INSTALLATION MANUAL

1.Safety P ecautions

The “SAFETY PRECAUTIONS” indicated in this operating manua contain important information pertaining to your safety. Be

sure to observe them. For future use, such as re ocating or repairing the unit, request the user to keep this manua together

with the operating manua of the indoor unit.

2.Checking Pa ts

This mark indicates procedures which, if improper y performed, cou d ead to serious injury

or death.

for remova and insta ation of this unit.

Do not remove existing standard gri for your safety.

Wind baff e is designed for insta ation over the exist-

ing gri . Remova of existing gri wi expose rotating

parts of the fan and can cause injury.

・

Do not ean or p ace any body weight onto the wind

baff e, as an accident cou d occur.

・

Do not touch sharp edges. Sharp edges may cause

persona injury.

・

Disconnect a power to the unit before performing

maintenance or service. E ectrica shock and persona

injury cou d resu t.

・

Do not modify the wind baff e. Any modification may

resu t in persona injury or equipment fai ure.

Prevent any unit wiring from becoming pinched or

cut when insta ing the wind baff e.

3.Installation Dimensions

When the wind baff es are used insta units as shown in the i ustrations be ow. Ensure minimum c earances are met to a wa

or other obstruction. When insta ing mu tip e units, ensure unit minimum c earances are met or exceeded.

Fai ure to provide minimum c earances wi affect unit performance. Nuisance unit cyc ing or premature equipment fai ure may

resu t. For other insta ation c earances, referring to the unit insta ation manua .

4.Installation Inst uctions

(1) Remove existing screws as shown in Figure 1. (Do not ose the screws.) Using the same screws, ocate and secure the wind

baff e as shown in Figure 2.

(2) Using the se f-tapping screw provided, secure the wind baff e upper right corner as shown in Figure 3.

IMPORTANT- Use caution when insta ing ALL screws, as they must not be overtightened!
