Introduction:
The AVSPLIT-30 allows one HD source device to support up to two HDTV displays. All
output displays will have the same quality image as the source.
The amplifier and equalizer functions offer solutions for Home Theater.

Connecting and Operation:
How to connect the 1×2 HDMI splitter to your devices
1. Connect the HDMI cable from the HD source to the HDMI splitter input.
2. Connect the HDMI cables from your displays (monitor or projector) to the outputs of
the splitter.
3. Standard resolution of outputs set up:
The resolution of the first device plugged into the splitter’s output will be the default
resolution of the other output. (If two HDTV displays are connected to the splitter
before the power was turned on, the resolution will be set by the HDTV display which
is connected to the second output port.)
4. Plug the 12VDC power supply into the splitter.
5. Push the Power Button to turn on the splitter.
6. When connections are completed, the HDTV signal will be distributed to each HDTV
display.
7. For the best performance, you should re-start the splitter power to make sure the
splitter is working well in HDCP between DVD player and display devices, when the
HDMI cable was disconnected after use last time.

Attentions:
HDMI splitter will distribute one resolution only at one time. Resolution mode will depend
on the first in or the first of the sequent display devices. Make sure your Display devices
are HDCP compliant and fully support HDCP.
Trouble Shooting:
1. When there is no picture present, please check:
• Whether all connectors connect well or not?
• Whether the connecting cable is damaged?
• Whether the HDMI splitter is reset or not?
2. How to reset the standard output resolution:
• Connect all cables and reset the HDMI splitter, the first detected port resolution
will become standard output resolution. (If there are two HDTV Displays, the first
detected port will be OUTPUT2.)
• Disconnect all cables and reset the HDMI splitter, and then connect HDMI cable
from the display, one by one. The resolution of the first plug in display will become
the standard resolution for all outputs
3. How to make sure your input and output devices are suitable with HDMI splitter?
• Whether all devices have been certified by HDMI ATC and with HDMI formal
logo?
• Whether all devices are HDCP compliant?
• Whether all HDMI cables stay in good quality as well as connectors?
• Make sure all HD displays support the same resolution (720p, 1080i, or 1080p).
4. When there is only picture displayed and without sound:
• Check the cable connection to see if it fits properly.
• Check your cable to seewhether it only supports video transmission or it is
damaged.
• HDCP may not match very well at first connection; please reset your HDMI splitter
again.
• Do you connect any output to your Video recorder? HDCP will automatically lock
up audio part.
5. When resolution could not show in 1080p?
• Make sure your sources (HD DVD Player) and displays are fully supporting
1080p.
• Make sure your HDMI cables are approved by HDMI ATC.

Einführung:
Der AVSPLIT-30 unterstützt die Ausgabe eines HD-Quellgeräts auf bis zu zwei
HDTV-Displays. Alle Ausgabedisplays werden die gleiche Bildqualität wie die Quelle
besitzen.
Die Verstärker- und Equalizerfunktionen bieten Lösungen für Heimkinosysteme.

Anschluss und Betrieb:
Anschluss des 1×2 HDMI-Splitters an Ihre Geräte
1. Verbinden Sie das HDMI-Kabel von der HD-Quelle mit dem Eingang des HDMI-
Splitter.
2. Verbinden Sie die HDMI-Kabel Ihrer Displays (Monitor oder Projektor) mit den
Ausgängen des Splitters.
3. Standardauflösung der Ausgänge einstellen:
Die Auflösung des ersten Geräts, das in den Ausgang des Splitters gesteckt wird,
gibt die Standardauflösung des anderen Ausgangs vor. (Wenn zwei HDTV-Displays
an den Splitter angeschlossen sind, bevor die Stromversorgung eingeschaltet
wurde, wird die Auflösung durch das HDTV-Display eingestellt, das an den zweiten
Ausgangsanschluss angeschlossen ist.)
4. Stecken Sie die 12 VDC Stromversorgung in den Splitter.
5. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste, um den Splitter einzuschalten.
6. Wenn die Verbindungen abgeschlossen sind, wird das HDTV-Signal an jedes HDTV-
Display verteilt.
7. Wenn das HDMI-Kabel bei der letzten Anwendung abgezogen wurde, sollten Sie den
Splitter neu starten. Somit holen Sie die beste Leistung heraus und stellen sicher,
dass der Splitter zwischen DVD-Player und Display-Geräten ordnungsgemäß in
HDCP arbeitet.

Achtung:
Der HDMI-Splitter kann nur eine Auflösung auf einmal verteilen. Der Auflösungsmodus
ist abhängig vom ersten Einschalten oder vom ersten der aufeinander folgenden
Display-Geräte. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Display-Geräte HDCP-fähig sind und
HDCP vollständig unterstützen.
Fehlersuche:
1. Wenn kein Bild vorhanden ist, prüfen Sie bitte Folgendes:
• Sind alle Steckverbinder richtig angeschlossen oder nicht?
• Ist das Anschlusskabel beschädigt?
• Wurde der HDMI-Splitter zurückgesetzt oder nicht?
2. Zurücksetzen der Standard-Ausgangsauflösung:
• Schließen Sie die Kabel an und setzen Sie den HDMI-Splitter zurück. Die erste
erkannte Anschluss-Auflösung wird die Standard-Ausgangsauflösung. (Wenn zwei
HDTV-Displays vorhanden sind, wird der erste erkannte Anschluss OUTPUT2
sein.)
• Klemmen Sie alle Kabel ab und setzen Sie den HDMI-Splitter zurück. Schließen
Sie dann das HDMI-Kabel des Displays an, eins nach dem anderen. Die Auflösung
des ersten Steckers im Display wird die Standard-Auflösung für alle Ausgänge.
3. Wie können Sie sicherstellen, dass all Ihre Eingabe- und Ausgabegeräte für HDMI-
Splitter geeignet sind?
• Wurden alle Geräte von HDMI ATC zertifiziert und mit einem HDMI-Logo
ausgezeichnet?
• Sind alle Geräte HDCP-fähig?
• Besitzen alle HDMI-Kabel und auch die Steckverbinder eine gute Qualität?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle HD-Displays die gleiche Auflösung unterstützen (720p,
1080i oder 1080p).
4. Wenn nur Bild vorhanden ist und kein Ton:
• Prüfen Sie die Kabelverbindung auf festen Sitz.
• Prüfen Sie Ihr Kabel, um festzustellen, ob es vielleicht nur Videoübertragung
unterstützt oder möglicherweise beschädigt ist.
• HDCP kann sich beim ersten Anschluss unter Umständen nicht gut anpassen;
bitte setzen Sie Ihren HDMI-Splitter erneut zurück.
• Haben Sie ein Ausgabegerät an Ihren Videorekorder angeschlossen? HDCP wird
den Audioteil automatisch sperren.
5. Wenn die Auflösung 1080p nicht angezeigt werden kann?
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Quellen (HD DVD-Player) und Displays 1080p
vollständig unterstützen.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre HDMI-Kabel von HDMI ATC genehmigt worden sind.
