Staging Instructions

For the first operation of Honeywell Dolphin 60s

Insert SIM Card (And Battery)

1. First open reverse side of the device. To do so, unlock fastener of the back flap on the

lower reverse side.

2. Take out the battery. Pay attention to the contacts on the upper right side.

3. Lift rubber cap of the slot for the SIM card.

4. Loosen the SIM card mounting (metal rail) by slightly sliding it downwards. It can now be

lifted. Insert the SIM card with the chip pointed downward, close mounting and fix it by

sliding it backward. (Step 4 is illustrated in the following pictures)

Preparation For Installation

To connect the device to a computer, only the original data cable can be used.

Furthermore, the software “Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center” is needed. It can

be downloaded here:

Installation

1. Connect the device with the computer using the original cable.

2. The Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center opens.

3. Select the menu item shown in the following picture:

4. Enter the following settings:

5. Afterwards select the following menu item: IMPORTANT! Do this step before this step

switched away by itself. (Otherwise it wound use the correct drivers. This would make

problems in later part of the stating process.)

6. Navigate to the register:

Computer\Honeywell Dolphin 60s\IPSM\Honeywell\AutoInstall

7. Delete the superfluous files so that only the ones shown in the following illustration are

left to be seen:

8. Insert the now following files to the same register. You can finde them in the register:

https://mdesrv.lekkerland.com/mdm/sovia/Download/soviaMDMClient/ (for the

productive system) or under

https://mdetst.lekkerland.com/mdm/sovia/Download/soviaMDMClient/ (for the test

system) Always search for the most current versions according to the version number

here! (The registers are named after the version numbers)

9. Afterwards separate the connection of the device to the computer and only then proceed

with the following steps!

10. Please check the settings of the system time.

a. Leave the main menu of the Sovia Client via the red cross in the top right corner.

Then exit and confirm with „Ja“ (Yes).

b. Exit the MDE Client in which you are now via the button „Beenden“ (Exit) in the

context menu.

c. Confirm with „Ja“ (Yes) and enter the password 5010.

d. You are now in the Windows menu. Click on the Windows button now.

e. Select the button “Settings”and then the button “Clock & Alarms”.

f. If necessary, change the date and time settings to your current time(also time

zone).

g. Finish the settings with “OK” and return to the Windows menu by clicking on the

Windows button. Then return to the Client via the button “MDE” in the Windows

menu.

11. Carry out a so-called Clean-Boot. To do so, press the green and blue key (see following

picture) at the same time for 6 seconds.

12. On the Boot Screen (see following picture) please enter 1277. No new window will

appear for this. Just enter the code as soon as the according image section is shown.

13. As soon as you have entered this code, you can start the installation of the Sovia Client

by confirming twice with the Enter Key.

14. The installation will take some minutes. The device loads the installation data, which

have been added via the computer, and carries out a reboot afterwards. During this you

do not have to make any entries.

15. After the system reset it is necessary to repeat steps 3 and 4. (This is necessary to find

the right driver again, which one got lost with the reset.)

16. At a later point of the installation, the following screen appears on the display. This is the

request to scan the country-specific barcodes which contain configuration settings. Scan

the corresponding barcodes in the set order with the Scan Key.

17. The installation being finished, the client’s log-in data have to be filled in.

18. For the initial entry, type in your Lekkerland customer number (10 digit, possibly with

noughts at the beginning) and the password (post code). In the case of consultant

devices (MDE devices for Lekkerland sales consultants) the box “Consultant” has to be

activated as well.

System Change

(Test system to productive system and/or change of country branch)

1. Exit the Sovia Client main menu via the red cross in the top right corner. Then exit and

confirm with “Ja” (Yes).

2. Afterwards you are in the MDE Client menu.

3. Select the context menu here (Highlighted in the picture).

4. Afterwards select “Konfiguration” (Configuration) and then “Zurücksetzen” (Reset).

5. Confirm with “Ja” (Yes) and enter the password 5010.

6. The device reboots the app. When this is done, select “Konfiguration scannen” (Scan

configuration).
