SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
• To avoi a circuit overloa , o not operate another high
wattage appliance on the same circuit.
• If an extension cor is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cor
shoul be use . Cor s rate for less amperage may overheat.
Care shoul be taken to arrange the cor so that it cannot be
pulle or trippe over.

POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS

FILLING THE ATER TANK
Use preferably emineralise water. If you want to use the steam ial
fill the water tank as follows:
1) Unplug the iron from the outlet to let it cool own an set it
horizontally on a stable level surface.
2) Turn the temperature ial to "MIN" an variable steam ial to the
"0" setting.
3) To fill the water tank, open the li of the filling opening an pour
water through the fill opening using a measuring cup. Never
excee the MAX mark in icate in on the appliance.
4) When ironing, unplug the appliance before refilling. Fill the water
tank by hol ing the appliance in horizontal position without
putting own the hot soleplate, unless you have a heat-resistant
base.

TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
• You can chose the temperature setting in function with the cloth
to iron.
• In or er to turn the iron on, please turn the temperature knob
clockwise into the require position (see table below). If you
oubt, take a look at the garment label.
DRY PRESSING
• Turn the variable steam ial on position 0.
• Plug in the iron.
• Set temperature ial for the esire fabric. Always check the
label of the garment before choosing the temperature setting.
• Set iron on heel rest an wait until temperature in icator light
goes out.

• Put the plug of the appliance into the power socket.
• Turn the temperature ial clockwise into the require position.
• Turn variable steam ial between 0 an for minimum steam
or to the position for a larger amount of steam.
• Set the iron on its heel an wait until the temperature in icator
goes out.
Caution: Set the temperature ial within the steam range (' ' or
''). If temperature setting is too low, water may rip from
soleplate.
Check the garment label before ironing because some clothes may
be amage when expose to steam or water.
SPRAY
• Pro uces a mist for removing stubborn creases.
• Spray can be use at any temperature setting an uring
either ry or steam pressing. Press own the spray button to spray.
BURST OF STEAM
The burst of steam feature provi es a itional steam for
removing stubborn creases.
This button also allows you to iron elicate articles of clothing
vertically. This feature is calle "vertical burst steam". To o so, hang
your article of clothing on a hanger, keep the steam button presse
an pass the iron to an fro in front of the article of clothing, making
sure that the soleplate oes not come into contact with the article of
clothing. The istance between the soleplate an the article of
clothing epen s on the kin of textile an the creases.

CARE AND CLEANING
• Clean the iron regularly accor ing to the har ness of the water
an the use frequency.
• Fill the water tank an put the thermostat in MAX position.
• Plug in the appliance. The pilot light will come on. Make sure the
steam ial is in "0" position. Put the iron in vertical position.
• Never use vinegar or other liquids to descale clean the iron.
• As soon as the pilot light goes off, hol the iron in horizontal
position over a sink an sli e the steam ial to the SELF CLEAN
position. Keep the ial in this position. Steam an ust particles
will come out of the soleplate.
• When the water tank is empty, release the steam ial.
• To clean the plastic parts of the iron, use a humi cloth.
• To clean the soleplate, make sure you use a pro uct ma e
especially for this purpose. Never use abrasive pro ucts.
HEN YOU HAVE FINISHED IRONING
• Turn temperature ial to "MIN" an unplug iron from electrical
outlet.
• With soleplate facing away from you, turn iron upsi e own to
empty water.

Then store the hot iron on its heel rest so that any remaining
moisture will evaporate. When the soleplate has totally coole
own, you may store the iron.

INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES
• Para evitar una sobrecarga el circuito no haga funcionar otro
aparato e alto vataje en el mismo circuito.
• Si resulta absolutamente necesario usar un cable e extensión, se
ebe usar un cable e 10 amperios. Los cables con tensiones

PARA LLENAR EL DEPÓSITO
Pue e utilizar siempre agua esmineraliza a o agua el grifo. Si
esea utilizar la función spray o vapor, rellene el
epósito siguien o
estas instrucciones:
1) Desenchufe el aparato, éjelo enfriar y colóquelo
horizontalmente en una superficie plana.
2) Ponga el botón e regulación e temperaturas en la posición
MIN y el botón e regulación e vapor en la posición "0".
3) Deslice la tapa el orificio e entra a el agua y llene el
epósito, utilizan o un recipiente gra ua o. No supere el nivel
máximo in ica o en el aparato.
