INTRODUCTION
The JEM-4 Jacques Intercom Box (JIB-4000) is an alternative product offering to the standard offering
of Jacques panel type intercoms, providing customers a great range of customisation options. The
product enables users to interface to a Jacques IP intercom system with a customer supplied
arrangement of speaker, microphone, LED and buttons. In situations where a standard Jacques
intercom panel does not fulfill a required formfactor, the JIB-4000 will likely provide a solution.

•Class-D speaker amplifier output, 2.5 W @ 4 ohm
•Built in MEMS microphone
•2 external button inputs
•2 external LED outputs
•2 changeover relay contacts
•+12 V d.c., 200 mA max output supply
•IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE)
•LED indicators for troubleshooting
•Flexible mounting options
APPLICATIONS
•Convert customer provided speaker, microphone and button hardware to a intercom capable of
working with the Jacques IP audio system
•Suitable for space constrained installation

The JIB-4000 product features a RJ45 port, LED indicators and a micro USB port on their front panel.

When lit, indicates the devices internal power rails (5 V d.c. and 12 V d.c.) are
operational.

Indicates the devices current operational status / mode.
Typical modes:
Green: Call connected
Green Flashing: Server disconnected
Red: Device is operating in ‘Recovery Mode’

When lit, indicates ethernet link is detected
ACT
When lit, indicates ethernet data (TX / RX) activity
