General safety instructions
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theappliance in asafe way
and if they understand thehazards involved.
• Children shall not play with theappliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
• Warning: Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage, refer to
therating plate on theproduct.
• Theproduct must not be modified in anyway.
• Theproduct can become very hot during use and causeburns. Special care
must be taken if theproduct is used in thesame room as young children,
aged or infirm persons.
• Warning: Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse theproduct if
themains lead or plug is damaged.
• If themains lead has been damaged, it must only be replaced by themanufacturer,
authorised service facility or qualified tradesman. Thisis to prevent therisk of
electric shock orfire. Donot try to repair theproduct yourself in anyway.
• Note: Theproduct is only designed for domestic use or under similar conditions
suchas:
- In staff facilities such as changing rooms or cloakrooms.
- In holiday homes and chalets.
- By guests in hotel rooms and other forms of residency.
