How to safely remove CardGuard Pro
To properly disconnect CardGuard Pro from your computer, disable the
device before unplugging it from the computer.
The methods of disabling the device vary based on the operating system
of your computer. Refer to the instruction manual of your computer for
details.
Warning: Unplugging CardGuard Pro from your computer before properly
deactivating it may result in data loss.
For Windows OS:
Click the “Safely Remove Hardware” icon which is located in the system
tray in bottom right corner of the desktop, click the hardware device
named “USB Mass Storage Device” and click the “Stop” button in order
to cease the card reader’s operation. You will see a confirmation message
telling you that it’s safe to remove the device. Then unplug CardGuard Pro
from the computer.
DICOTA cannot be held responsible for any data loss during usage of
CardGuard Pro!

Sicheres Entfernen von CardGuard Pro
Um CardGuard Pro auf sichere Weise von Ihrem PC zu trennen, muss das

Deaktivierung bei Windows Betriebssystemen:
Klicken Sie auf den Button „Hardware sicher entfernen“, welcher im
System-Tray in der rechten unteren Ecke des Desktops angezeigt wird,
und wählen Sie die Hardware mit der Bezeichnung „USB Massenspei-
chergerät“. Klicken Sie auf „Stop“, um das Gerät zu deaktivieren. Darauf-
hin erhalten Sie eine Meldung, dass Sie das Gerät nun sicher entfernen
können.

Retirer CardGuard Pro en toute sécurité
Pour retirer CardGuard Pro de votre PC en toute sécurité, vous devez
avant toute chose déconnecter le périphérique.
