and heavy duty work gloves during
use.
• Keep bystanders clear of your
work space during assembly and
operation.
• Keep hands and ngers away from
the crimping die set and moving parts
during operation. This tool creates
approximately 2.5 tons of crimping
force.
• Maintain proper footing and balance
at all times, ensuring better control
during operation and assembly.
• Do not assemble or operate when
tired or when under the inuence of
drugs or medication.
• NEVER attempt to crimp wires that
are plugged into an outlet and
electrically charged.
• Refer to the wire manufacturer’s
instruction manual for specic wire
crimping instructions prior to using this
product.
• Maintain product label and name
plates. These carry important, If
unreadable or missing, contact

• Equipment Medium: compressed air
(after it has gone through a 40-micron
air lter).
• Lubricate moving parts every 10,000
crimping cycles, adding a few drops
of a normal lubricant used for this
purpose.
• Every few months, check that all
bolts and screws are still properly
tightened. Proceed accordingly if
not.
• Do not operate the FD120K in
environments with high temperature
or humidity, recomended operating
conditions: 40-120°F.
• If it is used in low temperature
environment, anti-freeze measures
should be taken to prevent water in
the system from freezing.
• When not in use unplug the air tubing,
block open ports with dust caps, and
turn off the air compressor.
• Store the FD120K in a dry, cool place
and cover it with a suitable blanket to
avoid dust and possible rust spot.
