Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save it for
future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any necessary
changes made to technicaldata. In theevent of technical problems or other queries,

Safety
• The product must only be plugged into to anearthed 230 V,
50 Hz power outlet.
• Never immerse theproduct, themains lead or plug in water or
other liquid.
• Never use theproduct if it, themains lead or plug is damaged
or malfunctioning.
• Never leave theproduct unattended while it is switchedon.
• Do not use any accessories other than those provided with
theproduct.
• Never use theproduct in conjunction with atimer or other
timer-controlled equipment.
• Never use theproduct if it has been damaged in anyway.
• It is not recommended that theproduct be used with
anextension lead or trailing socket.
However, if you have no choice:
- ensure that theextension lead is earthed and designed
for this purpose.
- theextension lead should be kept out of reach of
children andpets.
• Do not place themains lead where it can be damaged by hot
surfaces, sharp edges or be crushed.
• Inspect themains lead regularly for signs of damage. Ne-
veruse theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• The product may be used by children aged 8 or over under
adult supervision. Theproduct may be used by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons
with alack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise
their safety, provided they have been instructed in thesafe
operation of theproduct and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Keep children under supervision when theproduct is beingused.
• Cleaning and user maintenance may be carried out by children
with adult supervision.
• Disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by unplugging
it from thewall socket. Makesure that thewall socket and
plug are easily accessible.
• Never use themains lead if your hands are moist orwet.
• Never try to open theproduct, repair, dismantle or modify it in
anyway.
• Repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians
and only using genuine spareparts.

Buttons and functions
[ ON/OFF ] Pressing this button selects either ice making mode or standby mode
- When in OFF or standby mode, the “Power” indicator light will flash
- When in ON or ice making mode, the “Power” indicator light
shines steadily
[ SELECT ] Pressing this button selects the mode:
“S” small ice cubes
“L” large ice cubes
“CLEAN” When this light comes on, theice maker needs to be cleaned,
refer to theCare and maintenance section
“ICE FULL” When this light comes on, theice basket is full
“ADD WATER” When this light comes on thewater tank isempty.
Fillthewater tank and press [ON/OFF] to start making iceagain.
Placement
• Unpack thebox and check that none of theparts is missing or damaged.
• The ice maker must not be tilted more than 45° during transport. Tilting theice
maker too much or turning it upside down could damage thecompressor.
• The ice maker should be placed on afirm, level surface capable of supporting its
weight.
• Make sure that theice maker is not placed near any flammable materials or objects.
• Place theice maker where there is no risk of people tripping over its mainslead.
• Do not place theice maker where it could fall into water or other liquid.
• Once it has been moved to anew location, theice maker should be left unplugged
for at least twohours.

Attaching thehandle
1. Grip both sides of thehandle and carefully pull them outwards.
2. Align theplugs on theends of thehandle with thenotches in thesides of
theicemaker.
3. Make sure that the handle is properly attached.
Instructions for use
• Make sure that thedrain plug is fitted before using themachine.
• Only use normal clean drinking water with atemperature of 8–25 °C in theicemaker.
1. Plug theice maker into awall socket.
2. Open thelid, remove theice basket and fill thewater tank with thedesired
amount ofwater.
3. Make sure that thewater level in thetank does not exceed
themaximummark.
4. Refit theice basket and close thelid.
5. Preset [SELECT] to choose thesize of theice cubes, “S” for small and “L”
for large pieces ofice.
6. Press [ON/OFF] to start theice making process.

Care and maintenance
It is recommended that theice maker be cleaned everyweek.
1. Stop theice making process by pressing [ ON/OFF].
2. Unplug themains lead from thewall socket.
3. If there is any water in theice catcher, push theice catcher backwards.
4. Note: Never clean or touch theevaporator with yourhands!
5. Move theice maker so that thefront
edge is protruding 60 mm over
theedge of thesurface upon which
themachine is standing.
6. Remove thedrain plug to empty
theice maker of anywater.
7. Refit thedrain plug, making sure that
it is seated properly.
8. Plug theice maker into awall socket.
9. Fill thewater tank with clean water and press [SELECT] until the “CLEAN”
light comes on and the “POWER” light flashes.
10. Press [ON/OFF]. Thecleaning process will start and last for approx.
sixminutes. Theice maker will then enter standbymode.
11. Remove thedrain plug to empty thewater out of theicemaker.
12. Remove theice basket and wipe theinterior and exterior of theice
maker clean using adampcloth. Washtheice scoop and theice basket.
Uselukewarm water and amild detergent or washing-up liquid, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
13. Follow cleaning steps 1–6.
• Unplug theice maker, drain any water out and let it air dry before putting it away
for storage.
• The ice maker should be stored in adry, dust-free environment out of
children’sreach.

Troubleshooting guide
“ADD WATER” • Make sure that there is water in thewatertank.
• Check that thefilter at thebottom of thewater
tank is not clogged.
• Clean theice maker, refer to the Care and main-
tenance section.
“ICE FULL” • Is theice basketfull?
• The IR diodes may be dirty, clean theIR diodes
and restart theicemaker.
The ice cubes stick together • Stop theice making process and wait for theice to
melt before restartingit.
• Make sure that thewater is between 8 °C and 25 °C.
No ice is made • Make sure that thewater is between 8 °C and 25 °C.
• Place theice maker in acooler location and fill
thewater tank with cold water, 8 °C.
