SAFETY WARNINGS
- After removing the packaging, check that the
appliance is intact. If in doubt do not use the
appliance and contact your sales agent.
- Do not leave plastic bags within the reach of
children as they are potential sources of danger.

- This appliance has been manufactured to make
milk foam and hot/cold milk based drinks only.
- This appliance is designed for and must only be
used for household purposes. All other use is
considered improper and as a result dangerous and
voids the warranty.
- The manufacturer declines all liability for any
damage deriving from improper, incorrect and
unreasonable use of the appliance.
- In the event of faults or malfunctioning of the
appliance, do not tamper with it. Failure to
observe the above warnings may compromise the
safety of the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance.

- Keep out of reach from children when in use, the
beverage will get very hot.
- During cleaning, never immerse the Support Base
in water. This is an electrical appliance.
- When using the appliance do not touch the hot
surface of the pot or the heating element.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons, in order to avoid a hazard.

IMPORTANT
When using the appliance, please prepare everything first (clean the pot, fit the blender, fill with
beverage) before placing the pot on the support base.
Please keep the heating disc clean. Don’t leave anything on the surface of heating element or on the
bottom of the pot.
OPERATION
1. Frothing Cold or Warm Milk
Fig 1 Remove the lid.
Fig 2 Press the blender onto the spigot in the bottom of the pot. Check that it rotates freely.
Fig 3 Pour the required amount of milk into the pot, up to the 350 ml max level.
(If more milk is poured into the pot you risk the beverage overflowing!)
Fig 4 Replace the lid.
Fig 5 Place the pot onto the base unit. Plug in the appliance and switch on the mains supply.
Fig 6 To froth cold milk press the selector button once so that the blue indicator light comes
on. The blender will then start to rotate the milk. The appliance will automatically switch
off after 3 minutes. If you want to stop the appliance at any time, press the selector button.
To make warm frothy milk press the selector button twice so that the red indicator
light comes on. The blender will then start to rotate the milk. After approximately 6
minutes the milk will have reached the preset temperature (~60°C) and the appliance will
automatically switch off. The hot luscious milk foam can now be poured into your cup. If
you want to stop the appliance at any time, press the selector button.
Note: If hot froth function is selected again, whilst the hot milk is still in the pot, then the
appliance will run for a further 3 minutes.

2. Frothing Hot Chocolate

Fig 8 Press the blender onto the spigot in the bottom of the pot. Check that it rotates freely.
Fig 9 Pour the required amount of milk into the pot, up to the 350 ml max level.
(If more milk is poured into the pot you risk the beverage overflowing!)
Fig10 Add the required amount of chocolate powder or pieces of chocolate bar into the pot.
Note: Around 50g of solid chocolate, added to 350ml of milk, is sufficient to make some
luscious hot chocolate.
If too much chocolate is added then the buzzer will sound and the appliance will stop.

Fig 12 Place the pot onto the base unit. Plug in the appliance and switch on the mains supply.
Fig 13 Press the selector button 3 times so that the red indicator light comes on. The blender
will start to rotate the milk. The blender will turn slowly for around 4 minutes, whilst the
chocolate melts. The blender will then turn slightly quicker for around 4 minutes to create
frothy hot chocolate. The appliance will automatically switch off. If you want to stop the
appliance at any time, press the selector button.
Note: If the hot chocolate function is selected again whilst the hot milk is still in the pot,
then the appliance will run for a further 8 minutes.
NOTE: When the Milk Frother is making hot chocolate, the blender may not initially start to turn;
depending on the amount of solid chocolate that has been added. Once the chocolate has started to
melt the blender should then start turning and mix the milk and chocolate together.
NOTE: Do not put more than the recommended amount of chocolate into the pot.

CHANGING THE BLENDER/STIRRER
The Milk frother is supplied with two Foam Blenders. These will produce a frothy drink. The Hot
Milk Blender can be used to produce a hot drink that is not frothy.
To change the blender, pull the blender upwards, at an angle to the base, to remove it from the
spigot in the base of the pot. Position the required blender onto the spigot and then press firmly
downwards. Ensure that the blender rotates freely on the spigot.
The spare blenders are located on the underside of the base unit.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the base unit after use, wait for the appliance to cool down.
When cleaning the pot, use a sponge or a soft brush together with normal washing up liquid.
Warning: Be aware of the spigot in the base of the pot when cleaning by hand.
Do not use any solvents or abrasive detergents. Sharp or hard instruments or steel wool is strictly
forbidden.
When cleaning the base unit, disconnect from the power supply and just use a damp cloth. Take
care not to wet any electrical parts. Do not wash the base unit in a dishwasher.

PROBLEM SOLVING
If the selector button is pressed and the light fails to come on, check that the appliance is plugged in
and that the power is switch on.
If the milk is not foamimg properly, check that the blender is correctly placed on the spigot in the
pot. Check that the blender is not broken and that the blender has not become jammed. Replace the
blender.
If the blender fails to rotate when the appliance is operating, stop the appliance and check that the
blender is correctly placed on the spigot in the pot. Press the blender firmly down onto the spigot
and retry the appliance. If this failed, replace the blender to check whether this resolves the problem.
New blenders are available as a spare part.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW
