IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1. You should only plug the appliance into a 220V-
240V AC, 50Hz earthed socket outlet. Connect it
to other power sources may damage the
appliance and will invalidate the guarantee.
2. Please read through the instruction manual
before your first use and keep it for future use.
3. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
4. Switch off and unplug when not in use and before
cleaning the appliance.
5. Do not stare directly into the halogen tube.
6. Do not touch hot surface or surface may be
hot. Always wear protective, insulated oven
gloves or mitts when removing food items or
handling the Halogen oven - The oven gets
very hot.
7. WARNING –Must use the lid handle to
remove/place the glass lid from/on the glass
pot to operate the safety switch for safety
issue.
8. WARNING –DO NOT put the glass lid directly
on the table or similar surface. Only place the
glass lid on the provided metal stand (Lid
holder).
9. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse
cord, plugs, or main body in water or other liquid.
10. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
11. Do not leave food in oven overnight.

12. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before attaching or
removing parts or cleaning.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or
has been damaged in any manner. Take it to a
qualified service engineer for examination and
repair.
14. Do not use accessory attachments not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer as
may cause injury.
15. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or
counter, or touch hot surfaces.
16. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or heated oven.
17. Extreme caution must be used when moving an
appliance containing hot food or liquids.
18. This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such as:
-staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
-farm houses;
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments;
-bed and breakfast type environments
19. The appliance must not be immersed in water.
20. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
21. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children aged less than 8 years.

22. Do not store any item on the oven during
operation.
23. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
24. Always carry the appliances by the handles on
the lids. NEVER lift the appliances by hanging
the power cord.
25. When operating the oven, keep at least 10cm of
space on all sides of the oven to allow for
adequate air circulation.
26. Use on a secure and stable worktop. Do not place
near the edge of the worktop.
27. Do not place the product where it can either fall or
be submerged into water or any other liquid.
28. Always place the glass pot into the base before
plugging in the power plug and switching ON.
Never operate the oven without first placing it on
the supplied base.
29. Do not move the oven while in use.

30. A fire may occur if the oven is covered by or
placed near the flammable material, including
curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in
operation.
31. Never leave the product unattended while in use.
32. Do not place any of the following materials in the
oven: cardboard, plastic, paper, or anything
similar.
33. Do not store any materials, other than
manufacturer's recommended accessories in this
oven when not in use.
34. To disconnect, pull the lid handle upward (i.e. Off
position), then remove plug from wall outlet.
Always hold the plug, but never pull the cord.
35. The appliance has a tempered, safety glass cover
and container. The glass is stronger than ordinary
glass and more resistant to breakage. Avoid
scratching cover and container surface or nicking
edges. If the glass has a scratch or nick, contact a
qualified service engineer for examination.
36. All metal items in the oven, such as the cooking
racks, can get very hot during cooking. Please be
careful when removing these items from the oven.
Always wear oven gloves or use the provided
tongs.
37. The temperature of accessible surfaces may
get hot when the appliance is operating. Please
make sure that the power cord will not touch the
container and the lid when the appliance is in
operation.

38. Please use the appliances with supplied
containers and supports.
39. The handle of the appliance should not be pushed
down when the lid is not on the container.
40. DO NOT operate the Halogen Oven near to where
aerosol products are being used.
41.NOTE - This product may emit some odour when it
is first used. This is due to lubricant on the
elements burning off and is NORMAL. It will not
continue following further use.
42. Important- Always place the glass pot on the pot
support stand when cooking your food. NEVER
put the glass pot directly on the countertop. Never
leave the product unattended while in use.
43. Always be extremely cautious when preparing
foods using fats and oil around heat as these can
catch fire or scold.
44. Where you see this symbol on the
product or attachments, it means:
CAUTION: Hot Surface
45. The product is not to be used if it has been
dropped, or if there are visible signs of damage.
46. The appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separated remote-
control system.
47. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
48. The outer surface may get hot when the appliance
is operating.

49. WARNING! –The lid should be unplugged when
cooking is done and before it is lifted from the pot
as accidental closure of the handle will re-energise
the heating element.
50.Never cook stews casseroles or any liquid based
food such as soup directly in the Halogen oven
bowl as the unit can become damaged by liquid
splashes and vapour” See the Cooking hints
section for instruction on how to cook stews and
casseroles correctly.”

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. DO NOT operate the Halogen Oven with other household appliances plugged
into the same power socket as there may be a risk of fusing the circuit.
2. Remove the lid, glass pot, base and accessories from the retail box.
3. Read the instruction thoroughly and follow the important safety instructions.
4. Clean parts with damp cloth thoroughly. Never clean the lid with water or any
other liquid. Only the glass pot can be wash by water or other liquid.
5. Make sure all the parts are completely dry before use.
6. Select a flat, heat-resistant, non-flammable surface to operate the oven.
7. Ensure the power cord is not touching anything hot.
8. Ensure you have adequate clear space above the product when raising the
glass lid from the glass pot.
ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTION
1. Place the base support stand on a stable, flat and dry surface.
2. Place the glass pot onto base support stand.
3. Insert the mains plug into a mains power outlet.
4. Carefully place the lid on the glass pot.
Note: The appliance will only operate when the handle is pushed down
into a horizontal position to activate the safety switch.
5. Push the release button on the handle and then put the handle down to
ensure the safety switch at the rear of the lid is pressed.
6. Set the temperature to 100°C and timer to 15 minutes. (see section
“operation instructions”)
7. After a few minutes a small amount of smoke and odour may be emitted from
the oven, this is normal on first use.
8. Once the oven has reached its timed stop, pull the handle upward.
9. Unplug the unit from mains. Remove the lid and place it into the lid holder to
let it cool down.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Always operate this product on a flat horizontal surface.
Do not operate under or near curtains or other combustible materials.
Using the appliance
Remove the lid unit and put it on the Lid holder.
Then put the most suitable rack into the glass pot
before placing the food inside. Cooking the food
without the rack is not recommended. Putting the
food on the rack can improve the hot air circulation
around the food. Keep the food away from the glass
wall at least 3cm.
Note: Food can be packed into aluminum foil
or put onto an oven-safe container.
1. Set up:
Place the lid on the glass pot securely. Make
sure the food does not touch the lid and allow
at least 10 cm clearance from the halogen bulb.
2. Standby mode:
Once the appliance is plugged in securely,
push the release button on the handle and
push down the handle into the horizontal
position to activate the safety switch at the rear
side of the appliance. LED display will turn on
the center colon with meaning of standby. If
the safety switch is not activated, the oven will
stay OFF.
3. ON mode:
Press the Power button and then the unit will
switch from Standby mode to ON mode. The
Time indicator will light up and LED display will
display 0:10, which is the default time setting.
(default temperature setting is 120 oC) Press the
Power button again and then the unit will switch
back to Standby mode.
