Installation Scenarios
1Smart Module Installation Scenario
•The cabinet layout shown in the figure is for ease of description and does not provide
reference for engineering layout.
•If the site conditions do not meet the space requirements, contact Huawei technical support.
3
•If the outdoor unit is placed higher than the indoor unit, the maximum height deviation
between them should be less than or equal to 30 meters. Install an oil trap every 5–6 meters
in the vertical direction along the gas pipe.
•If the indoor unit is placed higher than the outdoor unit, the maximum height deviation
between them should be less than or equal to 8 meters.

Hardware Installation
1(Optional) Removing Aisle Containments
1. Remove the PAD cable.
2. Remove the gas springs.
3. Remove the cabinet doors.
4
4. Remove the top plate.
5. Remove the air director.
6. Remove an aisle containment.
7. Reinstall all components.
2Adjusting the Positions of Aisle Side Sealing Plates
1. Remove the aisle side sealing plates
from the Converged Cabinet.
2. Install sealing plate fasteners for an end
cabinet.
3. Install floating nuts for the end cabinet.
4. Install aisle side sealing plates for the end cabinet.
5
3Installing a Cabinet
•Use a measuring tape to check that the
vertical distance between the top of the 2000
mm high cabinet and the floor is 2000 mm
(+3 mm). Then use a level to check that the
cabinet is level.
•Do not remove the anchor bolts. Otherwise,
rework is required if the cabinet height does
not meet requirements.
1. Determine the cabinet position based
on the engineering layout diagram.
2. Place the end cabinet at the correct
installation position.
3. Level the cabinet using a wrench.
4. Combine cabinets.
5. Install other cabinets in the same way.
6
4(Optional) Install the eLight
1. Install the strip light. 2. Interconnect the terminals.
3. Install the eLight actuator and power
module.

4. Connect cables to the eLight system.
a. Open the rear door of the end cabinet.
b. Align one end of the support with the notch
on the rear door side of the top panel, and
hook the other end of the support to the
long strip hole on the top panel, as shown
by (1) in figure.
c. Secure the support using two screws at the
notch on the rear door side of the top panel,
as shown by (2) in figure.
7
1. (Optional) Remove the guide rails.
Moving the Mounting Bar

3. Remove an air baffle from the top of the front door of the cabinet shown in Figure (1),
rotate the air baffle by 180 degrees, and secure it to the top. Obtain the other four air baffles
from the fittings bag and secure them to the post on the front door.
2. Remove screws from the mounting bar.
5(Optional) Install an Indoor Unit
•This section applies to the scenario with three or four smart cooling products. The figures in
this document use the third cooling product as an example. If the fourth cooling product is
configured, refer to the installation method of the third cooling product. When the fourth
cooling product is installed, the layout of the control units are different. If there are only two
smart cooling products, skip this section.
•Install the rPDU before installing the third and fourth smart cooling products.
8
5. Move the two front mounting bars on the front door side 75 mm towards the cabinet rear,
and secure them to the transfer brackets. Then move the two rear mounting bars on the
middle side 50 mm towards the cabinet rear directly.
4. Obtain transfer brackets from the fitting bag of the cabinet, and install them at the six
positions shown in Figure (2).
