1. INTRODUCTION

For best print quality, some ﬁlaments may need to stabilize the build area temperature. This can signiﬁcantly reduce

the possibility of warping printed objects.

That’s why we also oﬀer the elegant and durable printer cover and door for Crabot printers.

The CraBot XL and the CraBot Plus Pro domes are identical, so we are showing the CraBot Pro Plus assembly.

This manual walks you through the steps of installing the dome.

2. ACCESSORIES

Below you can see contents of the box. First of all, check the list to make sure nothing is missing!

1. Assembled dome with fan (1x)

2. Filament holder (1x)

3. Filament guide tube (1x)

Tools needed:

• 2.5mm allen key

• 10 mins

3. INSTALLATION

Please follow the steps listed below to install the dome.

• Remove the ﬁlament spool holder.

• Remove the FMS sensor.

• Remove the screws marked with an arrow on the top cover of the printer. (4x)

• Aach the ﬁlament spool holder to the indicated position.

• Aach the FMS sensor to the indicated position.

• Place the dome to the printer. Please be sure, the cover sits properly on the printer’s top cover.

• Fasten the front of the dome. Use the previously removed screws. (4x)

• Aach the ﬁlament guide tube supplied with the dome.

• Insert the tube back into the extruder.

• Connect the FMS sensor.

• Connect the dome fan.

3. FIRMWARE SETTINGS

• In the temperature seing menu, by pressing the icon, the dome cover seings menu will be displayed.

• Here, with the ON / OFF buon, you can enable or disable the operation of the dome fan. This feature seing will

not change when the printer is turned oﬀ and on.
