INSTRUCTION MANUAL

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Read the instructions. All uses guidelines must be read before start device.

2. Keep the instructions for future use.

3. Attention, use and security guidelines must be respected.

4. The device must not be used near water or be put in contact with moisture.

5. Make sure has no liquid is spilled on device and device openings.

6. Move device carefully, avoid shocks.

7. Do not block the breakdown of the device outputs.

8. Do not place the device near from a heat source (e.g. radiator). Do not expose it to the Sun.

9. Plug the device as indicate on this information form.

10. This device has a connection with overload protection (security device) decision-making. If the replacement

of decision-making is required, please you send has an experienced or the device manufacturer technician.

11. For cleaning the device, please follow the recommendations of the notice.

12. The sector cord should be unplugged a long period of use.

13. Device shall be repaired by a qualified person when:

a. the taken or the power cord is damaged,

b. objects have fallen into the apparatus or a liquid has been spilled into device,

c. device was exposes to the rain,

d. device does not work correctly without notable exterior change,

e. device fell and the subwoofer is broken.

14. The user shall not try to maintain device beyond that which is described in this information form. The

guarantee would negate.

15. Unpack all parts and remove protective material.

16. Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connections

have been made.

17. Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around the unit for

ventilation.

18. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as

vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

19. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers,

table-cloths, curtains, etc.

20. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

21. The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

This unit should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel.

Precautions for use

Installation

•Unpack all parts and remove protective material.

•Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the main voltage and before all other connections have been

made.

•Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters at the back of the unit for

ventilation.

AC connection

1. Connect the one end of the detachable power cord to the ac socket (22) and the other end to the ac outlet.

2. When you first plug the unit into the mains, the unit will go into standby mode.

3. Turn on the unit by On/Standby button (6), the TUNER LED indicator (20) will light up.

DC connection

For DC operation, please insert 6 pcs size C (UM-2) battery at batter compartment (23) as below direction:-

Listening to radio

Operation

1. Turn on the unit by On/Standby button (6), unit defaulted on Tuner mode and the TUNER LED indicator (20) will light

up.

2. Turn the tuning knob (11) to set the station frequency as desired.

3. Adjust volume knob (5) to the desired volume level.

Hints for best reception:-

- FM : the receiver has rod antenna (21) hanging at the rear cabinet. this wire should be totally unraveled and

extended for best reception.

FM & FM-stereo reception

Appliance was auto default in FM stereo mode, once receiving stereo programs. The “ FM-ST “ indicator (19) will

light up to show the FM stereo program are receiving.

Playing CD/MP3 disc

Getting start

1. Press Tuner/CD button (4) to select CD mode.

2. Open the CD compartment by pressing the CD door open/close (17). Put a CD disc into the compartment and close

the CD door.

3. Focus search is performance if disc is inside. Total number of tracks is read and will start to playback automatically.

Play / pause mode

1. If Play/Pause button (12) is pressed during playback, system go to pause mode and the play indicator will start

flashing at the LCD display (14). Press again to resume normal playback.

Stop mode

1. If Stop button (13) is pressed during play or pause mode. Go to stop mode and display total number of track on the

LCD display (14).

Skip mode (skip up /skip down )

1. During play or pause mode, if skip up button (10) is pressed it will go to next track and display the track no. and

then continuous the play or pause mode.

2. During play or pause mode, if Skip down button (10) is pressed, it will go back to the beginning of the track,

same track no. is display and continuous the play or pause mode.

3. After step 2, press skip down button (10) again, it will go to the previous track and continuous the play or pause

mode.

For MP3 disc/file

1. Place the MP3-CD to CD compartment. After focus search is performing, the total number of track will be shown on

the LCD display (14).

2. Press Skip up or Skip down (10) button to select the track number.

3. When the desired track and album is being selected, press the “ Play/Pause ” button (12) to start playback.

Remark

- Press “ Folder up or down “ button (9) on main unit can select the MP3 folder directly.

- The number of folder will display on LCD (14) for 1-2 seconds selected and then it will resume to the number of the

track being playback

Repeat/Random mode

Press the “ Rep/Ran “ button (3) during playback to select repeat and random function, a single track, single folder (MP3

only) or all the tracks can be played in difference mode as follow:-

For CD

You can listen the desired tracks or folder repeatedly by this function.

Random play

You can listen all the tracks in a random order by this function

CD / MP3 disc programming

Up to 20 tacks can be programmed for disc play in any order. Before use, be sure to press the stop button.

1. Set in CD mode.

2. Press the Memory button (2), “ MEMORY “ & “ P01 ” will appear and flashing on LCD display (14).

3. Select a desired track by using the Skip up /Skip down buttons (10).

4. Press the Memory button (3) to enter the track into the memory.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter additional tracks into the memory if necessary.

6. When all the desired tracks have been programmed, press “ Play/Pause “ button (12) to play the disc in the

order you have programmed.

7. Press “ Stop ” button (13) to terminate program play.

Press “ Stop ” button (13) at CD stop mode to cancel all programmed memory until the “ MEMORY “ indicator

disappear on LCD display (14).

For MP3 disc / file, press the “ Folder up “ button (9) to select the 1st track of next folder directly and hence to speed

up the song selection.

The programming mode will automatically stop if no button is being pressed in a period of about 30 seconds after

pressing the Memory button (3).

Remark:-

MP3 track format requirement:-

- Bit rate : 32 kbps~320kbps, sampling rate : 32kHz, 44.1kHz and 48 kHz decodable

- The performance of playing MP3 disc is various from the quality of recording disc and the method of recording.

Furthermore, the searching lead-time for MP3-CD is longer than normal CD due to difference format.

Playback of MP3 song via USB storage media

Connecting

The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 file which stored in the memory media with

USB connecting port.

1. Set the system at standby mode first or other function except USB mode.

2. Plug-in the USB pen-drive with the face up & make sure it going into completely.

Connecting the USB upside down or backwards could damage the audio system or

the storage media (USB thumb driver). Check to be sure the direction is correct

before connection.

3. Turn on the unit again by On/Standby button (6) and set press Tuner/CD button (4) to select

CD mode. Press CD/USB exchange button (8) to change to USB mode. The system will

start reading the storage media automatically after connecting, and LCD display (14) will

show the total number of MP3 files being detected.

4. Repeat the same playback procedure as playing CD/MP3 disc as above.

Remark

- The system can detect and read the file under MP3 format only at USB mode but not other music file format.

- If connect the system to MP3 player via the USB socket, due to variances in MP3 encoding format, some

MP3 player may not be able to play via the USB socket. This is not a malfunction of the system.

- USB port does not support connection with USB extension cable and is not designed for communication

with computer directly

- Due to ErP stage two requirement and protect the environment. The unit will switch to standby mode

automatically once no any music playing over 15 minutes.

Removing of USB

To remove the USB turn off the power or switch the function mode to either cd or tuner mode first. For USB port – un-plug

it by pulling out the USB socket directly

KLASSE 1

BELAGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:

1. Lees de instructies. Alle gebruiksrichtlijnen moeten worden gelezen vóór het apparaat wordt gebruikt.

2. Bewaar de instructies voor toekomstig gebruik.

3. Let op, gebruiks- en veiligheidsrichtlijnen moeten in acht worden genomen.

4. Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt in de buurt van water of in contact komen met vocht.

5. Zorg ervoor dat u geen vloeistof morst op het apparaat en de openingen op het apparaat.

6. Verplaats het apparaat voorzichtig, voorkom schokken.

7. Blokkeer de openingen en de uitgangen van het apparaat niet.

8. Plaats het apparaat niet in de buurt van een warmtebron (bijv. radiator). Stel het niet bloot aan zonlicht.

9. Sluit het apparaat aan zoals aangegeven in deze handleiding.

10. Dit apparaat beschikt over een aansluiting met bescherming tegen overbelasting (veiligheidsapparaat). Als

de bescherming moet worden vervangen, roep dan de hulp in van een ervaren technicus of een technicus

van de fabrikant van het apparaat.

11. Volg de aanwijzingen in de handleiding als u het apparaat wilt reinigen.

12. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat voor een lange periode niet gebruikt.

13. Het apparaat moet worden gerepareerd door een gekwalificeerd persoon als:

a. de stekker of het netsnoer is beschadigd,

b. er voorwerpen in het apparaat vallen of vloeistoffen in het apparaat zijn gemorst,

14. De gebruiker moet niet proberen om het apparaat te onderhouden op manieren die niet in deze handleiding

zijn beschreven. Als de gebruiker dit toch doet, dan kan de garantie vervallen.

15. Pak alle onderdelen uit en verwijder het beschermingsmateriaal.

16. Sluit het apparaat niet aan op het lichtnet voordat u de spanning van het lichtnet heeft gecontroleerd en alle

andere kabels zijn aangesloten.

17. Bedek de ventilatieopeningen niet en zorg ervoor dat er een ruimte van enkele centimeters rond het

apparaat is voor ventilatie.

18. Het apparaat mag niet worden blootgesteld aan druppend of spattend water en er mogen geen voorwerpen

gevuld met vloeistof, zoals vazen, op het apparaat worden geplaatst.

19. De ventilatie mag niet worden gehinderd door de ventilatieopeningen te bedekken met voorwerpen zoals

kranten, tafelkleden, gordijnen, etc.

20. Plaats geen voorwerpen met open vlam, zoals kaarsen, op het apparaat.

21. De stekker wordt gebruikt om het apparaat los te koppelen van het lichtnet, zorg ervoor dat de stekker

eenvoudig bereikbaar blijft.

Let op:

Gebruik van bedieningselementen, wijzigingen of procedures anders dan beschreven in deze handleiding kunnen leiden

tot gevaarlijke blootstelling aan straling.

Het apparaat mag alleen worden aangepast of gerepareerd door gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij gebruik

Installatie

•Pak alle onderdelen uit en verwijder het beschermingsmateriaal.

•Sluit het apparaat niet aan op het lichtnet voordat u de spanning van het lichtnet heeft gecontroleerd en alle kabels

zijn aangesloten.

•Bedek de openingen op het apparaat niet en zorg dat er een ruimte van enkele centimeters rond het apparaat vrij is

voor voldoende ventilatie.

Aansluiten op het lichtnet

1. Sluit een uiteinde van het afneembare netsnoer in de netaansluiting (22) en het andere uiteinde in het stopcontact.

2. Het apparaat zal, nadat u het heeft aangesloten op het lichtnet, in de standbymodus gaan.

3. Zet het apparaat aan door op On/Standby (6) te drukken, de TUNER LED-indicator (20) licht op.

Gebruik met batterijen

Als u de radio wilt gebruiken met batterijen, plaats dan 6 maat C (UM-2) batterijen in het batterijcompartiment (23) zoals

hieronder aangegeven:-

Naar de radio luisteren

Bediening

1. Zet het apparaat aan door op On/Standby (6) te drukken, het apparaat start standaard in de radiomodus en de

TUNER LED-indicator (20) licht op.

2. Draai aan de afstemknop (11) om af te stemmen op de gewenste frequentie.

3. Gebruik de volumeknop (5) om het volume naar wens in te stellen.

Tips voor de beste ontvangst:-

- FM : de ontvanger is uitgerust met een staafantenne (21) op de achterkant van de behuizing. Deze draad moet

helemaal worden ontrafeld en uitgestrekt voor de beste ontvangst.

FM & FM-stereo ontvangst

Het toestel kwam automatisch standaard in de FM-stereomodus, nadat het een keer stereoprogramma's had

ontvangen. De “ FM-ST “-indicator (19) zal oplichten om aan te geven dat de zender in stereo wordt ontvangen.

Afspelen van CD/MP3-disc

Aan de slag

1. Druk op Tuner/CD (4) om de CD-modus te selecteren.

2. Open de CD-deur door op CD-deur openen/sluiten (17) te drukken. Plaats een CD in het compartiment en sluit de

CD-deur.

3. De disc wordt gelezen nadat deze is geplaatst. Het totaal aantal tracks wordt gelezen en het afspelen start

automatisch.

Afspelen / Pauzeren

1. Als Play/Pause (12) wordt ingedrukt tijdens het afspelen, dan zal het afspelen worden gepauzeerd en de

afspeelindicator zal knipperen op het LCD-display (14). Druk nogmaals op de knop om het afspelen te hervatten.

Stop

1. Als Stop (13) wordt ingedrukt tijdens het afspelen of als het afspelen is gepauzeerd, dan zal het apparaat in de

stopmodus gaan en het totaal aantal tracks tonen op het LCD-display (4).

Vooruitspoelen/Terugspoelen (skip up /skip down )

1. Druk tijdens het afspelen of als het afspelen is gepauzeerd op Skip up (10) om naar de volgende track te gaan,

het nieuwe tracknummer zal worden getoond en het afspelen gaat verder indien het apparaat in de afspeelmodus is.

2. Druk tijdens het afspelen of als het afspelen is gepauzeerd op Skip down (10) om naar het begin van de track te

gaan, het tracknummer verandert niet en het afspelen hervat bij het begin van de track als het apparaat in de

afspeelmodus is.

3. Druk na stap 2 nogmaals op Skip down (10) om naar de vorige track te gaan, het afspelen gaat verder indien

het apparaat in de afspeelmodus is.

Voor MP3-disc/bestand

1. Plaats de MP3-CD in het CD-compartiment. Nadat de disc is ingelezen, zal het totaal aantal tracks op het

LCD-display (14) worden getoond.

2. Druk op Skip up of Skip down (10) om het nummer van de track te selecteren.

3. Als de gewenste track is bereikt, druk dan op “ Play/Pause ” (12) om het afspelen te starten.

Opmerking

- Druk op “ Folder up of down “ (9) op het hoofdapparaat om direct de MP3-map te selecteren.

- Het nummer van de map wordt na het selecteren voor 1-2 seconden getoond op het LCD-display (14) en daarna zal

het nummer van de track weer worden getoond.

Herhalen/Random

Druk tijdens het afspelen op “ Rep/Ran “ (3) om de herhaal- of random-functie te selecteren. U kunt de gewenste modus

selecteren door meerdere malen op de knop te drukken. Dit gaat als volgt:-
