PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY GUIDELINES CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATION AND
INSTALLATION
REPAIRS SHOULD ONLY BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.
1. Do not use this appliance indoors, as it may cause personal injury or property damage. This
appliance must only be used outdoors.
2. Do not connect the heater to any gas supply until it has been fully assembled.
3. This outdoor heater is not intended to be installed on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
4. Appliance should be located on a solid surface.
5. Maintenance and repair should be carried out be a qualified technician.
6. Improper installation, adjustment or alteration can cause personal injury or property
damage.
7. Do not attempt to alter the unit in any manner. Any modifications may be dangerous and
are not permitted.
8. Do not store or use petroleum or other flammable vapors or liquids in or near the heater
unit.
9. Before use, the whole gas system, hose, regulator, pilot or burner should at least annually
be inspected for leaks or damage by a qualified technician.
10. All leak tests should be done with a soap solution. Never use an open flame to check for
leaks.
11. Do not use the heater until all connections have been leak tested.
12. Turn off the gas valve if smell of gas is detected and immediately shut off any gas supply.
13. Do not move the heater while it is in operation.
14. Do not move the heater until the temperature has fully cooled down after it has been
turned off.
15. The control compartment, burner and circulation air passageways of the heater must be
kept clean.
16. Frequent cleaning may be required as necessary.
17. All gas cylinders should be turned off when the heater is not in use.
18. Check the heater immediately if any of the following occurs:
• The heater does not reach temperature.
• The burner makes popping noises during use (a slight noise is normal when the burner
is extinguished).

• Smell of gas in combination with extreme yellow tipping of the burner flames.
• The burner does not ignite or keeps going out.
19. The gas regulator and hose assembly must be located in the cylinder cabinet where the
gas cylinder is installed.
20. Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the heater must be replaced
before further use.
21. Adults and children should stay away from high temperature surfaces to avoid personal
injury or property damage. WARNING: Accessible parts may be very hot.
22. Children should be carefully supervised at all times when they are near the heater.
23. Clothing or other flammable materials should not be hung on the heater or placed on or
near the heater.
24. Do not use the heater for any form of cooking.
25. Do not throw anything into the heater.
26. Do not leave the heater unattended while in operation.
27. Do not use the heater in excessively windy conditions.
28. Do not use the heater in excessively rainy conditions, as this could lead to damage to
components.
29. Ensure the gas supply is isolate and shut off when not in use and the gas control valve is
in the OFF position.
30. Follow all instructions regarding the use of LPG and Butane bottles. Please contact your
local gas supplier for further advice if needed.
WARNING: Flames from the heater are almost invisible in direct sunlight.

1. The regulator must comply with the standard EN16129; For category I3+, the appliance
must use the butane 30 mbar regulator (reduced pressure: 28-30 mbar) or the propane 37
mbar regulator (reduced pressure: 37 mbar). For category I3B/P(30), the appliance must
use the LPG 30 mbar regulator(reduced pressure: 28-30 mbar). For category I3B/P(50), the
appliance must use the LPG 50 mbar regulator (reduced pressure: 50 mbar).
2. The hose must comply with the standard EN 16436 and the length of the hose should not
exceed 1.5 m.
3. The minimum distance from unprotected combustible materials must be 2 m.
4. Change the gas cylinder in an amply ventilated area, away from any ignition source (candle,
cigarettes, other flame producing appliances ...).
5. Check if the regulator seal is correctly fitted and able to fulfil its function.
6. Do not obstruct the ventilation holes of the cylinder housing.
7. Close the gas supply at the valve of the gas cylinder or the regulator after use.
8. In the event of gas leakage, the appliance must not be used or if alight, the gas supply
must be shut off and the appliance must be investigated and rectified before it is used
again.
9. Check the tubing or the flexible hose (at least once per month and each time the cylinder
is changed).
10. If it shows signs of cracking, splitting or other deterioration it must be exchanged with a
new hose of the same length and of the equivalent quality.
11. Read the instructions before installation and use.
12. This appliance must be installed and the gas cylinder must be stored in accordance with
the regulations in force.
13. Do not obstruct the ventilation holes of the cylinder housing.
14. Do not move the appliance when in operation.
15. Shut off the valve at the gas cylinder or the regulator before moving the appliance.
16. The tubing or the flexible hose must be changed within the prescribed intervals.
17. Use only the type of gas and the type of cylinder specified by the manufacturer in these
instructions.
18. In case of violent wind particular attention must be taken against tilting of the appliance.
19. Keep the instructions for future reference.
20. Do not connect the gas cylinder directly to the appliance without a regulator.
21. The injector is assembled by manufacturer only.

Read the instructions before using this appliance. The appliance must be installed in

The use of this appliance in enclosed areas can be dangerous and is PROHIBITED.
For use outdoors or in amply ventilated areas. An amply ventilated area must have a
minimum of 25 % of the surface area open. The surface area is the sum of the

Step 1: Install the cabinet handle in the hole in
the rear panel.

Step 2: With at least two people carefully tilt
the appliance on to its side to install the castor
wheels. Use a spanner and the supplied nuts
and washers to install the wheels to the base
of the appliance.
Step 3: Add the fuel bed.
Note: for this step you will need a small step
ladder or platform as the fuel beds need to be
installed from the top of the appliance.
GLASS OR LAVA ROCK FOR STAR OR
PAN BURNER
This should be done outside. Cover the burner
with either glass or lava rock fuel beds. Do NOT
tip the bag of glass or lava rock onto the burner
as the bags usually contain some fine dust
which could clog the burner jets. It is better to
empty the bags into a suitable container and
then place the glass or rock around the burner
by hand. Make sure the area around the pilot
light is kept clear to allow air to reach.

Step 4: Install the top safety glass to the top of
the appliance with the supplied glass brackets
and screws using a hex key. This will need to be
done with two people.
