Before Using the Product
To begin
■ Please read the instructions stated in this manual thoroughly before operating the product.
■ Any information in this section contains information on safety thus, please read through carefully.
■ This section describes consequences and danger if the product is mishandled.
Failure to read this section may lead to serious injury or death.
Failure to handle the product in the described fashion may lead to
irreversible product damage.

Warning
In Case of Abnormalities
In case below abnormalities, switch off the power and unplug the product from the plug immediately.
Continuous use during the following enhances risk of fire, electrical shock. Please contact your supplier
for repair.
■ If abnormal noise, smell or smoke is detected.
■ If water has entered the product.
■ If unwanted debris has entered the product.
■ If the product or the power cord is damaged.
■ If video cannot be viewed due to unknown reasons.
Handling the product
■ Keep product away from severe vibrations or avoid applying shock to the product.
■ Do not dismantle the unit or modify the product.
■ Always turn the power off when connecting or disconnecting the camera cable.
Installing the product
■ Do not place the product on an unstable location.
■ Do not install the product in a location subject to risk of falling objects.
■ Do not place other items on top of the product.
■ Do not expose camera head to moisture or hazardous chemicals.
■ Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures.
■ Do not use the products in extreme moisture or condensation.
■ Do not keep the product where there are high levels of dust.
■ Do not keep the product exposed to direct sunlight or without sufficient ventilation.
■Do not keep the product exposed to flammable / corrosive gas.
Prevent high temperature when placing inside an housing.

■ Use only recommended power levels.
■ Do not modify power plugs.
■ Do not damage the power cables.
Warning
Handling Electrical Goods
■ Do not handle power plug with wet hands.
■ Unplug when not in use for long periods of time.
■ Unplug during movement.
■ When unplugging power, hold the plug and not the cable.
Do not expose power plug to high temperatures.
※Warning. Failure to follow above guidelines may cause fire or impose health risks.
Caution
During transportation please make sure the power is off and power plug is unplugged.
■ Clean the plug with dry cloth ■ Wipe the CCU clean with dry cloth ■ Pack in the original packaging.

3. Connecting with Monitor
Please prepare a monitor with HDMI input.
※When connecting via HDMI, please make sure the monitor supports 1080i 30fps, 720P 60fps, 480P 60fps video formats.
※In case of CVBS video connection, please prepare monitor with NTSC support.
This product will only output either HDMI or CVBS at once (simultaneous output is not supported).
By pressing the ENTER button on the CCU, you can switch between HDMI and CVBS output.
4. Camera Connection
Connecting the camera
Insert the camera head with the connector with red circle pointing
up.
Fixing the Camera to the connector
Once fully inserted, turn the connector clock-wise to fix the
connector securely until, outer part of the connector clicks into
place.

5. Connecting the Power Adaptor
Connect the USB Mini-B into the CCU’s power connector(DC-IN)AC adaptor into the power socket.
Note: To avoid issues, please use the adaptor specified by Mils.
6. Power ON/OFF
Power ON:The Green LED will turn on and video will be outputted to the monitor. Also, the Camera information
(current settings) will be shown for 5 seconds.
※It will take approx. 10 seconds until the video feed can be viewed.
Power OFF:The Green LED will be turned off, and the video feed will stop.
Note:When turning off after changing settings, please allow min. 5 seconds.
(If not, settings may not be saved asMin. of 5 seconds is needed for the settings to be applied)
7. Zoom
Press Right / Left Buttons to control the zoom. Max. 2x digital zoom (4 steps).
Note:The current zoom settings do not get displayed on screen.

9. Menu Settings
By pressing the Menu button on the CCU (with power turned on), Menu setting screen will be displayed.
The menu item will be highlighted green if the desired setting is selected.
Sub-Menu screen will be displayed if you select the desired setting by pressing Up / Down and ENTER while in the Menu settings
screen.

The setting will be set and saved if the select the desired setting by pressing Up / Down and ENTER while in the Sub-Menu settings
screen.
※The settings will actually be saved once the Menu settings screen is exited to LIVE screen by pressing Menu after above steps.
8. Camera Information Display
Camera information will be displayed for 5 seconds on top of the screen (camera setting information) on the LIVE screen.
