Basic Setup & Operations

Step 4 - Plug in the Player

Connect the player’s

power cord to a

standard wall outlet.

Step 1 - Insert Remote Control

Batteries

1 Remove the battery cover from the back of

the remote control.

2 Insert the supplied batteries, paying

attention to the correct polarities (+ and -).

3 Replace the cover.

Step 2 - Connect Audio

Connect the supplied audio cable (red and

white) from the Audio jacks on the rear of the

player to the Audio Inputs on your television.

Step 3 - Connect Video

Connect the supplied video cable (yellow) from

the Video jack on the rear of the player to the

Video Input on your television.

help you set up and start using the player

as quickly as possible.

Step 1 - Open Disc Tray

Press the

OPEN/CLOSE

button to

open the disc tray.

Step 2 - Insert Disc

Place the disc in the center of the tray

with the label side facing up.

Step 3 - Close Disc Tray

Press the

OPEN/CLOSE

button

again to close the disc tray and load

the disc.

Step 4 - Play Disc

The DVD player starts playback or opens the DVD

disc menu automatically.

Step 5 - Navigating Disc Menus

Press

to display the disc menu for your DVD.

to highlight menu options and

• To select a chapter directly, enter the chapter

number (e.g., for chapter 5, press 5; for chapter

25, press 10+, 10+, 5).

• If you are not sure how to select the Video input on your

TV, check your TV user’s guide or look for a button labeled

INPUT, VIDEO, LINE, AUX, or TV/VIDEO on your TV

remote control.

Step 6- Select Video Input on TV

Set your TV to its appropriate Video input to view the player.
