This appliance is designed solely to blow and vacuum dead leaves in private gardens.
Any other usage that is expressly not permitted in this manual may damage the appliance and constitute a serious
hazard for the user.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS
In this manual and/or on the appliance the following symbols are used:
Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and proper use of the appliance.
Ensure that the power point is switched off and the plug removed before you attempt any maintenance,
adjustment or cleaning on the appliance.
Keep bystanders away. The appliance should not be used any closer than 15m to other people. Never
operate while children or pets are nearby.
Before using check the supply and extension cords for wear or damage.
Do not use the appliance if the cord is damaged or worn.
Remove plug from the mains immediately if cable is damaged or cut.
Wear safety glasses or goggles when operating the appliance.
Wear hearing protection when operating the appliance.
Use a face or dust mask whenever the conditions are dusty.
Wear gloves for cutting protection.
Wear safety shoes for preventing slipping.
Don’t use the appliance in wet conditions. Don’t leave or use it in the rain. Do not vacuum water, liquids
or excessively damp debris.

General safety warnings
WARNING
Read all the safety warnings and all instructions in order to familiarise yourself with the controls and how to handle the
appliance correctly.
Failure to follow warnings and instructions can lead to electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Keep all warnings and instructions for future reference.
Electrical safety
a) It is recommended that you plug the appliance into a socket equipped with a residual current device (RCD), the
tripping current of which is lower or equal to 30 mA.
b) Do not expose tools to rain or damp conditions.
c) Ensure that you use extension cords (multi-plug adapter or extension) compatible with outdoor use and that are
resistant to bad weather conditions (In accordance with CEI 60320-2-3)
d) Do not mistreat the cable. Never use the power cable to carry, pull or unplug the tool. Keep the cable away from
heat, lubricants, sharp edges or moving parts.
e) Do not carry / transport the appliance using the cable.
f) Always direct the cable towards the back, away from the operating appliance
g) Before using, check the power cable and extension lead for signs of damage or wear. Do not use the appliance
if it is damaged.
h) If the cable becomes damaged during use, disconnect it immediately from the power supply.
NOT TO TOUCH THE CABLE BEFORE HAVING DISCONNECTED IT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
i) If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special type of cable or unit, available
from the manufacturer or its after-sales service.
Personal safety
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW BEFORE USE
a) This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, mental or sensory
abilities, or people with no prior experience or knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been given prior
supervision and instruction concerning this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

b) NEVER allow children to use the appliance. Local laws and regulations may set a minimum age limit for users.
c) It is advisable that you supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
d) NEVER allow people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the appliance.
e) Do not handle if you are tired or are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. Take regular breaks.
f) Always ensure that you wear the following personal protection equipment:
- Eye protection.
- Ear defenders
- Protective face mask to avoid irritations due to dust
- Safety shoes equipped with non-slip soles
- Long, robust trousers
j) Dress in suitable clothing; do not wear baggy clothing or jewellery that may get caught in the air intake.
k) Keep long hair away from air intakes. Tie hair up or cover it.
l) Never use the appliance with defective protectors or without safety devices, for example, the debris collector
must be in place.
m) Always check the appliance before using in order to avoid any risks, and do not use the appliance if it is not
assembled completely.
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW WHEN USING
a) NEVER operate the appliance when third parties, particularly children or animals, are in close proximity.
Switch off the appliance when people approach the work area.
b) Be aware of open doors and windows when using and ensure to blow debris away from them.
The user is responsible for injuries or harm caused to other people or their possessions.
a) Only operate the appliance during daylight or with the aid of good artificial light.
b) It is recommended that you use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing/vacuuming.
c) Do not insert objects or your hands into the rotating parts of the appliance that produce the suction.
d) Keep all cooling air-vents clear of any debris.
e) Never blow debris or point the appliance in the direction of any people present.
f) Do not vacuum damp or wet materials, or liquids.

g) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when checking the appliance, in the event of blockages or
if it vibrates abnormally.
h) Do not rush. Remain in a stable and balanced position at all times.
i) Always be sure of your steps on slopes. Strap the appliance to yourself using the accessory designed for
this purpose.
j) Walk; never run when holding the appliance.
Recommendations
k) It is recommended that you slightly dampen dusty surfaces or that you use a mist blower.
l) It is recommended that you use the intake/outlet tube at its maximum length to be able to reach the ground
with the air flow.
m) It is recommended that you operate the appliance only at reasonable times, not too early in the morning
and not too late in the evening, which may disturb neighbours. Keep to the times set by local regulations.
INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW AFTER USE
a) Disconnect the appliance from the power supply after use.
b) Clean the appliance adequately following the precautions described in chapter 6.

Parts Identification
ASSEMBLING YOUR APPLIANCE
Your appliance comes with the fully assembled main unit, the unassembled rear handle and leaf bag. Take it out of
the package, fit the handle and attach the bag, your appliance is now ready to go.

Fitting the handle
- Remove the two handle locking screws from their position on the chassis by using the screwdriver,
and keep them on the side for next step. (Fig. 1)

- Insert the two ends of the lower handle into the mounting holes on the chassis as shown. (Fig. 2)

-Re-insert the two locking screws and tightening by using the screwdriver. (Fig. 4 )
