Installation Instructions

BEFORE INSTALLATION

All wiring must comply with local electrical codes and

ordinances or as specified on installation wiring diagrams.

Wall module wiring can be sized from 1.5 to 0.34 mm2,

depending on the application. The maximum length of wire

from a device to a wall module is 305 m. Twisted-pair wire is

recommended for wire runs longer than 30.5 m.

CAUTION

EMI Noise Introduction.

Risk of erratic system operation.

Keep wiring at least 300 mm away from large induc-

tive loads such as motors, line starters, lighting

ballasts and large power distribution panels. During

installations, try to avoid areas of high EMI noise.

Run wall module wiring separately from 50 Vac or

greater power wiring.

COVER DISASSEMBLY

The CLCM1T,2T,4T,5T,6T come packed with a sub-base that

mounts separately for ease of installation; to disassemble the

cover and the sub-base, see Fig. 1.

INSTALLATION

The CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T packages include two setpoint dials.

By default, the “Celsius Relative” type is mounted, but can be

easily replaced with the “Celsius Absolute” type by pulling the

one dial off and inserting the other one.

Mount the wall modules on an inside wall approx. 1.3 m from

the floor (or in the specified location) to allow exposure to the

average zone temperature.

NOTE: Maintain a mounting clearance of approx. 10 cm on

both sides of the module in order to allow a free

airflow for the temperature sensor and accessibility

of the setpoint dial.

Do not mount the wall modules on an outside wall,

on a wall containing water pipes, or near air ducts.

Avoid locations that are exposed to discharge air

from registers or radiation from lights, appliances, or

the sun.

The wall modules can be mounted on a 60-mm wall outlet

box using 3.5-mm screws or on a wall (see Fig. 2). When

mounting directly on a wall, use the type of screws

appropriate for the wall material. See Fig. 2 for bore-holes

and mounting dimensions (the CLCM5T,6T are shown but

the dimensions are the same for all models).

Mounting Procedure

1. Disassemble the cover as shown in Fig. 1.

2. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T, only: Pull off the setpoint dial.

3. Mount the wall module onto the wall outlet box, or bore

wall holes as specified in Fig. 2 and mount the wall

module with appropriate screws.

4. Connect the wires to the terminal block according to

section “Wiring”.

5. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T, only: Insert the setpoint dial and turn

it clockwise as far as possible.

6. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T, only: Make sure that the dial's

position is such that the 30 (°C absolute scale) or the +5

(°C relative scale) points to the right-hand side of the wall

module (see Fig. 3).

7. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T, only: If the dial does not have the

correct position, pull the dial off again and reinsert it with

the correct orientation.

8. Remount the cover as depicted in Fig. 1 and make sure

that the tab on the underside engages.

Wiring with PANTHER

NOTE: You should always first connect the wall module and

only then install the PANTHER's software.

Wire the terminal blocks as follows:

1. Strip 5 mm of insulation from the conductor.

2. Insert the wire in the required terminal location and

tighten the screw to complete the termination.

3. Verify wall module wiring with Table 3 or Table 3 and

jumper setting with Fig. 6.

IMPORTANT

Screw-type terminal blocks are designed to accept no

more than one 1.5 mm2conductor.

module as shown in Fig. 1 and make sure that the tab on the

underside engages.

Jumper Setting with PANTHER

The jumper setting of the CLCM4T,5T,6T with the PANTHER

Wire the terminal blocks as follows:

Limiters

The limiters can be used to restrict the range within which the

setpoint dial can be varied. After opening the housing, insert

the limiters approximately opposite the max. and min. values

of the desired temperature adjustment range.

VOR DER INSTALLATION

Die Verdrahtung muss nach den gültigen Vorschriften und

den Projekt-Ausführungsunterlagen durchgeführt werden.

Es können Aderquerschnitte von 1,5 bis 0,34 mm2verwendet

werden. Der maximale Abstand zwischen Raumbediengerät

und Regler beträgt 300 m. Bei Kabellängen über 30 m wird

verdrillte Leitung empfohlen.

ACHTUNG

Elektromagnetische Störspannungen.

Gefahr von Funktionsstörungen.

Bei der Verkabelung muß ein Mindestabstand von

300 mm zu großen induktiven Lasten wie Motoren,

Leistungsschützen, Drosseln und großen Elektro-

verteilungen eingehalten werden. Bei der Installation

sind Bereiche mit hohen magnetischen Feldstärken

zu vermeiden.

Die Verkabelung des Raumbediengeräts nicht

parallel zu spannungsführenden Leitungen mit mehr

als 50 Vac ausführen.

GEHÄUSE ÖFFNEN

Die Raumbediengeräte CLCM1T,2T,4T,5T,6T besitzen eine

Grundplatte, die zur einfachen Installation separat montiert

wird. Entfernen Sie das Oberteil wie in Abb. 1 dargestellt.

INSTALLATION

Die Lieferung der CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T beinhaltet zwei Soll-

wertscheiben. Standardmäßig ist die Scheibe mit dem Auf-

druck -5..+5 für relative Sollwertverstellung montiert. Diese

kann jedoch einfach mit dem Typ für °C absolut (12..30°C)

ersetzt werden. Die Raumbediengeräte sollten an innen-

liegenden Wänden in etwa 1,4 m Höhe vom Fußboden (oder

gemäß Installationsplan) montiert werden, um die Erfassung

der repräsentativen Raumtemperatur zu ermöglichen.

HINWEIS: Um freien Luftstrom und den Zugang zum Soll-

wertsteller zu erlauben, sollte das Raumbedien-

gerät auf beiden Seiten einen Freiraum von

mindestens 10 cm haben. Es sollte nicht an

Außenwänden, an Wänden mit Wasserleitungen

oder in der Nähe von Lüftungskanälen montiert

werden. Montageorte mit Beeinflussung von

Zuluftströmen oder thermischen Einflüssen von

Beleuchtung, elektrischen Geräten oder der

Sonnenstrahlung sind zu vermeiden.

Die Raumbediengeräte können mit geeigneten Schrauben

auf eine 60 mm Unterputzdose oder direkt auf der Wand

montiert werden. Siehe Abb. 2 für Befestigungslöcher und

Abmessungen (gezeigt ist das CLCM5T,6T, jedoch sind die

Abmessungen für alle Modelle gleich).

Montageschritte

1. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse, wie in Abb. 1 gezeigt.

2. Nur CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T: Ziehen Sie die Sollwertscheibe

ab.

3. Montieren Sie das Gerät auf der Unterputzdose oder

bohren Sie Befestigungslöcher gemäß Abb. 2 und das

Gerät mit geeigneten Schrauben montieren.

4. Schließen Sie die Verdrahtung entsprechend der

Angaben im Abschnitt “Verdrahtung”.

5. Nur CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T: Setzen sie die Sollwertscheibe

ein und drehen diese so weit wie möglich im

Uhrzeigersinn.

6. Nur CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T: Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der

Aufdruck "30" (bei °C absolut Skala) oder "+5" (bei

relativer Skala) auf der rechten Seite des Raum-

bediengerätes befindet (siehe Abb. 3).

7. Nur CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T: Ziehen Sie die Scheibe bei

inkorrekter Position ab und stecken sie in richtiger

Position wieder auf.

8. Montieren Sie das Gehäuse gemäß Abb. 1 und stellen

sicher, dass der Riegel an der Unterseite einrastet.

HINWEIS: Immer zuerst das Wandmodul anschließen und

erst dann die PANTHER-Software installieren.

Nehmen Sie die Anschlüsse wie folgt vor:

1. Entfernen Sie auf ca. 5 mm Länge die Isolierung von den

anzuschließenden Adern.

2. Führen Sie die Drähte in die gewünschte Klemme ein und

drehen Sie die Schraube fest.

3. Überprüfen Sie die Verdrahtung nach Tabelle 2 und

Tabelle 3 sowie die Einstellung der Steckbrücken nach

Abb. 6.

WICHTIG!

Die Schraubklemmen sind nur für die Aufnahme

einer Ader mit 1,5 mm2Querschnitt ausgelegt.

HINWEIS: Dies ist die Werkseinstellung.

Limiter

Mit den Limitern kann der Temperaturbereich, innerhalb

dessen sich der Sollwert manuell verstellen läßt, begrenzt

werden. Die Ober- und Untergrenzen des Temperatur-

bereichs werden (nach Öffnen des Gehäuses) dadurch

definiert, daß die Limiter gegenüber den gewünschten

Maximal- bzw. Minimalsollwerten in die Sollwertscheibe

eingesteckt werden.

AVANT L’INSTALLATION

Le câblage doit être conforme aux normes et arrêtés locaux

et aux schémas de câblage de l’installation.

Selon l’application, on pourra utiliser du fil de 1,5 à 0.34 mm2.

La longueur maximale du conducteur entre appareil et un

module d’ambiance est de 30,5 m. Pour des longueurs

supérieures à 30,5m, il est recommandé d’utiliser des paires

torsadées.

ATTENTION

Parasites électromagnétiques.

Risque de fonctionnement aléatoire du système.

Les conducteurs doivent se trouver au moins à

300 mm de fortes charges inductives, tels que les

moteurs, démarreurs directs, ballasts de lampe à

décharge et tableaux de distribution. Lors des

opérations d’installation, s’efforcer d’éviter ces zones.

Il faut séparer les fils du module d’ambiance des

conducteurs d’alimentation en courant alternatif 50 V

ou plus.

DEMONTAGE DU COUVERCLE

Les combinés CLCM1T,2T,4T,5T,6T sont livrés avec une

embase à monter séparément pour faciliter l’installation; pour

le démonter de l’embase, voir Fig. 1.

INSTALLATION

Les combinés CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T sont livrés avec deux

molettes de réglage du point de consigne. Par défaut, c’est la

molette graduée en degrés Celsius relatifs qui est en place.

On pourra la retirer et remplacer facilement par la molette

graduée en degrés Celsius absolus. Montez les combinés

d’ambiance sur un mur intérieur à environ 1.3 m du sol (ou à

l’emplacement spécifié) de façon qu’ils soient exposés à la

température moyenne de la zone.

NOTE: Laissez un dégagement d’environ 10 cm des deux

côtés du module pour permettre la libre circulation

de l’air au niveau de la sonde ainsi que l’accès à la

molette de réglage du point de consigne.

Ne pas monter les combinés d’ambiance sur un mur

extérieur, sur un mur renfermant des canalisations

d’eau ou à proximité de gaines de ventilation. Evitez

les emplacements exposés à de l’air refoulé par des

registres ou au rayonnement de lampes, d’appareils

électriques ou du soleil.

Les combinés d’ambiance peuvent être montés sur une boîte

d’encastrement de 60 mm de diamètre à l’aide de vis 3,5 mm

ou sur un mur (voir Fig. 2). Pour la fixation directe sur un

mur, utiliser le type de vis approprié à la matière du mur. Voir

Fig. 2 pour le perçage des trous de fixation et les dimensions

de montage (la figure représente les CLCM5T,6T mais les

dimensions sont identiques pour tous les modules).

Procédure d’installation

1. Démontez le couvercle comme le montre la Fig. 1.

2. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T seulement: Retirez la molette de

réglage du point de consigne en tirant.

3. a) Montez le combiné sur une boîte d’encastrement ou

b) percez des trous dans un mur (voir Fig. 2) et montez le

combiné avec les vis appropriées.

4. Raccordez les fils au bornier conformément aux

indications de la section ‘’câblage’’.

5. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T seulement: Mettre en place la molette

de réglage du point de consigne et la tourner à fond dans

le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.

6. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T seulement: assurez-vous que la

graduation 30 (température absolue) ou + 5 (température

relative) de la molette se trouve du côté droit du combiné

(voir Fig. 3).

7. CLCM2T,4T,5T,6T seulement: Si la molette n’est pas

dans la position correcte, la retirer puis la replacer

correctement.

8. Remontez le couvercle comme indiqué sur la Fig. 1 et

assurez-vous que la languette s’enclenche.

NOTE: Vous devez toujours connecter le module mural en

premier puis ensuite installer la programmation du

Panther.

Câblez les borniers de la manière suivante:

1. Dénudez le conducteur sur 5 mm.

2. Introduire le fil dans la borne adéquate et serrez la vis.

3. Vérifiez la position des cavaliers en se référant à la Fig. 6

et le câblage du combiné en se référant aux Tables 2 / 3.

Selon qu’un ventilateur aura été raccordé ou non, placez les

cavaliers sur les CLCM4T, 5T, 6T comme indiqué selon Fig.

IMPORTANT

Les bornes à vis ne peuvent recevoir qu’un seul

conducteur de 1.5 mm2.

Lorsque tout le câblage est terminé, repositionnez le

couvercle comme indiqué en Fig. 1 et assurez-vous que

l’onglet sur la face arrière soit engagé.

Câblage (SERVAL)

Câblez les borniers de la manière suivante:

1. Dénudez le conducteur sur 5 mm.

2. Introduire le fil dans la borne adéquate et serrez la vis.

3. Vérifiez la position des cavaliers en se référant à la Fig. 7

et le câblage du combiné en se référant aux Tableaux 4 /

IMPORTANT

Les borniers sont conçus pour recevoir au maximum

1 conducteur de 1.5 mm2.

Lorsque tout le câblage est terminé, repositionnez le

couvercle comme indiqué en Fig. 1 et assurez-vous que

l’onglet sur la face arrière soit engagé.

Position des cavaliers (SERVAL)

Le réglage usine des cavaliers des CLCM4T,5T,6T avec le

SERVAL est indiqué sur la Fig. 7.

Limiteurs

Les limiteurs peuvent être utilisés pour limiter la plage de

réglage de la molette servant au réglage du point de

consigne. Après ouverture du boîtier, placez les limiteurs

approximativement à l’opposé des valeurs max. et min. de la

plage de réglage de la température souhaitée.

Installatie-instructies

VOOR DE INSTALLATIE

Alle bedrading dient te voldoen aan de lokale elektrische

voorschriften en eisen en te zijn aangesloten volgens de

specificaties van het aansluitschema.

Aansluiting van de wandmodule is mogelijk met

draaddiameters van 0,4 tot 1,5 mm2, afhankelijk van de

toepassing. De maximum draadlengte van de apparatuur

naar de wandmodule is 30 m. Voor bedradingen langer dan

30 m. wordt een twisted-pair bedrading aanbevolen.

Kans op onregelmatige systeemwerking.

De bedrading dient op tenminste 305 mm afstand te

liggen van grote inductieve belastingen zoals

motoren, startmotoren, verlichtingsarmaturen en

schakel- en verdeelinrichtingen met grote vermogens.

Gedurende de installatie dienen de gebieden met een

hoge EM-invloed zoveel mogelijk te worden

vermeden.

Leg de bedrading voor het wandmodule gescheiden

van bedrading met spanningen boven de 50 Vac of

met grote capaciteiten.

AFDEKKAP VERWIJDEREN

De CLCM1T, 2T, 4T, 5T en 6T zijn uitgerust met een losse

aansluitplaat die eenvoudig kan worden geïnstalleerd.

Zie Fig. 1 voor het verwijderen van de afdekkap van de

aansluitplaat.

INSTALLATIE

De types CLCM2T, 4T, 5T en 6T worden geleverd met twee

instelschalen. Standaard wordt de relatieve schaal

gemonteerd, deze kan echter eenvoudig worden vervangen

door de absolute schaal.

Monteer het wandmoduul op een binnenmuur op een afstand

van ongeveer 1,5 m vanuit de vloer (of op een opgegeven

positie) voor een optimale meting van een juiste

ruimtetemperatuur.

OPM.: Zorg voor een vrije ruimte van ongeveer 10 cm aan

beide zijden van het module om een ongehinderde

luchtstroom over de temperatuurvoeler en goede

toegang tot de instellingen te verkrijgen.

Monteer het wandmoduul nooit op een buitenwand,

een wand met verwarmingsleidingen of in de buurt

van luchtkanalen. Montage op locaties die

veelvuldig worden blootgesteld aan warmtestraling

van apparaten, verlichting of zonlicht dienen te

worden vermeden.

Het wandmoduul kan met schroeven van 3,5 mm worden

gemonteerd op een 60 mm muurdoos of direct op de wand.

(zie Fig. 2). Wanneer het module direct op de wand wordt

aangebracht, dient men schroeven te gebruiken die zijn

afgestemd op het materiaal van de wand.

Zie Fig. 2 voor boorgaten en montageafmetingen (afgebeeld

zijn de CLCM5T en 6T. De maten gelden voor alle

uitvoeringen).
