Lubrication
Note! Lubricate the tool with a few drops of oil in the air-line connection before using
the tool for the first time.
• For best results, lubricate regularly but sparingly. Oil entering the air-lines will
lubricate the internal components.
• If a mist lubricator is not used, the tool should be lubricated by dropping a little
oil into the coupling nipple once or twice a day (depending on the level of usage).
Only a few drops (1–2) of oil are needed at a time. If too much oil is used it will
collect in the tool and blow out into the air when the tool is used. Bear in mind
that oil mist in the air is dangerous for your health.
• Cold Weather Operation In cold or freezing weather, the moisture in the air-lines
might freeze and create problems. We recommend that you use an air lubricator
or permanent anti-freeze (ethylene glycol) as a lubricant.
Note! To prevent the build-up of frost or ice on the valves or other parts of
the tool, which can lead to malfunction, you should avoid storing the tool where
there is a risk of frost.
Use
• The tool is equipped with a switch for changing the direction of rotation.
Press it backwards for anticlockwise rotation (R=reverse) and forward for clock-
wise rotation (F=forward). Only change the direction of rotation when the tool
has come to a complete stop.
• Set the desired torque level (1–4) by turning the control near the inlet nipple.
• Start with the lowest torque and increase if needed.
Protect the environment
Sort your waste and recycle products instead of throwing them away.
All machines, hoses and packing material should be sorted and handled
according to local environmental regulations.
