you the health benefits of air frying (virtually no oil) but, also, has some useful additional
features (see below). The easy clean non-stick coating greatly assists the removal of food
residues.
Used and cared for in line with the guidance provided within this Instruction Manual it
should provide you with many years of trouble-free service.

The use of any electrical appliance requires the application of the following common sense
safety rules.
WARNING: Fire Risk – Most people are aware of the risks of Electrical Fires. Probably
we all know someone who has experienced an issue of this kind, be it major or minor. The
most common causes of these issues are Tumble Dryers, Washing Machines and to a lesser
degree refrigerators. However, as a responsible Supplier we want to provide you with the
best advice to try an avoid a problem of this kind with any product you buy from us, no
matter how small the risk. Therefore, please take particular note of any warnings in these
Operating Instructions that are followed by “Risk of Fire.”
Failure to observe these safety rules exposes the user to the risk of personal injury or the
product itself to the risk of damage. These two categories are denoted by the following
conventions:

IMPORTANT: Damage to the appliance!
Please therefore note the following safety advice.
Location
• This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It should NOT be used for commercial
purposes. Such use may damage the product and will invalidate your warranty.
• Always locate your appliance away from the edge of a worktop.
• Ensure that the appliance is used on a rm, at, heat resistant surface.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors, or near water.
Power Cord
• The power cord should reach from the socket to the unit without straining the
connections.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a worktop where a child could reach it.
• Do not let the cable run across an open space e.g., between a low socket and table.
• Do not let the cable run across a cooker or toaster or other hot or sharp areas which may
damage the cable.

• If the supply cable is damaged, DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE. The cable must be
replaced by a suitably qualified person with a special cable assembly available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
Personal Safety
• WARNING: To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse
the cord, plug and / or the body of the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause
damage to the unit and a risk of personal injury. It will also invalidate your warranty.
• WARNING. This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. All repairs must only
be carried out by a qualified engineer. Improper repairs may place the user at risk of
harm.
• WARNING. Do not use the appliance after a malfunction or if it has been dropped or
damaged in any way.
• WARNING. Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than its intended use.
• WARNING. Extreme caution must be observed when moving an appliance with hot
contents.
• WARNING. Do not use the product with wet or moist hands.
• Only clean your Product after it has been disconnected from the Mains Supply and
allowed to fully cool down.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children shall not carry out maintenance or cleaning of this appliance.
Children
• Never allow a child to operate this appliance.
• Childrenare vulnerablein thekitchen,particularlywhenunsupervised andifappliances
are being used or cooking is being carried out.
• Teach children to be aware of dangers in the kitchen, warn them of the dangers of
reaching up to areas where the child cannot see properly or should not be reaching.
Safety Considerations Specifically for this Product
• IMPORTANT. When operating this Air Fryer, keep at least 4 inches (10 centimetres)
of free space on all sides and 12 inches (30 centimetres) above the appliance as it
becomes very hot in use.

• WARNING. Never place anything on top of your Air Fryer when in use. Risk of fire.
• WARNING. NEVER overfill your Cooking Trays. Risk of contacting heating
elements.
• Ensure that there is sucient ventilation around the appliance to allow the escape of
heat and steam.
• WARNING. DO NOT place your Air Fryer under cupboards, blinds, or curtains. Risk
of overheating / fire.
• To disconnect, turn o at the wall socket before removing the plug from the mains outlet.
• The appliance must be unplugged from the power supply after use and whilst any
maintenance such as cleaning is carried out.
• ALWAYS unplug from the wall outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Always hold
and pull the plug, never pull the cord.
• Allow the appliance to cool before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
• WARNING. Do not cover any part of the Air Fryer with a cloth or similar, it will cause
overheating. Risk of fire.
• Do not use any accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer in this
appliance.
• DO NOT use any Cooking Trays other than those supplied with the appliance.
• NEVER fill the Cooking Trays with oil. Risk of fire.
• DO NOT use metal kitchen tools or utensils in the Cooking Trays. These may cause
irreparable damage to the non-stick surface.
• ALWAYS use non-metallic long handled spoons or tongs when checking the progress of
the cooking.
• NEVER cook meat, poultry, or seafood from frozen. ALWAYS thaw completely first.
• WARNING: No part of this appliance including the Cooking Trays is dishwasher safe.
• Before placing your Cooking Trays into the Air Fryer check that no foreign bodies
have fallen into the apertures. Cook only in the Cooking Tray (11) supplied.
• NEVER cook in the Cooking Tray aperture, cook only in the Cooking Tray provided.
Risk of electrocution / fire.
• NEVER cover the Air Vent (12). Risk of fire.
• The appliance must be used on a level, stable and heat-resistant surface.
• WARNING. The temperature on the surface of this appliance is high during cooking
and for some time after it has been in use. Do not touch with bare hands.
• NEVER touch the inside surfaces of the appliance whilst it is operating. Risk of burns
or electric shock.

• WARNING. Do not use this appliance in conjunction with an external timer or remote
control.
• The first time you use your Air Fryer there may be a slight odour, or a small amount of
smoke given o. This is normal and is just the manufacturing residues burning o.
• Do not overll your Air Fryer,the maximum practical capacity is around 5.8l.
• WARNING. This is a CLASS I Product and as such needs to be connected to an
EARTHED supply.
• DO NOT use this appliance if it has been dropped or if the Power Cord (14) is damaged.
Contact your service agent for advice.
Electrical Requirements
When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate corresponds with that of your local
network before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewirable plug fitted to the mains lead and should
the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA or BS approved type conforming to BS1362
and of the same rating. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician for advice or assistance.
If you need to remove the plug - DISCONNECT IT FROM THE MAINS and cut it o the
mains lead. You must then dispose of it IMMEDIATELY and SAFELY. Never attempt
to re-use the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a serious danger of an
electric shock.
How to use your Air Fryer
To begin using your Air Fryer, first, carefully unpack it and check that it has not sustained
any damage during transportation. Also check that all the items shown in the PRODUCT
OVERVIEW are present. We recommend that you retain your packaging so that, in the
unlikely event of a fault developing, you are able to return the product in the correct
packaging to ensure best protection.
Before first use
1. Remove all packaging material.
2. Remove any stickers or labels from the appliance. DO NOT remove the Product Rating
Plate.
3. Thoroughly wash the Cooking Tray (11) and Grill Rack (13), in hot soapy water using
a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry.

NOTE: Accessories having a non-stick coating will, over time, suer damage from
harsh detergents (including dishwashing) so we suggest hand washing.
WARNING. DO NOT use abrasive, caustic, or solvent cleaners on your appliance.
These may damage the surface finishes.
4. Wipe the outside of the Top Cover (1) and Upper / Lower Body (2-3) with a moist cloth.
5. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
6. Next, take the time to familiarise yourself with the Control Panel. See below outlining
the functions available.
WARNING: DO NOT immerse the Body (2-3), Power Cord or Mains Plug (14) in
water or any other liquid.
Control Panel Functions
Explanation of Control Panel Keys.
Your Control Panel (CP) is touch sensitive making function selection very easy indeed.
To avoid any confusion with the General Description numbering on PAGE 3 all your
Function Keys in this manual will be suxed with C P.
Icon Explanation.
Key 1CP – Power Key
With power connected, insert the Cooking Tray into the Tray Opening (9) ensuring it
is pushed fully home. Selecting the Power Key for 0.5 seconds will turn the unit to the
default mode of Chips the temperature is set to 180°C, and a cooking time of 20 minutes.
Selecting the Power Key, a second time will start the cooking process based on those
settings. When operating, pressingthe Power Key for 2seconds will “Beep” once and turn
OFF the Air fryer. The Display (9CP will show OFF. After 10 seconds the Air Fryer will
then return to Standby.
