Safety
• Check your local regulations regarding mobile phone and handsfree use in
combination with driving or in other situations which may require your extra attention.
• Shut off both theheadset and mobile phone in areas where you are required to do so,
such as in hospitals, aeroplanes or in areas where there is therisk of explosion.
• Protect theheadset from extreme heat, cold and moisture.
• Never subject theheadset to strong vibrations, knocks or blows.
• Do not dismantle theheadset or its accessories. This product contains no parts
that you can repair yourself.
• Only use thesupplied charge cable.
Protecting your hearing
• Long-term exposure to high volume can cause permanent hearing loss.
• Do not wear theheadset when first turning it on as it can produce aloud sharp
popping noise when turned on.
• Make it ahabit to turn down theheadset volume before turning it off.
• Take off theheadset when turning theconnected audio source (stereo, mobile,
computer, etc.) on/off or when plugging into or unplugging from these sources.

Getting started
Charging
Note: Charge theheadset for 7 hours before
using it for thefirst time. The headset cannot be
connected via Bluetooth when thecharge cable is
connected.
1. Connect theincluded charge cable to
theheadset and then to aUSB port.
The red LED will then come on.
2. Normal charge time for theheadset is 5 hours.
3. The LED will turn off once thebattery is fully
charged.
Power on/off
Power on:
Press and hold [ ] for 3 seconds to turn theheadset on. The blue LED will begin
flashing and anaudible signal will be emitted.
Power off:
Depress and hold [ ] until thered LED starts to flash. The red LED will flash when
turning off theunit and anaudible signal will be heard.
Note: The headset will automatically turn off after 5 minutes in order to save battery
capacity if no signal is received.
Connecting to a mobile phone or other Bluetooth device
1. Make sure that theheadset is turned off (no LEDs lit).
2. Hold in [ ] for about 5 seconds until theLED begins alternatively flashing between
red and blue, and then release.

3. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice to be paired and place it into search mode.
4. The headset will appear as “BMHX40” on your device. Select this as thedevice
to be connected and establish aconnection. Refer to your device’s instruction
manual if you are unsure.
Note: If you are prompted to enter aPIN code on your mobile phone, you should
enter “0000” (four noughts). Certain mobile phones may even require you to approve
theconnection.
When theconnection is successful, theLED will flash blue in two second intervals and
anaudible signal will be heard.
Note: The headset’s Bluetooth mode will be active for about 1½ min. The headset
will automatically turn off if it does not establish contact with another Bluetooth device
within this time frame.
• Once theheadset connects to any Bluetooth device it will be stored into memory
and connect automatically to that device again if it is within range (max 10 m)
provided that both devices are on and that Bluetooth is activated on your device.
• The headset will automatically try to connect to thelast connected Bluetooth
device. If you desire to connect to another Bluetooth device, first turn off
theBluetooth feature on thecurrent device and repeat theconnecting procedure
with theother device.
Operating instructions
The headband is adjustable. Extend it to thecorrect size.
Place theside with thecontrols over theright ear.
Music playback
You can use thefollowing controls to control theplayback of your
mobile or any other Bluetooth connected device:
Play/pause: [ ]
Previous track: [I◄◄ ]
Next track: [►►I ]
Volume: [-]/[+]
Call management
Note: Refer your mobile phone’s owner’s manual for instructions on how to connect
to theheadset.
Once your mobile is connected via Bluetooth, you can use thefollowing controls to
control call management:
• Answering calls: Press [ ].
• Ending calls: Press [ ].
• Calling: Calls will be automatically transferred to theheadset when calling from
your phone.
• Voice activatation: Press and hold [ ] for about 2 sec. Valid only if your mobile
supports this function.

• Redial: Press [ ] twice. Valid only if your mobile supports this function.
• Call blocking: Press [ ] twice to block theincoming call. Valid only if your mobile
supports this function.
• Volume control: Adjusts theheadsets volume with the[+] and [-].buttons.
3.5 mm audio cable
Connect theheadset to your device’s 3.5 mm socket using thesupplied audio cable.
The headset cannot be connected via Bluetooth when theaudio cable is connected.
Care and maintenance
Clean theheadset using alightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
The headset cannot
be turned on.
• Charge theheadset’s battery. Connect thecharge cable to
theheadset and aUSB charge source. See the Charging
section.
No sound. • Adjust thevolume both on thedevice and headset.
• Make sure that theBluetooth connection is functioning
properly. See theConnecting to amobile phone or other
Bluetooth device.
• Test theplayback from your external device before
connecting it to eliminate it as thesource of theproblem.
• Try playback using another file. The file you are attempting
to play may be damaged.
• Make sure thedevices are within range of each other.
The distance between them may not exceed 10 m.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Skydda din hörsel
• Långvarig exponering för hög ljudvolym kan orsaka bestående hörselskador.
• När du slår på headsetet bör du inte ha det på dig då det kan ge ifrån sig höga
klickljud när det slås på.
• Ta för vana att ställa ner volymen innan du stänger av headsetet.
• Du bör ta av dig headsetet när du slår på och av din anslutna ljudkälla
(stereoanläggning, mobiltelefon, dator etc.) eller kopplar in eller drar ut kontakterna
till ljudingångarna.

Att komma igång
Laddning
Obs! Ladda headsetet i 7 tim innan du använder
det första gången. Headsetet kan inte anslutas via
Bluetooth när laddkabeln är ansluten.
1. Anslut den bifogade laddkabeln till headsetet
och sedan till en USB-port. Den röda lysdioden
tänds.
2. Normal laddningstid för headsetets inbyggda
batteri är ca 5 tim.
3. När batteriet är fulladdat släcks lysdioden.
Slå på och stäng av
Slå på headsetet:
Tryck och håll in [ ] i ca 3 sek för att slå på headsetet. Den blå lysdioden börjar blinka
och en signal ljuder.
Stäng av headsetet:
Tryck och håll in [ ] tills den röda lysdioden börjar blinka. Lysdioden blinkar rött när
enheten stängs av och en signal ljuder.
Obs! Headsetet stängs automatiskt av efter 5 min för att spara batterikapacitet om
ingen signal tas emot.

Anslut headsetet till en mobiltelefon eller annan enhet via Bluetooth
1. Se till att headsetet är avstängt (ingen lysdiod lyser).
2. Håll in [ ] i ca 5 sekunder och släpp knappen när lysdioden blinkar växelvis rött/blått.
3. Aktivera Bluetooth på den enhet som ska paras ihop med headsetet och sätt den
i sökbart läge.
4. När headsetet visas på din enhet, det heter ”BMHX40”, väljer du det och ansluter
din enhet till headsetet. Se bruksanvisningen för din enhet om du är osäker.
Obs! Om du ombeds att ange PIN-kod på din mobiltelefon anger du ”0000” (4 nollor).
På vissa mobiltelefoner måste du dessutom godkänna anslutningen.
När anslutningen är etablerad blinkar lysdioden blått med 2 sek mellanrum och
headsetet avger en ljudsignal.
Obs! Headsetets Bluetooth-läge är aktivt i ca 1,5 min. Om inte headsetet har anslutits
till någon Bluetooth-enhet inom den tiden stängs det automatiskt av.
• När headsetet en gång anslutits till en enhet kommer de båda Bluetooth-enheterna att
minnas varandra och ansluter automatiskt nästa gång de är inom räckhåll (max 10 m)
för varandra (förutsatt att de är påslagna och att Bluetooth är aktiverat på din enhet).
• Headsetet kommer att automatiskt ansluta till den senast anslutna Bluetooth-enheten.
Vill du ansluta till en annan Bluetooth-enhet, stäng då av Bluetooth-funktionen på den nu
anslutna enheten och gör om anslutningen till den nya enheten.
Användning
Bygeln är justerbar, dra ut den till lämplig längd. Placera sidan
med knapparna över höger öra.
Musiklyssning
När din telefon eller enhet är ansluten till headsetet via Bluetooth
kan du styra uppspelningen av ljudfiler enligt följande:
Play/pause: [ ]
Föregående spår: [I◄◄ ]
Nästa spår: [►►I ]
Volym: [-]/[+]
Samtalshantering
Obs! Läs bruksanvisningen för den telefon som ska anslutas till headsetet.
När din telefon är ansluten till headsetet via Bluetooth kan du hantera samtal enligt följande:
• För att besvara samtal: tryck [ ].
• För att avsluta samtal: tryck [ ].
• För att ringa samtal: när du ringer upp från din mobiltelefon överförs samtalet
automatiskt till headsetet.
• Röststyrd uppringning: håll in [ ] i ca 2 sek. Gäller endast om din telefon stöder
denna funktion.

• Återuppringning av det senaste numret: tryck [ ] 2 gånger. Gäller endast om din
telefon stöder denna funktion.
• Avvisa samtal: tryck [ ] 2 gånger för att avvisa inkommande samtal. Gäller endast

• Volymkontroll: justera headsetets volym med knapparna [+] och [-].
Användning med medföljande 3,5 mm audiokabel
Anslut headsetet till 3,5 mm-uttaget på din enhet med den medföljande audiokabeln.
Headsetet kan inte anslutas via Bluetooth när audiokabeln är ansluten.
Skötsel och underhåll
Rengör headsetet med en lätt fuktad trasa. Använd ett milt rengöringsmedel,
aldrig lösningsmedel eller frätande kemikalier
Felsökningsschema
Headsetet kan
inte slås på.
• Ladda headsetets batteri. Anslut laddkabeln till headsetet och
till ett USB-uttag. Se avsnittet Laddning.
Inget ljud. • Kontrollera volymen på din enhet och på headsetet.
• Försäkra dig om att Bluetooth-anslutningen är korrekt utförd.
Se avsnittet Anslut headsetet till en mobiltelefon eller annan
enhet via Bluetooth.
• Prova att spela upp ljudfilen på din enhet utan att den är ansluten
till headsetet för att försäkra dig om att enheten fungerar.
• Prova att spela upp en annan ljudfil, den du försöker spela upp
kan vara skadad.
• Kontrollera att enheterna befinner sig inom räckhåll för varandra.
Avståndet mellan enheterna får vara max 10 m.
Avfallshantering
När du ska göra dig av med produkten ska detta ske enligt lokala föreskrifter.

Beskytt horselen din
• Langvarig eksponering med høyt lydvolum kan føre til varige hørselsskader.
• Når headsetet skrues på bør man ikke ha dem på ørene. Høye lyder ved oppstart
kan skade hørselen.
• Ha for vane å skru ned volumet før headsetet stenges.
• Man bør også ta av headsetet når lydkildene skrus på og når headsetet kobles til
lydkilden (stereoanlegget, mobiltelefonen, datamaskinen etc.). Det samme gjelder
når det kobles til/fra lydinnganger på eksterne lydkilder.
