Before You Start
•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.
•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfrom
directsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started
•Removetrimringfromunit,
•Remove2transitscrewslocated
ontopoftheunit.
•Insertthesuppliedkeysintothe
slotsasshown,andslidetheunit
outofthemountingsleeve.
•Installmountingsleeveinto
opening,bendingtabstosecure.
•Connectwiringharnessand
antenna.Consultaqualified
technicianifyouareunsure.
•Certainvehiclesmayrequirean
installationkitand/orwiring
harnessadapter(soldseparately).
•Testforcorrectoperationandslide
intomountingsleevetosecure.
•Snaptrimringintoplace.

auxiliaryinput.Modesofoperationareindicatedinthe
display.
Note:CDmodewillnotappearunlessaCDisinserted.
Inserta3.5mmconnectorinthefrontpanelAUXport.
Connecttheotherendofthe3.5mmconnectortothe
headphoneoutputofanaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.Press
MODEtoselectAUXmode.
InserttheUSBconnectorofabattery-poweredUSBdevice
intotheUSBchargingportonthefrontpanel,whichprovides
5voltsDCand1.0amps.TheUSBdevicewillimmediately
begincharging.
Note:TheUSBchargingportmaynotbecompatiblewith
everydeviceduetodifferencesinpowerrequirements.
Note:ThisUSBportprovidespoweronlyandwillnotplay
backmusicfromaUSBdevice.
Adjustvolumeusingvolumeknob(00-46).
Press MUTEtosilencetheaudio.“MUTE”willflashinthe
display.PressMUTEagaintocancel.
Press to RESETtheunituponinitialinstallationorif
abnormaloperationoccurs.Theresetbuttonislocated
behindthefaceplate.
