1.1 About the KTP-1000 Portable Thermal Printer
Thank you for choosing the KTP-1000 Portable Thermal Printer.
The KTP-1000 Portable Thermal Printer is a lightweight portable printer that is compact
and simple to operate. It saves space and works with a variety of bill counters (with the
use of proper adaptor and cables).
1.2 Important Safety Notes
This section presents important infromation intended to ensure safety and effective use
of the printer. Please read carefully. Basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Be sure the specied battery and power source provided with your KTP-1000.
Connection to an improper power source may cause re, explosion or damage to
the printer.
• Don’t put the battery into re or water, don’t disassemble or modify the battery, be
cautious of short circuits, otherwise may result in injury or re, or even explosion.
• When storing the unit for long periods of time, be sure to remove the battery,
other wise the battery may leak corrosive uid. If battery uid is spattered on
clothes or skin, wash it with water immediately. If spattered in eyes, please rise
them with water thoroughly and see a doctor.
• Do not open the paper roll cover when unit is printing. Do not touch the printer
head, it may be hot and may cause burn.
• Do not store the printer in hot and humid conditions.
• Make sure the printer’s power adapter is connected to a stable power of
110~220 V. If unit is plugged into a socket with other multiple devices, voltage
uctuations may occur.
• Make sure a paper roll is always correctly installed when operating the unit.

BUTTON INSTRUCTIONS
Under the normal working status, paper will feed when the FEED
button is pressed and held, when the FEED button is release the
paper should stop feeding.
Power off the printer.
Hold the FEED and POWER button for 2 sec, then release.
- Power off the printer.
- Hold the FEED and POWER button. Keep holding.
- Both the Feed and Power indicators should turn on.
The Feed indicator should go out, and turn on again, then
release the FEED button.
*The density setting status will be printed out.
(It has 3 level settings for the printing density: Low, Mid, and High.
To switch the density status, repeat the operation above)

2.2 Setting Up & Changing Printer Paper
Open the top cover of the printer to make
sure the paper roll is inserted properly.
Correct

Feed a bit of the paper outside of the printer,
then close the top cover.
Tear off excess paper
using the built in saw teeth.

Before charging your printer
make sure that you have
removed the film on the battery.
If you have not removed the
film, see section 2.1 Removing
Protective Film From Your
Battery. If you have removed
the film continue reading
through section 2.3.
Insert one end of the power cord to a power
outlet and the other end to the power port on
the printer.
The printer will start charging the battery
(charging indicator light should turn on) and
can be turned on by pressing the power button.
Note:
When storing the unit for long periods of time, remove the battery from the unit to
preserve the life of the battery and prevent possible battery fluid leakage.
For consistent charging and power make sure the outlet being used has a stable power
of 110~220 Volts, and that there aren’t too many devices plugged into the same outlet.
