1. Thesoleplate becomes extremely hot duringuse. Neverleave theiron unattended
when it is plugged in or while thesoleplate is stillhot.
2. Plug themains lead into anearthed wall socket. Thefirst indicator light will comeon.
3. Set thedesired temperature. Theindicator light next to thetemperature control will
come on to show that theiron is heatingup. Whenthelight turns off, theiron has
reached thedesired operating temperature. Ifthetemperature drops below theset
temperature theiron will begin reheating and theindicator light will come onagain.
Steam ironing
Steam ironing is only possible at high temperatures.
1. Set thedesired temperature.
2. Set thesteam level (12).
3. Wait until theiron reaches operating temperature and theindicator light has turnedoff.
Ironing using thesteamshot
Thesteam shot function can be used for both dry ironing and steam ironing if
thetemperature control is set to ahigh temperature. Thesteam shot feature can help
you eliminate stubborn creases.
1. Hold theiron over thepiece of clothing.
2. Press thesteam shot button (max 2 seconds) until
thesteam begins flowing through theholes of
thesoleplate.
3. Release thesteam shot button.
4. As soon as you hold theiron horizontally it will
produce steam and you may begin ironing.
Note: Iftheiron produces drops of water, it may be
that theiron is set at too low atemperature. Adjust to
theappropriate temperature.
Afteruse
1. Let theiron cool completely.
2. Empty thewatertank.
3. Wind thepower cable around theneck of
thehandle and fasten it to thecable fastener on
thefront of theiron.
