electronic temperature controller
The internal temperature of your wine cooler
is controlled by an electronic temperature
controllersituatedinthefrontpanel.
When you first switch the wine cooler
on, wait for 30 minutes before altering
the setting to let the wine cooler
stabilise. During this time the ‘Red’ wine
light may stay on.
The wine cooler is preset from the
factory to automatically accommodate
temperature requirements for red or
white wines. If you store mostly white
wines, press the ‘White’ button and the
wine cooler will maintain an average
temperature between 7 and 10°C.
Pressing the ‘Red’ button will yield an
average temperature between 13 and
16°C.
The wine cooler can be set to any
temperature required. To set the
temperature, press both the ‘Red’ and
‘White’ buttons simultaneously and
hold for approximately 3 seconds. You
are now in the ‘Temperature Set’ mode.
Decrease the temperature by pressing
the ‘White’ button and increase the
temperature by pressing the ‘Red’
button. When the temperature is set,
press the ‘Light’ button to return to
normal operating mode, the
temperature display will revert to
displaying the current internal
temperature.
There is up to a+/-3degree variance
between the temperature set and the
temperature indicated on the LED
readout. This is because of the cyclical
way that the cooler operates. There may
be up to 10°C variation between the top
and bottom shelves of the wine cooler.
therefore, if you have set the wine
cooler to 10°C and have a mix of red and
white wines, you may want to put the
white wine on the bottom shelf where
the temperature will be approximately
7°C and the red wine on the top shelf
where the temperature will be
approximately 13°C.
The temperatures achieved by the wine
cooler, between approximately 7°C and
16°C, are specifically designed for the
storage of wine and are not suitable for
the storage of food.
