Showering
On hot days with strong sunlight thetemperature of thewater in theshower can
reach 60°C. For safety reasons, themixer lever should therefore always be opened when
it is set to cold (marked in blue on themixer lever) before gradually mixing in hot water
(marked in red on themixer lever).
The shower must be connected to agarden hose with thewater turned on in order for
it to work.
1. Set thewater to cold before switching theshower on.
2. Turn thelever slowly towards thehot setting until you reach thedesired temperature.
Note:
• If theshower has not been used for two days, it should be turned on fully for two
minutes to let any stagnant water run out. In hot environments stagnant water is
abreeding ground for bacteria that can be harmful to your health.
• If theshower has not been used for more than three days, it should be completely
drained and filled with fresh water.
• Water might continue to drip from theshower head for up to aminute after theshower
has been turned off.
• The foot washer tap only supplies cold water.
Care and maintenance
• Clean theexterior of theshower by wiping it with adamp cloth. Use only mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• At theend of theseason:
- Switch off and disconnect thegarden hose from thewater inlet (7).
- Lift themixer lever (4) fully to open thewater valve and turn thewater on.
