vapor es muy alta y puede

causar quemaduras y otros daños.

- Desconecte la plancha de la toma de corriente al rellenar o

vaciar el agua y cuando no esté siendo utilizada.

- La abertura de llenado de agua no debe estar abierta cuando

se use la plancha.

- Desenchufe el producto inmediatamente si observa fuego o

humo.

- No deje el producto sin supervisión mientras esté en uso.

Desenchúfelo de la fuente de alimentación cuando acabe de

usarlo o cuando abandone la habitación.

- El producto no debe estar conectado cuando llene o vacíe el

depósito de agua.

- El tapón del depósito de agua no debe estar abierto cuando

la plancha esté encendida.

- Este aparato está diseñado exclusivamente para uso

doméstico quedando excluido su uso en bares, restaurantes,

granjas, hoteles, moteles y ocinas.

- Este producto está diseñado para planchar textiles. No es

apropiado para usos comerciales o industriales. No lo use

en exteriores. Mantener la plancha a máxima temperatura

durante mucho tiempo podría causar una decoloración de

esta que no afectará a su funcionamiento.

- No intente reparar el producto por sí mismo. Contacte con el

Servicio de Asistencia Técnica ocial de Cecotec.

- La limpieza y elmantenimiento del producto ha de realizarse

de acuerdo con este manual de instrucciones, para asegurar

el correcto funcionamiento de este. Apague y desenchufe el

producto antes de moverlo o limpiarlo. Deje que se enfríe

completamente antes de limpiarlo o guardarlo.

- Guarde el producto y su manual de instrucciones en un

acepta ninguna responsabilidad sobre daños o lesiones que

- Este producto puede ser usado por niños a partir de 8 años

y personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales

reducidas, o con falta de experiencia y conocimiento si están

supervisados o han recibido instrucción concerniente al uso

del aparato de una forma segura y entienden los riesgos que

este implica. La limpieza y el mantenimiento de usuario no

deben ser realizados por niños/as sin supervisión.

- Supervise a los niños para asegurarse de que no jueguen

con el producto. Es necesario dar una supervisión estricta si

el producto está siendo usado por o cerca de niños.

- Mantenga el cable yel aparato fuera del alcance de los niños

menores de 8 años cuando esté enchufado o enfriándose.

- Toda nuestra gama de planchas pasa un control de calidad

antes de ser comerzializada. En dichas pruebas se realiza

un llenado del depósito de agua donde se comprueba la

estanqueidad y el correcto funcionamiento del equipo.

- Una vez realizada la prueba se procede al vaciado y secado

del depósito, pero puede quedar algún resto de agua en su

interior.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product.

Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage

stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall

outlet is grounded.

- Do not leave the iron unattended while hot, plugged in, or on

an ironing board.

- Place the device on a at, even, and heat-resistant surface.

- CAUTION: hot surface. Accessible surfaces may

reach high temperatures during operation.

- Do not operate the appliance if it has been

dropped, if it shows visible signs of damage, or if it leaks.

- Do not pull on the power cord when unplugging or moving

the device, pull on the plug instead.

- Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it

from sharp edges and heat sources. Do not allow it to touch

hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the

working surface or worktop.

- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part

of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose

electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are

dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the

cord is damaged, it must be repaired by the ocial Technical

Support Service of Cecotec to avoid any type of danger.

- Avoid contact with the steam generated by the iron. Steam

temperature is very high and can cause burns and other

damage.

- Disconnect the iron from the power supply when lling or

emptying water, or when not in use.

- The water lling opening should not be open when you use

the iron.

- Unplug the appliance immediately if re or smoke is

observed.

- Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug

it from the power supply when you nish using it and before

leaving the room.

- The appliance must not be plugged in when lling or

emptying the water tank.

- The tank cap must not be open when the appliance is

switched on.

- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not

intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels,

and oces.

- This device is designed to iron fabrics. It is not suitable for

commercial or industrial use. Do not use outdoors. Keeping

the iron at maximum temperature for too long may cause

discolouration, which will not aect the performance of the

appliance.

- Do not try to repair the product by yourself. Contact the

ocial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

- To ensure the correct operation of the device, cleaning

and maintenance tasks must be carried out according to

this instruction manual. Turn o and unplug the appliance

before moving and cleaning it. Allow it to completely cool

down before cleaning or storing it.

- Store the appliance and its instruction manual in a safe and

dry place when not in use. Cecotec takes no responsibility

for any damage caused by misuse of the appliance. Any

misuse or non-compliance with these instructions voids the

warranty and Cecotec’s liability.

- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above,

and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, as long as

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Cleaning and maintenance tasks should

not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- Supervise children to prevent them from playing with

the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the

appliance is being used by or near children.

- Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of

children under the age of 8 when it is plugged in or cooling

down.

Warning

- All our ironing range products have undergone quality

control tests before their commercialisation. These tests

consist of lling the water tank to check tightness and to

ensure the correct operation of the device.

- Once the test has been carried out, the tank is emptied

and dried, but there is a slight probability that water could

remain inside it.

Veuillez lire les instructions suivantes avec attention avant

- Assurez-vous que le voltage du réseau coïncide avec le

voltage spécié sur l’étiquette de classication de l’appareil

et que la prise possède une connexion à terre.

- Ne laissez pas le produit sans surveillance lorsqu’il est

chaud, branché ou sur la table de repassage.

- Placez l’appareil sur une surface plate, stable et résistante

à la chaleur.

- ATTENTION : surface chaude. La température des

surfaces accessibles peut être élevée lorsque

l’appareil est en fonctionnement.

- Ne mettez pas l’appareil en fonctionnement s’il est tombé,

- Ne submergez ni le câble, ni la prise ni aucune autre partie

du produit dans de l’eau ni dans aucun autre liquide, ni

n’exposez les connexions électriques à l’eau. Assurez-vous

d’avoir les mains complètement sèches avant de toucher la

prise ou d’allumer l’appareil.

- Inspectez le câble d’alimentation régulièrement pour

rechercher des dommages visibles. Si le câble présente des
