2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot

surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible

materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at

least 3 feet, from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and

rear.

3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or

invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.

4. Always unplug heater when not in use.

5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater

malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to

authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or

repair.

6. Do not use outdoors.

7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor

locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water

container.

8. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or

similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be

tripped over.

9. To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.

as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.

12.To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do

not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

Tools/Items Recommended For Assembly

1. Medium Phillips Screwdriver or Flat Head Screwdriver

1. For aesthetic purposes, this version of the product may not come with transport wheels.

Although is not very heavy, moving it back and forth may become tiresome. For your

safety, and to prevent unnecessary damage, please select a placement location for

your heater prior to assembly. It is recommended you place the main fireplace

body in the location or as close to the selected location as possible. This way, any

moving of the fireplace after assembly is kept to a minimum.

2. The studs (in the wood items) that will support the cam screws are precision

threaded. To avoid unnecessary damage and stripping of the studs, please make

sure you do not cross-thread (screw in at an angle) the cam screws into the studs.

These will be difficult to replace or repair if done so.

3. Although the studs (in the wood) are durable, it is recommended that a

screwdriver be used to tighten the cam screws and to lock the cam locks. A drill

can derail and cause cross-threading, lock jams, stripped screws, and damaged

cam locks. Wing nut fasteners should be hand tightened only.

4. Although the assembly of this product is a simple 3-step process (1. Install mantle

2. Install Support “L” Bracket 3. Install Corner Piece Attachment), unforeseen

issues may occur. If you have trouble assembling the product, reading the

assembly instructions, or accidentally damage something along the way, please

stop immediately and call Technical Support. We are here to help!

Step 1: Mount the mantle (media piece) to the fireplace heater body. Make sure the

mantle sits flush to the fireplace. The mantle will be slightly larger in diameter than

the fireplace top. It does not sit on top of the fireplace. Rather the mantle encases the

top of the fireplace.
