3. General Guidelines
Refer to the Velleman Group NV® Service and Quality Warranty
on the last pages of this manual.
•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before
actually using it.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device
in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
4. Features and specifications
•This compact door sensor will automatically switch on LED lighting
in your cabinets or dressing room. Simply mount this flush mount
sensor by drilling an 8mm hole in the cabinet. You can easily
conceal the electronic control module in a false wall. This will give
you a perfectly finished installation.
•This Sensor ensures that your LED strip automatically turns off
when the cabinet door is closed and immediately turns on when
the door is opened. Save energy and enjoy convenient lighting in
your cabinets. See image on page 2

5. Installation
Determine the Mounting Location:
Determine the location where the door sensor should be placed.
Generally, it is optimal if the sensor is at a height where it can
properly reflect the infrared signal when the door is closed.
Drill the Mounting Hole:
Use the drill to drill a hole at the marked location. Make sure the hole
is large enough (8mm) to safely mount the infrared sensor.
Place the Infrared Sensor:
Insert the infrared sensor into the drilled hole and fix it securely with
some mounting glue if necessary). Then connect the connecting
cable to the switch module.
