General safety standards
ATTENTION!
Please read the entire instructions. Failure to follow
the instructions below may result in causing electric
shock, re and / or serious injuries.
Keep all safety information and instructions for fu-
ture reference.
In this safety information the term “power tool” refers to
mains operated power tools (with power cord) and bat-
tery operated power tools (without power cord).
Workplace
• Keep your work area clean and tidy. Cluttered and
dark working areas are accident-prone.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres,
where ammable liquids, gases or dust are present.
Power tools generate sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
• Keep children and other persons away while operating
a power tool. Distractions can be a reason for losing
control of the tool.
Electrical safety
• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Do not modify
the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs
with grounded devices. Unmodied plugs and match-
ing outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid physical contact with grounded surfaces such as
pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. If your body
is grounded the risk of an electric shock increases.
• Do not expose the power tool to rain or wet conditions.
Water that enters a power tool will increase the risk
of electric shock.

WE RECOMMEND:
Read through the complete text in the operating instruc-
tions before installing and commissioning the device.
The operating instructions are intended to help the user
to become familiar with the machine and take advan-
tage of its application possibilities in accordance with the
recommendations. The operating instructions contain
important information on how to operate the machine
safely, professionally and economically, how to avoid
danger, costly repairs, reduce downtimes and how to in-
crease reliability and service life of the machine.
In addition to the safety regulations in the operating
instructions, you have to meet the applicable regula-
tions that apply for the operation of the machine in your
country. Keep the operating instructions package with
the machine at all times and store it in a plastic cover
to protect it from dirt and moisture. Read the instruction
manual each time before operating the machine and
carefully follow its information. The machine can only be
operated by persons who were instructed concerning the
operation of the machine and who are informed about
the associated dangers. The minimum age requirement
must be complied with. In addition to the safety require-
ments in these operating instructions and your country’s
applicable regulations, you should observe the generally
recognized technical rules concerning the operation of
woodworking machines.

preventive safety measures prevent starting the tool
accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of children’s reach. Do not
allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or these instruc-
tions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dan-
gerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Keep the power tools in good condition. Check that
moving parts are functioning smoothly and do not lock,
whether parts are broken or for any other condition
that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged,
have the power tool repaired before use. Many acci-
dents are associated with poorly maintained power
tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main-
tained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are likely
to block less and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool, the accessories, bits, etc. in ac-
cordance with these instructions and in the manner
intended for the particular type of equipment. Take
into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Using power tools for operations different
from those intended can lead to hazardous situations.
Maintenance and Service
• Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair
workshop using only original replacement parts. This
will ensure that after repairs the safety of the power
tool is maintained.
• Damaged cords must be replaced by our after-sales
service.
• If a power plug is damaged, it must be replaced by a
special spare plug provided by our after-sales service.
If the supply cord of the tools is damaged, it must be
replaced by a special cord, which is available from the
manufacturer or its after-sales service. The replace-
ment of the connecting cord must be carried out by our
after-sales service or by a qualied repair workshop.
Additional safety instructions for electri-
cally operated mixing units
• Use the auxiliary handles that come with the tool. Los-
ing control over the tool can result in personal injury.
• Grip the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when
carrying out any work where the tool may come in
contact with hidden wiring or its own cord. A contact
with a live wire can cause the metal parts of the tool
to become live which poses the risk of electric shock.
• Always fasten the mixer element properly and secure-
ly on the drive shaft; by all means, remove the adjust-
ment tool before operating the power tool.
• Under no circumstances should you mix explosive or
ammable substances.
• When mixing, always wear the appropriate personal
protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear pro-
tection, resistant gloves and a respirator.
• Do not use this tool to prepare food, as it cannot be
cleaned in a way that would comply with relevant hy-
giene regulations.
• Do not abuse the cord; do not use the cord to carry
or hang up the power tool or to unplug the power tool
from the mains. Keep the power cord away from heat,
oil, sharp edges or the power tool’s moving parts.
Damaged or tangled power cords will increase the
risk of electric shock.
• When operating a power tool outdoors, use only ex-
tension cords that are approved for outdoor use. The
use of an extension cord that is adapted for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
• If working with the power tool in a damp location can-
not be avoided, use a ground fault circuit interrupter.
The use of a ground fault circuit interrupter reduces
the risk of electric shock. Always check whether the
mains voltage complies with the voltage specied on
the nameplate of the power tool.
Personal safety
• Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common
sense when operating a power tool. Do not use the
power tool while you are tired or under the inuence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inatten-
tion while operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear safe-
ty glasses. Safety equipment such as a dust mask,
non-skid safety shoes, a hard hat or ear protection
depending on the type and use of the power tool will
reduce personal injuries.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure that the power
tool is switched off before connecting it to the power
supply and/or battery, picking it up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or
energizing power tools that have the switch on invite
accidents.
• Remove any adjusting tool or wrench before turning
the power tool on. A wrench or a key which has been
left attached to a rotating part may induce personal
injury. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and bal-
ance at all times. This enables you to better control
the power tool in situations which cannot be foreseen.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewel-
lery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair
may get caught in moving parts.
• If dust extraction and collection units are installed,
make sure that these are connected and properly
used. Using such devices reduces hazards associ-
ated with dust.
Power tool use and care
• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power
tool for your application. With the correct power tool
you will do the job better and safer at the specied
power rate.
• Do not use the power tool if it has a defective switch.
A power tool, which cannot be turned on or off with the
switch, is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Unplug the power cord from the outlet and/or remove
the battery before making any adjustments to the tool,
changing accessories, or storing the power tool. Such

Sound emission
Noise emission values are measured according to the
relevant standards.
Sound pressure level LpA 89 dB(A)
Uncertainty K 3 dB(A)
Sound power level LwA 100 dB(A)
Uncertainty K 3 dB(A)
Vibration ah5.67 m/s²
Uncertainty K 1.5 m/s²
• The indicated vibration emission value has been
measured using a standardized test procedure and
can be used to compare one electric tool with another;
• The indicated vibration emission value can also be
used in a preliminary exposure assessment.
• Depending on how the power tool is used, the vibra-
tion emission value may differ from the specied value
when the power tool is actually used;
• Try to keep the exposure to vibrations as low as pos-
sible. Actions reducing the exposure to vibration in-
clude, for example, wearing gloves when the tool is
used and limiting the working time. Here, all aspects
of the operating cycle must be considered (for exam-
ple, the times when the tool is turned off, and those
when the tool is turned on but running without load).
Storage
• The whole machine and all accessories must be thor-
oughly cleaned.
• Store the machine always out of children’s reach. Put
it in a secure position in a dry and safe place where
no extremely high or extremely low temperatures may
occur.
• Protect the stored machine from direct sunlight; put it
in a darkened area, if feasible.
• Do not wrap the machine into bags or covers made of
nylon or plastic, as dampness may develop.
Operating the power tool
1) Thread the mixing paddle (1) clockwise into the mix-
ing element (2). (Fig.2)
2) Drive the assembled mixing paddle onto the drive
shaft (3). (Fig.3)
DANGER!
Use only a mixing paddle that is designed and suit-
able for the material to be mixed. A wrong mixing
paddle may put strain on the power tool which may
damage the tool and lead to accidents!
Remove the mixing paddle from the drive shaft by turn-
ing it anticlockwise. The paddle may sit quite tight in its
holding xture. If this is the case, the xture must be se-
cured with a key against turning with the paddle. (Fig.4)
Turning on and off
Turning on (Fig.1)
Press and hold the circuit breaker (5) for the ON / OFF
switch; now you can press the ON / OFF switch (4) to
start the handheld mixer. Once the tool is running prop-
erly you can release the ON / OFF switch, turning off the
circuit breaker (5).
Turning off (Fig.1)
Release the ON / OFF switch (4). The circuit breaker for
the ON / OFF switch (5) turns off automatically.
Speed controller (Fig.5)
With the speed controller (6), the power tool’s speed can
be gradually adjusted. The type of material to be mixed
determines the speed rate that is required. Practice will
teach you the optimal speed required by the respective
material.
Cleaning and Maintenance
ATTENTION!
Unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet be-
fore starting any work on the power tool.
Cleaning
• Keep the air vents of the machine clean in order to
prevent overheating.
