IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting to use the panel heater, read
through all the instructions. Keep this manual
safely for future reference.
1. Use the panel heater in a location that is
inaccessible to children.
2. Do not use the panel heater outdoors.
3. Place the panel heater on a firm, even
surface. Make sure the panel heater is
standing securely so that it can neither tip
over nor fall off. Only operate the panel
heater in an upright position and with the
castors mounted.
4. For wall-mounting, only mount the panel
heater on heat-proof surfaces, and never
on wood, plastic or other burnable
surfaces.
5. Unwind the power cable (14) completely.
A power cable that is not completely
unwound can cause overheating and start
a fire.
6. Do not use an extension cable, an
infinitely variable speed controller or a
timer. This could lead to overheating and
cause a fire or an electric shock.
7. The panel heater must only be connected
to a single-phase power socket with the
voltage as stated on the type plate of the
panel heater.
8. Always disconnect the power plug (14)
from the power socket when the panel
heater is not in use, or when it is handled,
moved or cleaned. Do not tug at the
cable to disconnect the power plug (14).
To transport the panel heater, always use
the transport grip (13) at the back of the
panel heater.
9. Do not use the panel heater anywhere
near easily inflammable gases or
materials such as solvents, paint, glue etc.
10. Do not install the panel heater
immediately beneath a power socket.
11. This panel heater is also suitable for use
in bathrooms, toilets and similar humid
rooms (IP24). However, do not use the
panel heater very close to a bathtub, a
shower or a swimming pool.
12. Do not use the panel heater in any kind of
vehicle (e.g. construction vehicle, elevator,
lift, caravan, car, steering cabin) or any
similar enclosed space.
13. Warning: The panel heater gets hot when
it is in operation. Burnable materials such
as cushions, bedding, furniture, paper,
curtains or clothing must be kept at a
distance of at least 100 cm from the
panel heater (1).
14. Keep the panel heater clean. Before
starting to use the panel heater, make sure
that the front grid (2) is open. Do not
allow objects to get into the panel heater.
Do not cover the panel heater as this
could cause overheating, a fire or an
electric shock. This is marked on the
appliance by the following symbol: .
15. Do not immerse the panel heater in water
or any other liquid and do not spill water
or any other liquid onto the appliance or
into the front grid (2).
16. Clean the panel heater regularly
according to the cleaning instructions.
17. If the power cable (14) of the panel
heater is damaged, it must be repaired in
a workshop approved by the
manufacturer, as special tools are needed.
18. Do not use the panel heater if it is
damaged or shows any signs of damage,
or does not function properly. Disconnect
the power plug (14) from the power
socket.

FIRST TIME OF USE
1. Before starting to use the panel heater,
read through all the instructions.
2. Unpack the panel heater, all accessories
and the power cable. Remove all
packaging materials and dispose of them
in an environmentally friendly manner.
3. Stand the panel heater upside down.
Please note that the panel heater is only
standing upside down if the end of the
power cable leading into the appliance is
also on the top.
4. Fix the two castor undercarriages (12) on
the two ends of the base of the panel
heater. Adjust them so that each screw on
each undercarriage is fitted into its special
hole located on the base of the panel
heater. Tighten the castor undercarriages
(12) with a cross recess (Phillips-tip)
screw-driver. Make sure that the castor
undercarriages (12) are firmly attached to
the panel heater. (Fig.1)
5. Stand the panel heater upright on a firm,
even surface. Make sure the panel heater
is standing securely so that it cannot tip
over or fall off. Observe a safety distance
of at least 100 cm from other objects.
For use in bathrooms, a minimum distance
of 60 cm from showers, bathtubs and
washbasins must be observed, as shown
unter „safety distances“ (1). The local
safety regulations of the country must al-
ways be observed.
6. When the panel heater is used for the first
time or after it has been stored for a
longer period, it could release a smell, but
this disappears after a short period of use.
WALL MOUNTING
(Fig. 2)
1. Make sure that the power switch (3) is in
the OFF position (4). Disconnect the
power plug (14) from the power socket.
Do not touch the power cable with wet
hands.
2. Hold the wall-mounting device (16) against
the wall and mark the first drilling hole. In-
sert a plug into the drilling hole. Observe
the minimum spacing as shown under safety
distances (1): at least 70cm to the floor
from the bottom edge of the panel heater
and at least 100cm distance from the top
edge of the panel heater to other objects
(1). When mounting on a bathroom wall,
also make sure that the panel heater is at
least 60cm away from a shower, bathtub
or washbasin. The local safety regulations
of the country must always be observed.
3. After you have drilled the first hole, push
a plug into the hole and fix the holding
device (16) lightly to the wall on the one
side using a cross recess screw.
4. Mark the second drilling hole on the wall,
using a spirit level (distance of hole:
138 mm).
5. After you have drilled the second hole,
push the second plug into it and fix the
holding device (16) to the wall with the
second cross recess screw.
6. Tighten the cross recess screws. Make
sure that the holding device (16) is
attached firmly to the wall.
7. Using the device provided at the rear (15),
attach the panel heater without the castor
undercarriages to the wall-mounting device
(16) and press the panel heater lightly in
a downwards direction. Mark the other two
drilling holes for the wall-mounting devices
on the underside of the panel heater.
8. Remove the panel heater from the wall,
drill both holes and insert the remaining
plugs into the wall.
9. Again using the device provided at the
rear (15), attach the panel heater without
the castor undercarriages to the wall-mounting
device (16) and press the panel heater
lightly in a downwards direction. Make sure
that the panel heater is securely attached
to the wall-mounting device so that it cannot
fall off. Now attach the two wall-mounting
devices at the bottom of the panel heater
using the two remaining cross recess screws.

heater will continue the heating operation
until the room temperature has risen to
above about + 5 °C.
8. When the rotary thermostat switch (7) is
at the highest position (11), you cannot
turn it in a clockwise direction, but only in
an anti-clockwise direction.
ECO-Function
1. The ECO-Function switches itself on as
soon as the set room temperature has
more or less been reached. The green
ECO control lamp (6) lights up.
2. The panel heater is now heating with a
third less energy:
1000 Watt runs with 650 Watt
1500 Watt runs with 1000 Watt
Overheating protection
1. The panel heater is equipped with
overheating protection which
automatically switches off the panel
heater if it overheats.
2. If this happens, switch the power switch
(3) to the OFF position (4) and disconnect
the power plug (14) from the power socket.
