Note: Thehair straightener can emit smoke or aburning smell for ashort while after
it has been turned on for thefirsttime. Thisis entirely normal and will cease after
acouple of minutes. Werecommend that you use aheat protecting haircare product
on your hair before you begin to use thehair straightener.
Caution:
• Theceramic plates of thehair straightener become very hot during use, so
theappliance should be used carefully.
• Do not use thehair straightener if you have sensitive hair, have adamaged scalp,

Care and maintenance
• Store thehair straightener in its original package when you are not usingit.
Donot wind thelead around theplates. Carefully coil up thelead next to thehair
straightener.
• Let thestraightener cool completely before putting it into thebox.
• Pull out theplug and let thehair straightener cool before cleaning.
• Clean theceramic plates when you have used oils or other haircare products
in yourhair. Wipethehair straightener clean with adampcloth. Makesure that
thehair straightener is completely dry before using it or putting it into itsbox.
• Never use strong detergents or solvents.
• Never immerse thehair straightener in liquid.
• Thehair straightener should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
